内部に液化されたガスを貯蔵するとともに、船首尾方向に沿って配置され、かつ、スカートを介して船体に固定された複数個の球形タンクと、
これら球形タンクの上半部を覆うとともに、船首尾方向および船幅方向に沿って延びる一つの連続したタンクカバーと
前記船体の船底部に配置されたバラストタンクと、を備えた液化ガス運搬船であって、
前記タンクカバーが、前記船体に対して剛に結合され、前記船体と一体となって縦強度を確保する構造を有し、
前記バラストタンクは、前記船体の船側外板および船底外板に沿って、船首尾方向に配置された下部と、この下部の上面から鉛直上方に向かって延び、かつ、前記球形タンクの周方向に沿うとともに、前記球形タンクの底部上方を取り囲むように配置された上部と、を備え、
