Description
本発明は、金属粉末および金属粉末の製造方法、導電性ペースト、並びに積層セラミックコンデンサに関する。特に、積層セラミックコンデンサの内部電極に用いる導電性ペースト用の導電性微粉末として好適な金属粉末、その製造方法、およびそれを用いた導電性ペースト、並びに積層セラミックコンデンサに関する。 The present invention relates to a metal powder, a method for producing the metal powder, a conductive paste, and a multilayer ceramic capacitor. In particular, the present invention relates to a metal powder suitable as a conductive fine powder for a conductive paste used for an internal electrode of a multilayer ceramic capacitor, a manufacturing method thereof, a conductive paste using the same, and a multilayer ceramic capacitor.
近年、金属粉末は、種々の分野で使用されており、厚膜導電体の材料として、積層セラミック部品の電極等の電気回路の形成に使用されている。例えば、積層セラミックコンデンサ(Multi−LayerCeramic Capacitor:MLCC)の内部電極は、金属粉末を含む導電性ペーストを用いて形成されている。 In recent years, metal powder has been used in various fields, and as a material for thick film conductors, it has been used for forming electric circuits such as electrodes of multilayer ceramic parts. For example, an internal electrode of a multi-layer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) is formed using a conductive paste containing metal powder.
この積層セラミックコンデンサは、複数の誘電体層と複数の導電層(内部電極層)とを、圧着により交互に積み重ね、これを焼成して一体化することにより、積層セラミック焼成体としたセラミック本体と、当該セラミック本体の両端部に一対の外部電極を形成したものである。 This multilayer ceramic capacitor includes a ceramic body formed as a multilayer ceramic fired body by alternately stacking a plurality of dielectric layers and a plurality of conductive layers (internal electrode layers) by pressure bonding and firing and integrating them. A pair of external electrodes are formed at both ends of the ceramic body.
More specifically, for example, a metal powder is mixed with an organic vehicle in which an organic binder such as a cellulose resin is dissolved in a solvent such as terpineol, and is kneaded and dispersed by a three-roll roll or the like, thereby conducting a conductive material for an internal electrode. First, an adhesive paste is prepared. Next, this conductive paste is printed on a ceramic green sheet forming a dielectric layer, and the ceramic green sheet and the conductive paste layer (internal electrode layer) are alternately stacked by pressure bonding to form a laminate. . And a laminated ceramic fired body can be obtained by firing this laminated body in a reducing atmosphere.
また、この積層セラミックコンデンサの内部電極を形成する導電性ペーストに含有される金属粉末として、従来、白金、パラジウム、銀−パラジウム合金等の金属が用いられていたが、これらの金属は高価であるため、近年、低コスト化を図るべく、より安価な卑金属、特にニッケル等の金属が使用されている。 In addition, metals such as platinum, palladium, and silver-palladium alloys have been conventionally used as the metal powder contained in the conductive paste forming the internal electrode of the multilayer ceramic capacitor, but these metals are expensive. Therefore, in recent years, cheaper base metals, particularly metals such as nickel, have been used in order to reduce costs.
As a method for producing the metal powder, a liquid phase reduction method in which metal ions are reduced with a reducing agent is used in addition to a gas phase reduction method in which a vaporized metal raw material is reduced with hydrogen gas. More specifically, for example, a reducing agent aqueous solution containing a reducing agent is prepared, and a nickel aqueous solution containing nickel ions is mixed into the reducing agent aqueous solution to reduce nickel ions and deposit nickel powder. The so-called liquid phase reduction method is widely used. According to this liquid phase reduction method, it is possible to produce nickel powder having a desired particle size, extremely stable quality, and having few impurities. For example, Patent Document 1 proposes a method for producing a metal powder that is fine and has a more uniform particle diameter by controlling the timing of charging the metal salt solution.
In recent years, along with the enhancement of performance of electronic components, it is required to reduce the size and increase the capacity of the multilayer ceramic capacitor, and also to smooth the electrode surface of the internal electrode. For this purpose, the metal powder needs to be uniformly dispersed in the conductive paste used as the electrode. According to the liquid phase reduction method, it is possible to produce a metal powder with a small particle size and a very stable quality and less impurities compared to the gas phase method. Further, according to the production method presented in Patent Document 1, it is described that “a metal powder having a finer particle size and a more uniform particle size can be produced by a liquid phase method”.
しかし、微粒かつ粒径の均一な金属粉末を製造することができたとしても、製造工程において粒子同士が凝集すると、導電性ペースト中での分散性が低下し、係る粒子凝集物を含む導電性ペーストにより、積層セラミックコンデンサの内部電極を形成すると、電極表面の平滑化が困難になるという問題があった。 However, even if a metal powder having a fine particle size and a uniform particle size can be produced, if the particles are aggregated in the production process, the dispersibility in the conductive paste is reduced, and the conductive material containing the aggregated particles. When the internal electrode of the multilayer ceramic capacitor is formed by the paste, there is a problem that it is difficult to smooth the electrode surface.
本発明は、上述の問題に鑑みてなされたものであり、粒子凝集物を生じにくいように改善された、液相還元法による金属粉末の製造方法を提供することを目的とする。 The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing metal powder by a liquid phase reduction method, which is improved so as not to easily generate particle aggregates.
本発明に係る金属粉末製造方法は、還元剤として三塩化チタンおよびヒドラジンの少なくとも一方の化合物、金属化合物、錯化剤、及び分散剤を溶解することにより、該金属化合物に由来する金属イオンを含有する水溶液を作製する第1工程と、前記水溶液をアルカリ性にpH調整することにより前記金属イオンを前記還元剤により還元させ、金属粉末を析出させる第2工程とを備える。 The metal powder production method according to the present invention contains metal ions derived from a metal compound by dissolving at least one compound of titanium trichloride and hydrazine, a metal compound, a complexing agent, and a dispersing agent as a reducing agent. And a second step of reducing the metal ions with the reducing agent and precipitating metal powder by adjusting the pH of the aqueous solution to alkaline .
According to the above configuration, the method includes the second step of reducing the metal ions with a reducing agent by adjusting the pH of the aqueous solution and precipitating the metal powder. In other words, the metal powder is precipitated by adjusting the pH. Have. Since the deposition rate of the metal powder can be reduced by adjusting the pH, the rate at which the metal particles are deposited can be reduced. The proportion of the particle aggregate can be reduced as compared with the above-described conventional case.
The reducing agent is at least one of titanium trichloride and hydrazine. Titanium trichloride and hydrazine have a strong reducing power and can easily reduce a base metal compound. Therefore, these can be suitably used for the metal powder manufacturing method according to the present invention.
In the metal powder production method according to the present invention, the metal compound is preferably a base metal compound. In general, base metals are more difficult to deposit by liquid phase reduction method than noble metals, and therefore it is necessary to use a strong reducing agent. As a result, the deposition rate becomes too high, and before the precipitated metal is stabilized by the dispersant, the metals come into contact with each other and particle aggregates are easily formed. According to the metal powder production method of the present invention, the metal powder can be deposited by adjusting the pH, and the deposition rate can be controlled. As a result, even if it is a base metal compound, since the time which the deposited metal stabilizes with a dispersing agent can be given, generation | occurrence | production of a particle aggregate can be suppressed.
本発明に係る金属粉末製造方法は、前記金属化合物がニッケル、鉄、及びコバルトからなる群のうち少なくともいずれか1つの金属の化合物であることが好ましい。上記構成によれば、導電性ペーストの主成分として広く用いられる卑金属であるニッケル・鉄・コバルトの粒子凝集物の無い金属粉末を容易に作製できる。 In the metal powder manufacturing method according to the present invention, it is preferable that the metal compound is a compound of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of nickel , iron , and cobalt. According to the said structure, the metal powder without the particle aggregate of nickel, iron, and cobalt which is a base metal widely used as a main component of an electrically conductive paste can be produced easily.
本発明に係る金属粉末製造方法は、前記pH調整が炭酸ナトリウムまたはアンモニア水により行われることが好ましい。炭酸ナトリウムおよびアンモニア水は適度なアルカリ性を有するため、pH調整の速度を制御しやすく、本発明に係る金属粉末製造方法に好適に用いることができる。 In the metal powder production method according to the present invention, the pH adjustment is preferably performed with sodium carbonate or aqueous ammonia. Since sodium carbonate and aqueous ammonia have moderate alkalinity, it is easy to control the rate of pH adjustment and can be suitably used in the method for producing metal powder according to the present invention.
本発明に係る金属粉末は、卑金属で形成された平均粒径が20nm以上200nm以下の金属粉末である。また、前記金属粉末の複数の粒子が凝集することにより形成された粒子凝集物の占める割合が、金属粉末の全粒子数に対して1.0%未満である。ここでいう平均粒径とは、体積換算の積算値50%のD50をいい、走査型電子顕微鏡(SEM)により観察した500個の粒子の画像解析により測定したものである。 The metal powder according to the present invention is a metal powder formed of a base metal and having an average particle diameter of 20 nm to 200 nm. Moreover, the ratio for which the particle aggregate formed when the several particle | grains of the said metal powder aggregate is less than 1.0% with respect to the total particle number of metal powder. The average particle diameter here refers to D50 having an integrated value of 50% in terms of volume, and is measured by image analysis of 500 particles observed with a scanning electron microscope (SEM).
上記構成によれば、金属粉末の複数の粒子が凝集することにより形成された粒子凝集物の占める割合が、金属粉末の全粒子数に対して1.0%未満である。従って、導電ペーストの主成分として使用した場合、導電性ペースト中に均質に分散性させることができる。また、係る導電性ペーストにより積層セラミックコンデンサの内部電極を形成すると、電極表面の平滑性を上記従来に比して向上させることが可能となる。 According to the said structure, the ratio for which the particle aggregate formed when the several particle | grains of metal powder aggregate is less than 1.0% with respect to the total particle number of metal powder. Therefore, when used as a main component of the conductive paste, it can be uniformly dispersed in the conductive paste. In addition, when the internal electrode of the multilayer ceramic capacitor is formed with such a conductive paste, the smoothness of the electrode surface can be improved as compared with the conventional case.
本発明に係る金属ペーストは、上記金属粉末を主成分とする。上記構成によれば、粒子凝集物の占める割合が、金属粉末の全粒子数に対して1.0%未満である金属粉末が充填された導電性ペーストを提供することが可能になるため、電極表面が平滑であり、電極途切れのない積層セラミックコンデンサの内部電極の形成に最適な導電性ペーストを提供することが可能になる。 The metal paste according to the present invention contains the metal powder as a main component. According to the above configuration, it is possible to provide a conductive paste filled with metal powder in which the ratio of the particle aggregate is less than 1.0% with respect to the total number of particles of the metal powder. It is possible to provide a conductive paste that has a smooth surface and is optimal for the formation of internal electrodes of a multilayer ceramic capacitor without electrode interruption.
本発明に係る積層セラミックコンデンサは、内部電極層および誘電体層を交互に積層して形成されたコンデンサ本体を備える積層セラミックコンデンサであって、前記内部電極層が、本発明に係る導電性ペーストにより形成されていることを特徴とする。 The multilayer ceramic capacitor according to the present invention is a multilayer ceramic capacitor including a capacitor body formed by alternately laminating internal electrode layers and dielectric layers, and the internal electrode layer is made of the conductive paste according to the present invention. It is formed.
同構成によれば、電極表面が平滑であり、さらに電極途切れのない内部電極を備える積層セラミックコンデンサを提供することが可能になる。 According to this configuration, it is possible to provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor having an internal electrode with a smooth electrode surface and no electrode interruption.
本発明によれば、粒子凝集物を生じにくいように改善された、液相還元法による金属粉末の製造方法を提供できる。 ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the manufacturing method of the metal powder by the liquid phase reduction method improved so that a particle aggregate may be hard to produce can be provided.
以下、本発明を具体化した金属粉末の製造方法の一実施形態、および製造された金属粉末を使用した積層セラミックコンデンサを説明する。この実施形態において製造される金属粉末は、積層セラミックコンデンサの内部電極に用いる導電性ペースト用の導電性粉末として使用されるものである。また、この金属粉末の製造方法は、水溶液中の金属イオンを還元して、金属化合物を湿式還元処理する液相還元法を改良したものである。 Hereinafter, an embodiment of a method for producing a metal powder embodying the present invention and a multilayer ceramic capacitor using the produced metal powder will be described. The metal powder produced in this embodiment is used as a conductive powder for a conductive paste used for an internal electrode of a multilayer ceramic capacitor. In addition, this metal powder production method is an improvement of the liquid phase reduction method in which metal ions in an aqueous solution are reduced and the metal compound is subjected to a wet reduction treatment.
具体的には、金属化合物、還元剤、錯化剤、分散剤を溶解することにより、金属化合物に由来する金属イオンを含有する水溶液を作製する第1工程と、水溶液のpH調整をすることにより金属イオンを還元剤により還元させ、金属粉末を析出させる第2工程とを備えること特徴を有する。 Specifically, by dissolving a metal compound, a reducing agent, a complexing agent, and a dispersant, a first step of preparing an aqueous solution containing metal ions derived from the metal compound, and adjusting the pH of the aqueous solution And a second step of reducing metal ions with a reducing agent and precipitating metal powder.
For example, when producing a nickel powder or a nickel-based alloy powder as the metal powder, the metal powder contains a metal ion (nickel ion) in which a nickel salt (for example, nickel chloride) as a metal compound is dissolved in pure water. An aqueous solution to which a dispersant is added and a titanium ion aqueous solution containing trivalent titanium ions acting as a reducing agent are mixed at a predetermined ratio to prepare a reaction solution, and then sodium carbonate as a pH adjuster is added to the reaction solution. By adding aqueous solution to adjust pH and stirring, nickel ions are reduced to deposit nickel powder or alloy powder containing nickel as a main component.
製造される金属粉末としては、特に限定されないが、卑金属の金属粉末、または、卑金属を含む合金の金属粉末に好適に使用される。貴金属の金属粉末を製造することも可能であるが、貴金属化合物は還元が容易であるため、マイルドな特性を持つ還元剤により還元させることができる。そのため、特段に、pH調整によって制御する必要がない。 Although it does not specifically limit as metal powder manufactured, It uses suitably for the metal powder of a base metal, or the metal powder of the alloy containing a base metal. Although it is possible to produce a noble metal powder, the noble metal compound can be reduced with a reducing agent having mild properties because it can be easily reduced. Therefore, it is not particularly necessary to control by pH adjustment.
In particular, nickel, iron and cobalt powders are also preferably used in the base metal powder. This is because the cost is low and it is suitable as a conductive material. In particular, nickel powder and nickel-based alloy powder are excellent in conductivity, low in cost, and excellent in oxidation resistance compared to other metals such as copper. It is less likely to occur and is suitable as a conductive material. Examples of the alloy powder of nickel include an alloy powder of nickel and at least one element selected from the group consisting of manganese, chromium, cobalt, aluminum, iron, copper, zinc, silver, gold, platinum, and palladium. Can be used. Further, the content of nickel in the alloy powder containing nickel as a main component is 50% by mass or more, preferably 80% by mass or more. This is because if the nickel content is reduced, oxidation is likely to occur during firing, and therefore, electrode breakage, a decrease in capacitance, and the like are likely to occur.
また、本発明に係る金属粉末は、積層セラミックコンデンサの内部電極に用いる導電性ペースト用の導電性粉末として使用されるため、ニッケル粉末またはニッケルを主成分とする合金粉末の平均粒径D50が20nm〜200nmであるものが使用できる。 Moreover, since the metal powder according to the present invention is used as a conductive powder for a conductive paste used for an internal electrode of a multilayer ceramic capacitor, the average particle diameter D50 of nickel powder or an alloy powder containing nickel as a main component is 20 nm. Those with ~ 200 nm can be used.
また、使用するニッケル塩は、特に限定されないが、例えば、塩化ニッケル、硫酸ニッケル、硝酸ニッケル、酢酸ニッケル、スルファミン酸ニッケル、および水酸化ニッケルからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種類を含むものが使用できる。また、これらのニッケル塩のうち、還元剤である三塩化チタンと同じ塩素イオンを含むとの観点から、塩化ニッケルを使用することが好ましい。 The nickel salt to be used is not particularly limited. For example, a nickel salt containing at least one selected from the group consisting of nickel chloride, nickel sulfate, nickel nitrate, nickel acetate, nickel sulfamate, and nickel hydroxide can be used. . Of these nickel salts, nickel chloride is preferably used from the viewpoint that it contains the same chlorine ions as titanium trichloride, which is a reducing agent.
また、反応液中のニッケル塩の濃度は、5g/l以上100g/l以下が好ましい。これは、ニッケル塩の濃度が5g/l未満の場合は、十分な量のニッケル粉末を還元析出させることが困難になるため、生産性が低下し、また、ニッケル塩の濃度が100g/lより大きい場合は、ニッケル粒子同士の衝突確率が増すため粒子が凝集しやすく、粒径の制御が困難になるという不都合が生じる場合があるためである。 The concentration of the nickel salt in the reaction solution is preferably 5 g / l or more and 100 g / l or less. This is because when the nickel salt concentration is less than 5 g / l, it is difficult to reduce and precipitate a sufficient amount of nickel powder, resulting in a decrease in productivity, and the nickel salt concentration from 100 g / l. If it is large, the collision probability between the nickel particles increases, so that the particles are likely to aggregate, and there is a case where it is difficult to control the particle size.
また、使用する還元剤としては、例えば、三塩化チタン、ヒドラジン、水素化ホウ素ナトリウム、エチレングリコール等のポリオール、アスコルビン酸等が使用できる。このうち、金属イオンに対する強還元性を有する三塩化チタン、ヒドラジンが特に好ましく、三塩化チタンが最も好ましい。 Moreover, as a reducing agent to be used, for example, titanium trichloride, hydrazine, sodium borohydride, polyols such as ethylene glycol, ascorbic acid and the like can be used. Of these, titanium trichloride and hydrazine having strong reducibility to metal ions are particularly preferred, and titanium trichloride is most preferred.
また、pH調整剤は、従来、ニッケル粉末の還元析出工程において使用されているものであれば、特に限定されないが、例えば、炭酸ナトリウム、アンモニア、水酸化ナトリウム等を使用することができる。このうち、炭酸ナトリウム、アンモニアが適度なアルカリ性を有するため、pH調整の速度を制御しやすく、特に好ましく、炭酸ナトリウムが最も好ましい。 In addition, the pH adjuster is not particularly limited as long as it is conventionally used in the reduction and precipitation step of nickel powder. For example, sodium carbonate, ammonia, sodium hydroxide and the like can be used. Among these, since sodium carbonate and ammonia have moderate alkalinity, it is easy to control the speed of pH adjustment, particularly preferable, and sodium carbonate is most preferable.
また、使用する分散剤としては、反応液中のニッケル粉末またはニッケルを主成分とする合金粉末の分散性を向上させるとともに、還元析出したニッケル粉末またはニッケルを主成分とする合金粉末の表面に炭素を吸着させることができるものであれば、特に限定されない。例えば、高分子分散剤であるポリビニルピロリドン(PVP)、ポリエチレンイミン、ポリアクリル酸、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリカルボン酸型アニオン系分散剤等を使用することができる。 In addition, as a dispersant to be used, the dispersibility of nickel powder or alloy powder containing nickel as a main component in the reaction solution is improved, and carbon is formed on the surface of the nickel powder or nickel powder containing nickel as a main component by reduction precipitation. If it can adsorb | suck, it will not specifically limit. For example, a polymer dispersant such as polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP), polyethyleneimine, polyacrylic acid, polyvinyl alcohol, polycarboxylic acid type anionic dispersant and the like can be used.
水溶液のpH調整をすることにより金属イオンを還元剤により還元させ、金属粉末を析出させることにより金属粉末の複数の粒子が凝集することにより形成された粒子凝集物の占める割合を、上記従来に比して、小さくすることができる理由は、詳細は明らかではないが、以下のような機構によると考えられている。 By adjusting the pH of the aqueous solution, metal ions are reduced with a reducing agent, and the proportion of the particle aggregates formed by aggregating a plurality of particles of the metal powder by precipitating the metal powder is compared with the conventional one. The reason why it can be made smaller is not clear in detail, but is considered to be due to the following mechanism.
液相還元法は金属化合物を溶解させて得られる金属イオンを還元させることにより、金属にし、析出させる方法である。還元反応は化学反応であるので、反応に適した金属イオン濃度、温度、pHが当然に存在する。上記条件の全てがそろった状態で、反応をスタートさせることができる。 The liquid phase reduction method is a method in which a metal ion obtained by dissolving a metal compound is reduced to form a metal and deposited. Since the reduction reaction is a chemical reaction, there are naturally metal ion concentrations, temperature, and pH suitable for the reaction. The reaction can be started with all of the above conditions in place.
In general, an aqueous solution in which a metal compound is dissolved is put into a reaction solution with other conditions. That is, the reaction is generally controlled by the metal ion concentration. In the above-mentioned Patent Document 1, the reaction rate is controlled by introducing all metal ions during the period from the start of injection to 2/3 of the peak of temperature rise due to reaction heat generated with the reaction, and the precipitated metal particles The size is uniform. However, when metal ions are added in a state where other reaction conditions are in order, the reaction proceeds rapidly, so that the metal particles come into contact with each other before the deposited metal particles are protected by the dispersant, and particle aggregates Is considered to occur.
本実施形態においては、pH調整を最後に行うことにより、pH調整により反応速度を制御する。分散剤等の高分子を含む反応系においては、pH変化は徐々に進むため、金属イオンの還元反応も徐々に進行し、析出した金属粒子が分散剤により安定化される時間が取れるため、金属粒子同士が直接接触することが防止され、粒子凝集物が形成されることが抑制されるものと考えられる。 In the present embodiment, the reaction rate is controlled by adjusting the pH by adjusting the pH last. In a reaction system containing a polymer such as a dispersant, since the pH change gradually proceeds, the metal ion reduction reaction also proceeds gradually, and it takes time for the precipitated metal particles to be stabilized by the dispersant. It is considered that the particles are prevented from coming into direct contact and the formation of particle aggregates is suppressed.
Next, the conductive paste for the internal electrode of the multilayer ceramic capacitor will be described. The conductive paste of the present invention contains the above-described nickel powder of the present invention or an alloy powder containing nickel as a main component and an organic vehicle as main components. The organic vehicle used in the present invention is a mixture of a resin and a solvent. Examples of the resin include cellulose resins such as methyl cellulose, ethyl cellulose, nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, and cellulose propionate, methyl (meth) acrylate, ( Acrylic esters such as (meth) ethyl acrylate and propyl (meth) acrylate, alkyd resins, polyvinyl alcohol, and the like can be used, and ethyl cellulose is particularly preferably used from the viewpoints of safety and stability. Further, as the solvent constituting the organic vehicle, terpineol, tetralin, butyl carbitol, butyl carbitol acetate, carbitol acetate, or the like can be used alone or in combination.
When producing a conductive paste, for example, an organic vehicle in which an organic binder of a cellulose resin is dissolved in terpineol is produced, and then the nickel powder of the present invention or an alloy powder containing nickel as a main component and the organic vehicle are produced. By mixing and kneading and dispersing with a three roll or ball mill, the conductive paste for the internal electrode of the multilayer ceramic capacitor of the present invention can be obtained. Note that a dielectric material, an additive for adjusting sintering, and the like can be added to the conductive paste.
Next, a method for manufacturing a multilayer ceramic capacitor using the above-described conductive paste will be described. First, a plurality of dielectric layers made of ceramic green sheets and a plurality of internal electrode layers made of conductive paste are alternately laminated by pressure bonding to obtain a laminate, and then the laminate is fired and integrated. By doing so, a multilayer ceramic fired body to be a ceramic capacitor body is produced. Thereafter, a multilayer ceramic capacitor is manufactured by forming a pair of external electrodes at both ends of the ceramic capacitor body.
More specifically, first, a ceramic green sheet that is an unfired ceramic sheet is prepared. As this ceramic green sheet, for example, a dielectric layer paste obtained by adding an organic binder such as polyvinyl butyral and a solvent such as terpineol to a predetermined ceramic raw material powder such as barium titanate, a PET film or the like. Examples thereof include a sheet formed on a support film and dried to remove the solvent. The thickness of the dielectric layer made of the ceramic green sheet is not particularly limited, but is preferably 0.05 μm to 3 μm from the viewpoint of demand for downsizing of the multilayer ceramic capacitor.
次いで、このセラミックグリーンシートの片面に、スクリーン印刷法等の公知の方法によって、上述の導電性ペーストを印刷して塗布し、導電性ペーストからなる内部電極層を形成したものを複数枚、用意する。なお、導電性ペーストからなる内部電極層の厚みは、当該内部電極層の薄層化の要請の観点から、1μm以下とすることが好ましい。 Next, a plurality of sheets are prepared by printing and applying the above-described conductive paste on one side of the ceramic green sheet by a known method such as a screen printing method to form an internal electrode layer made of the conductive paste. . Note that the thickness of the internal electrode layer made of the conductive paste is preferably 1 μm or less from the viewpoint of the demand for thinning of the internal electrode layer.
次いで、支持フィルムから、セラミックグリーンシートを剥離するとともに、セラミックグリーンシートからなる誘電体層とその片面に形成された導電性ペーストからなる内部電極層とが交互に配置されるように、加熱・加圧処理により積層して、積層体を得る。なお、当該積層体の両面に、導電性ペーストを塗布していない保護用のセラミックグリーンシートを配置する構成としても良い。 Next, the ceramic green sheet is peeled off from the support film, and heating and heating are performed so that the dielectric layer made of the ceramic green sheet and the internal electrode layer made of the conductive paste formed on one surface thereof are alternately arranged. Lamination is performed by pressure treatment to obtain a laminate. In addition, it is good also as a structure which arrange | positions the protective ceramic green sheet which has not apply | coated the electrically conductive paste on both surfaces of the said laminated body.
Next, after the laminated body is cut to a predetermined size to form a green chip, the green chip is subjected to a binder removal treatment and fired in a reducing atmosphere to produce a laminated ceramic fired body. In addition, it is preferable that the atmosphere in a debinder process is air | atmosphere or N2 gas atmosphere, and it is preferable that the temperature at the time of performing a debinder process shall be 200 to 400 degreeC. Moreover, it is preferable that the holding time of the said temperature at the time of performing a binder removal process shall be 0.5 to 24 hours. The firing is performed in a reducing atmosphere in order to suppress oxidation of the metal used for the internal electrode layer, and the atmosphere at the time of firing is an atmosphere of N 2 gas or a mixed gas of N 2 gas and H 2 gas. In addition, it is preferable to set the temperature at which the laminate is fired to 1000 ° C. to 1350 ° C. Moreover, it is preferable that the holding time of the said temperature at the time of baking shall be 0.5 to 8 hours.
グリーンチップの焼成を行うことにより、グリーンシート中の有機バインダーが除去されるとともに、セラミックの原料粉末が焼成されて、セラッミック製の誘電体層が形成される。また内部電極層中の有機ビヒクルが除去されるとともに、ニッケル粉末またはニッケルを主成分とする合金粉末が焼結もしくは溶融、一体化されて、内部電極が形成され、誘電体層と内部電極層とが複数枚、交互に積層された積層セラミック焼成体が形成される。 By firing the green chip, the organic binder in the green sheet is removed, and the ceramic raw material powder is fired to form a ceramic dielectric layer. Further, the organic vehicle in the internal electrode layer is removed, and the nickel powder or the alloy powder containing nickel as a main component is sintered or melted and integrated to form an internal electrode, and the dielectric layer, the internal electrode layer, A multilayer ceramic fired body in which a plurality of sheets are alternately laminated is formed.
なお、酸素を誘電体層の内部に取り込んで電気的特性を高めるとともに、内部電極の再酸化を抑制するとの観点から、焼成後のグリーンチップに対して、アニール処理を施すことが好ましい。なお、アニール処理における雰囲気は、N2ガス雰囲気にすることが好ましく、アニール処理を行う際の温度を800℃〜950℃とすることが好ましい。また、アニール処理を行う際の、上記温度の保持時間を2時間〜10時間とすることが好ましい。 In addition, it is preferable to anneal the green chip after firing from the viewpoint of taking oxygen into the dielectric layer to enhance electrical characteristics and suppressing reoxidation of the internal electrode. Note that the atmosphere in the annealing process is preferably an N 2 gas atmosphere, and the temperature during the annealing process is preferably set to 800 ° C. to 950 ° C. Moreover, it is preferable that the holding time of the said temperature at the time of annealing treatment shall be 2 hours-10 hours.
そして、作製した積層セラミック焼成体に対して、一対の外部電極を設けることにより、積層セラミックコンデンサが製造される。なお、外部電極の材料としては、例えば、銅やニッケル、またはこれらの合金が好適に使用できる。 And a laminated ceramic capacitor is manufactured by providing a pair of external electrodes with respect to the produced laminated ceramic fired body. In addition, as a material of an external electrode, copper, nickel, or these alloys can be used conveniently, for example.
According to the present embodiment described above, the following effects can be obtained.
(1) The present embodiment includes a second step of reducing the metal ions with a reducing agent by adjusting the pH of the aqueous solution and precipitating the metal powder. In other words, the metal powder is precipitated by adjusting the pH. It has a special feature. Since the deposition rate of the metal powder can be reduced by adjusting the pH, the deposition rate of the metal powder can be reduced. Therefore, particles formed by agglomeration of a plurality of metal powder particles with respect to the total number of metal powder particles The proportion of aggregates can be reduced as compared with the conventional case.
(2) In the present embodiment, the metal compound is preferably a base metal compound. As a result, even if it is a base metal compound, since the deposited metal can be given time for stabilization by the complexing agent, it can be deposited without generating particle aggregates.
(3)本実施形態においては、導電性ペーストの主成分として広く用いられる卑金属であるニッケル・鉄・コバルトにおいて、従来に比して粒子凝集物の少ない金属粉末を容易に作製できる。 (3) In the present embodiment, a nickel, iron, and cobalt, which are base metals widely used as the main component of the conductive paste, can be easily produced with a metal powder with less particle aggregates than in the past.
(4)本実施形態においては、還元力が強い三塩化チタンまたはヒドラジンを、還元剤として用いるため、卑金属の金属化合物を容易に還元することができる。
(5)また、pH調整は炭酸ナトリウムまたはアンモニア水により行われる。炭酸ナトリウムおよびアンモニア水は適度なアルカリ性を有するため、pH調整の速度を制御しやすく、金属粉末製造方法に好適である。
(4) In the present embodiment, titanium trichloride or hydrazine having a strong reducing power is used as a reducing agent, so that a base metal compound can be easily reduced.
(5) Moreover, pH adjustment is performed by sodium carbonate or ammonia water. Since sodium carbonate and aqueous ammonia have moderate alkalinity, it is easy to control the speed of pH adjustment, and it is suitable for the metal powder production method.
(6)本実施形態においては、製造された金属粉末の平均粒径が20nm以上200nm以下であって、複数の粒子が凝集することにより形成された粒子凝集物の占める割合が、金属粉末の全粒子数に対して1.0%未満である。従って、導電ペーストの主成分として使用した場合、導電性ペースト中に均質に分散性させることができる。また、係る導電性ペーストにより積層セラミックコンデンサの内部電極を形成すると、電極表面の平滑性を上記従来に比して向上させることが可能となる。 (6) In the present embodiment, the average particle size of the manufactured metal powder is 20 nm or more and 200 nm or less, and the proportion of the particle aggregate formed by aggregating a plurality of particles is the total amount of the metal powder. It is less than 1.0% with respect to the number of particles.

In addition, this invention is not limited to these Examples, These Examples can be changed and changed based on the meaning of this invention, and they are excluded from the scope of the present invention. is not.

As apparent from Table 1, Examples 1 to 7 all have an aggregation rate of less than 1.0%, and the generation of particle aggregates of metal powder is suppressed. On the other hand, both Comparative Examples 1 and 2 have an aggregation rate of 1.0% or more, and a large amount of metal powder particle aggregates are generated.
In contrast to Example 1, Examples 2 and 3 are examples in which only the complexing agent is changed. In comparison, Examples 2 and 3 have increased aggregation rates. Therefore, it can be seen that sodium gluconate is superior as a complexing agent to malic acid and sodium citrate. Similarly, in contrast to Example 1, Example 4 is an example in which only the reducing agent is changed. In comparison, Example 4 has an increased aggregation rate. Therefore, it can be seen that titanium trichloride is superior to hydrazine as a reducing agent. In contrast to Example 1, Example 5 is an example in which only the pH adjusting agent is changed. In comparison, Example 5 has an increased aggregation rate. Therefore, it can be seen that sodium carbonate is superior to ammonia water as a pH adjuster.
更に、実施例1に対して、実施例6および7は金属化合物のみを変えた例であり、いずれも1.0%未満の凝集率の金属粉末を得ることができている。従って、少なくとも、金属種として塩化鉄を使用し、凝集率1.0%未満の鉄粉末を得ることが、本発明を適用することにより可能であることが判る。同様に、少なくとも、金属種として塩化コバルトを使用し、凝集率1.0%未満のコバルト粉末を得ることが、本発明を適用することにより可能であることが判る。 Furthermore, in contrast to Example 1, Examples 6 and 7 are examples in which only the metal compound is changed, and both can obtain a metal powder having an aggregation rate of less than 1.0%. Therefore, it can be seen that it is possible by using the present invention to obtain iron powder having an aggregation rate of less than 1.0% by using iron chloride as a metal species. Similarly, it can be seen that, by applying the present invention, it is possible to obtain cobalt powder having a coagulation rate of less than 1.0% by using cobalt chloride as a metal species.
本発明の活用例としては、卑金属粉末または卑金属を主成分とする合金粉末およびその製造方法、導電性ペースト、並びに積層セラミックコンデンサに関し、特に、積層セラミックコンデンサの内部電極に用いる導電性ペースト用の導電性微粉末として好適な卑金属粉末または卑金属を主成分とする合金粉末、その製造方法、およびそれを用いた導電性ペースト、並びに積層セラミックコンデンサが挙げられる。 Examples of use of the present invention relate to a base metal powder or a base metal-based alloy powder and a method for producing the same, a conductive paste, and a multilayer ceramic capacitor, and in particular, a conductive paste for a conductive paste used for an internal electrode of the multilayer ceramic capacitor. Base metal powder or alloy powder containing a base metal as a main component, a manufacturing method thereof, a conductive paste using the same, and a multilayer ceramic capacitor.
