Description
スチーム改質反応は、スチームとメタンとを混合させ、この混合物を高温で適当な触媒と接触させることにより、スチームとメタンとを反応させて一酸化炭素および水素を形成することにより行われる。改質反応器内の温度は、一般に、入口での約450℃から出口での約800−850℃まで上昇する。スチーム改質反応は吸熱反応であり、熱は、例えば空気と混合された炭化水素および水素の触媒燃焼により供給される。燃焼は、改質反応器内の隣接フローチャネル(流体通路、流れ通路)内の燃焼触媒上で行われる。
Claims (8)
- 交互に配置された多数の第一および第二フローチャネルが形成されており、第一フローチャネルが、10mmを超えない横方向寸法を有し、燃焼反応体の流路を形成し、反応体の燃焼に触媒作用する着脱可能な流体透過性触媒構造を収容し、かつ少なくとも1つの反応体用の少なくとも1つの入口を有し、第二フローチャネルが、改質反応用の触媒を収容する構成の、スチーム/メタン改質のためのコンパクトな触媒作用反応器において、
各第一フローチャネルは、それぞれの入口に隣接する部分に箔インサートを収容し、該インサートは燃焼反応に触媒作用をせず、前記入口に供給されるガスは燃焼可能であり、触媒作用をしないインサートは、入口に隣接する第一フローチャネルの部分を所定のパラメータより小さい多数の小さい流路に細分し、前記所定のパラメータは炎伝播を防止する最大ギャップサイズであることを特徴とする、スチーム/メタン改質のための触媒作用反応器。 - 前記触媒作用をしないインサートは、アルミナリッチ表面コーティングまたは触媒作用する酸化膜を形成しない材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の反応器。
- 前記触媒作用をしないインサートの温度を、第一フローチャネル内の燃焼触媒の温度より低い温度に維持する熱交換手段が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の反応器。
- 前記第一フローチャネルの入口に供給されるガスは燃焼可能でありかつヘッダを通して多数の入口に供給され、前記触媒作用をしないインサートは入口に隣接するヘッダ内に配置されかつ入口に連通する多数の小さい流路を形成し、該流路は、前記所定のパラメータである炎伝播を防止する最大ギャップサイズより小さいことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項記載の反応器。
- 前記入口に供給されるガスは燃焼ガス混合物のごく一部であり、反応器には他の反応体を第一フローチャネル内に直接供給する孔が形成され、触媒作用をしないインサートは、噴射された反応体を、入口を通って流入する反応体と完全に混合させる形状を有していることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の反応器。
- 第一フローチャネル内のガス混合物の燃料/空気比が、第一フローチャネルの全長に亘って、化学量論値より充分に小さくなるように、反応体は第一フローチャネルに沿う異なる位置の段内の第一フローチャネルに添加され、触媒構造により形成される流路は、炎伝播を防止すべく充分に小さいことを特徴とする請求項5記載の反応器。
- 各第一フローチャネルは、完全混合をもたらす、触媒作用をしない第一インサートと、層流の促進および炎伝播の抑制の両方を行う小さいチャネルを形成する、触媒作用をしない第二インサートとの両方を収容し、触媒作用をしない第二インサートは、触媒作用をしない第一インサートと燃焼の触媒作用をする触媒構造との間に配置されることを特徴とする請求項5または6記載の反応器。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項記載の反応器が組み込まれていることを特徴とする、スチーム/メタン改質反応を行うプラント。
