Description

Claims (19)
- グループベースのマシンツーマシン通信を行うための方法であって、
通信ネットワークから指示を受信するステップであり、前記指示はIPアドレスに関連付けられた情報を含み、前記IPアドレスが複数のマシンタイプ通信(MTC)送受信ユニット(WTRU)を含むMTCグループに割り振られ、前記IPアドレスがMTC WTRUのネットワーク登録プロセスの前に前記通信ネットワークにより割り振られる、ステップと、
前記受信した指示に基づいて前記IPアドレスを取得するステップと、
所定の送信ウィンドウで、前記取得されたIPアドレスを用いてデータを送信するステップと
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記IPアドレスの割振りは、MTCアクセスサーバからのサービス要求によりトリガされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記通信ネットワークからの前記指示は、前記MTCグループに割り振られた無線リソースに関連付けられた情報をさらに含み、前記方法は、前記受信した指示に基づいて、前記無線リソースを取得するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- スリープサイクルからウェイクアップするステップと、
前記通信ネットワークからのページングまたはブロードキャストの少なくとも一方を待ち受けるステップであり、前記IPアドレスに関連付けられた情報を含む前記指示が、ページングまたはブロードキャストの前記少なくとも一方を介して受信される、ステップと、
前記MTC WTRUがデータ送信を完了するとスリープサイクルに戻るステップと
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記割り振られたIPアドレスは、前記MTC WTRUがデータ送信を完了すると解放されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記割り振られたIPアドレスは、前記MTC WTRUがデータ送信を完了すると維持されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- グループベースのマシンツーマシン通信を行うように構成されたワイヤレス送受信ユニット(WTRU)であって、
通信ネットワークから指示を受信し、前記指示はIPアドレスに関連付けられた情報を含み、前記IPアドレスがマシンタイプ通信(MTC)グループのマスタMTC WTRUを介して前記MTCグループに割り振られ、前記MTCグループが複数のMTC WTRUを含み、および
所定の送信ウィンドウで前記割り振られたIPアドレスを用いてデータを送信する
ように構成された送受信器と、
前記受信した指示に基づいて前記IPアドレスを取得し、および
データを送信するために、前記WTRUに関連付けられた前記所定の送信ウィンドウを決定する
ように構成されたプロセッサと
を備えることを特徴とするWTRU。 - 前記WTRUは前記MTCグループの前記マスタMTC WTRUとして動作し、前記プロセッサは、前記MTCグループのためにネットワーク登録を行うようにさらに構成されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のWTRU。
- 前記WTRUは前記MTCグループの前記マスタMTC WTRUとして動作し、前記送受信器は、前記MTCグループのためにネットワーク登録要求を送るようにさらに構成され、前記通信ネットワークからの前記指示は、前記ネットワーク登録要求に応じて送信されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のWTRU。
- 前記ネットワーク登録要求は、前記MTCグループに関連付けられたグループ国際移動体加入者識別番号(IMSI)を含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のWTRU。
- 前記ネットワーク登録要求は、前記MTCグループに関連付けられたグループ国際移動体加入者識別番号(IMSI)と、少なくとも1つのMTC WTRU識別子とを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のWTRU。
- 前記送受信器は、
スリープサイクルからウェイクアップするとブロードキャストチャネルで待ち受け、
国際移動体加入者識別番号(IMSI)を含むブロードキャストメッセージを受信する
ようにさらに構成され、
前記プロセッサは、
前記IMSIが前記MTCグループに関連付けられたグループIMSIに一致するかどうかを判定し、
前記IMSIが、前記MTCグループに関連付けられた前記グループIMSIに一致するという判定に基づき、前記受信したブロードキャストメッセージを処理する、
ようにさらに構成されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のWTRU。 - 前記WTRUは前記MTCグループのスレーブMTC WTRUとして動作し、
前記送受信器は、
スリープサイクルからウェイクアップすると、前記MTCグループが前記ネットワークに接続されたという指示を求めるようにブロードキャストチャネルで待ち受け、および
前記MTCグループが前記ネットワークに接続されたという指示を受信すると、前記WTRUに関連付けられた所定の送信ウィンドウの指示を求めるようにページングチャネルを監視する
ようにさらに構成されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のWTRU。 - 前記WTRUは前記MTCグループのスレーブMTC WTRUとして動作し、
前記送受信器は、ページングメッセージを受信するようにさらに構成され、
前記プロセッサは、
前記WTRUが制御サイクル中にあるかどうかを判定し、
前記WTRUが制御サイクル中にあるという判定に基づき、前記受信したページングメッセージが前記MTCグループを対象としているかどうかを判定し、および
前記受信したページングメッセージが前記MTCグループを対象としているという判定に基づき、前記MTCグループのマスタMTC WTRUが、前記MTCグループのためにネットワーク登録を行うのを待つ
ようにさらに構成されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のWTRU。 - 前記送受信器は、ページングメッセージを受信するようにさらに構成され、
前記プロセッサは、
前記WTRUが制御サイクル中にあるかどうかを判定し、
前記WTRUが制御サイクル中にあるという判定に基づき、前記受信したページングメッセージが前記MTCグループを対象としているか、それとも前記WTRUを対象としているかを判定し、および
前記受信したページングメッセージは前記WTRUを対象としているという判定に基づき、WTRU専用のIPアドレスおよび無線リソースを要求する
ようにさらに構成されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のWTRU。 - 前記IPアドレスは、前記MTCグループとのマシンツーマシン通信を容易にするために、MTCアクセスサーバからのサービス要求があると、前記通信ネットワークにより割り振られることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のWTRU。
- 前記WTRUに関連付けられた前記所定の送信ウィンドウは、前記通信ネットワークからのページに基づいて決定されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のWTRU。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記WTRUが、前記MTCグループ中でデータを送信する最後のWTRUである場合、データ送信を完了すると、前記割り振られたIPアドレスの解放を開始するようにさらに構成されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のWTRU。
- グループベースのマシンツーマシン通信を容易にするように構成されたコアネットワークであって、
MTCアクセスサーバと、MTCグループとの間の通信を容易にするために前記MTCアクセスサーバから指示を受信するように構成された送受信器であり、前記MTCグループが複数のMTCワイヤレス送受信ユニット(WTRU)を含む、送受信器と、
前記MTCアクセスサーバから前記指示を受信すると、IPアドレスおよび無線リソースを前記MTCグループに割り振り、前記IPアドレスおよび無線リソースは、前記MTCグループ中の前記複数の前記MTC WTRUが前記コアネットワークに登録する前に割り振られており、および
前記割り振られたIPアドレスおよび無線リソースに関連付けられた情報を、前記MTCグループ中の前記複数のMTC WTRUに送信する
ように構成されたプロセッサと
を備えることを特徴とするコアネットワーク。
