Description
図1および図2を参照すると、自動体外除細動器(AED)10は、取り外し可能なカバー12および装置ハウジング14を含む。図2の場合には、除細動器10のカバー12は取り外してある。電極アセンブリ16(または一組の別々の電極)は、ケーブル18により装置ハウジング14に接続されている。除細動器を使用していない場合には、電極アセンブリ16はカバー12の下に内蔵される。
カバー12は、ロゴ31および一連のグラフィックス32、34および36を含むカバー・デカル30(図1)を含む。ロゴ31は、装置のメーカに関する情報を提供することができ、装置が、除細動器(例えば、Zoll Medical社が市販している半自動体外除細動器であることを示す図1に示す「ZOLL AED」)であるという情報を提供することができる。グラフィックス32、34および36は、緊急医療スタッフが到着するまで、緊急心臓介護用のAHAのAED治療アルゴリズム内に概略記載されている心臓蘇生シーケンスの最初の段階を通して介護者を導く。(「心肺蘇生および緊急心臓血管介護用のガイドライン2000:循環の付録(Guidelines 2000 for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. Supplement to Circulation)」、102巻、8号、2000年8月22日、I−67ページ参照。)それ故、介護者および患者を示すグラフィックス32は、例えば、患者を優しく揺さぶりながら、患者が大丈夫であるかどうかを尋ねることにより、患者の反応を最初にチェックすべきことを介護者に示す。次に、電話および緊急車両を示すグラフィックス34は、蘇生治療を行う前に緊急援助を要求すべきことを介護者に示す。最後に、グラフィックス36は、これらのステップを実行した後で、除細動器のカバー12を取り外し、蓋の下に位置する電極アセンブリ16を取り外し、ボタン15を押して電源をオンにすることを介護者に示す。グラフィックスは時計方向に配置されており、最初のステップは左上に表示されている。何故なら、この順序が大部分の介護者が直感的に辿る順序であるからである。しかし、この場合、介護者がステップを実行する順序は重要ではなく、それ故、説明を簡単にするために、ステップの順序の他の表示は示してない。
例えば、中央デカル上のグラフィックスに任意の所望の光源を取り付けることができる。例えば、そのようにすることを所望する場合、すべてのグラフィックスを半透明にして、バックライトで照明することができる。別の方法としては、グラフィックスをデカル上ではなく、LED映像の形で表示することもできる。
ある実施形態の場合には、通常、すべての画像で示すステップは、例えば、上記デカルが表示するように同時に表示される。このような配置により、介護者は次に行うステップを見ることができ、それ故、次のステップを予想し、可能な場合には早めにスタートすることができる。しかし、別の方法としては、例えば、一度に1つのグラフィックスを表示するか、またはバックライトで照明しなければ読むことができないグラフィックスをバックライトで照明するスクリーンにより、一度に1つのグラフィックスを表示することができる。この配置にすれば、ある場合には、新人または素人の救助者が手に負えない状態とならないですむ。何故なら、この場合には、介護者に同時にあまりに多くの情報は表示されないからである。
AEDのカバー12は、例えば、図11に示すデカル200のようなデカルをその下面に含むことができる。デカル200は、蘇生処置中、患者の気道を確保した状態に維持するための、受動的気道サポート装置としてのカバーの使用方法を示す。グラフィックス202は、介護者に患者を横に回転させ、患者の肩の下にカバー12を置くように喚起し、グラフィックス204は、気道を確実に確保しておくための患者の下のカバー12の正しい位置を表示する。
Claims (17)
- 患者を治療する際に介護者を補助するための装置であって、
患者を治療する際に介護者を補助するために、介護者に注意喚起を提供するように構成されたユーザ・インタフェースと、
治療を行っている際の介護者の処置の進行を検出するように構成された少なくとも2つのセンサであって、身体と電気的に接触している電極以外のものである少なくとも2つのセンサと、
複数の異なる注意喚起を格納しているメモリと、
前記センサにより検出された前記処置の進行に基づいて前記複数の異なる注意喚起のうちのどの注意喚起を提供するために選択すべきかを決定するように構成されたプロセッサとを備え、
前記治療がプロトコルの一連のステップを含み、前記少なくとも2つのセンサが、前記プロトコルの前記ステップのうちの少なくとも2つが成功裏に終了したかどうかを検出するように構成され、
前記プロセッサが、前記少なくとも2つのステップのうちのいずれか一つのステップが成功裏に終了しておらず、かつ処置の進行が所定のペースより遅い場合に、ユーザに提供するための注意喚起を選択する、装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記少なくとも2つのセンサは、治療を行っている際に介護者の処置の進行を検出するように構成され、前記少なくとも2つのセンサの各々が身体に接触している電極以外のものである、装置。

- 請求項3乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の装置において、前記装置が、1つまたは複数の心臓不全のための治療を行っている際に、介護者を補助するように構成されている、装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記装置が、1つまたは複数の心臓不全のための治療を行っている際に、介護者を補助するように構成されている、装置。
- 請求項11に記載の装置において、前記装置が、胸部圧迫を行っている際に介護者を補助するように構成されている、装置。
- 請求項11に記載の装置において、前記装置が、CPRを行っている際に介護者を補助するように構成されている、装置。
- 請求項11に記載の装置において、前記装置が、心臓に電気刺激を与えている際に介護者を補助するように構成されている、装置。
- 請求項14に記載の装置において、前記電気刺激が細動除去を含む、装置。
- 請求項14に記載の装置において、前記電気刺激がペーシングを含む、装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記装置が、
除細動器と、
患者の心拍リズムを示し、また患者に前記電極が適切に設置されたかどうかを示すデータを取得し、適当と思われる場合には細動除去ショックを与えるように構成されている電極とを備える、装置。
