Description
本願では、送電に先立ち電磁的結合が形成されるアンテナの結合面の水滴を除去することにより電磁的結合が行われる空間から水滴を除去することができる。これにより、水分子の誘電分極に消費されてしまう電磁的エネルギーが送電電力に充てられることとなる。結果として送電効率を向上させることができる。
例えば、水滴の除去動作は、その方法に応じて送電側アンテナ11の結合面11Aに適用するものと受電側アンテナ21の結合面21Aに適用するもので分けて記載したが、本発明の趣旨からすればこれに限定されるものではないことは言うまでもない。たとえば、温風の吹付けによる乾燥では、実施形態では、車両2に備えられているブロア装置41を使用する構成を説明したが、送電エリア1あるいは送電装置10にブロア装置を備えれば、送電側アンテナ11の結合面11Aに対しても同様に適用することができる。
また、ブロア装置41から送り出される風は温風に限らず、常温の風であっても水滴は乾燥除去することができる。
また、送電側アンテナ11において、アンテナを支持する支持体30に駆動回路12Aのモジュールを設置してやれば、送電時に駆動回路12Aから回路動作に応じて発せられるスイッチング損失等の熱損失により支持体30に熱が加えられる。これにより、送電側アンテナ11の結合面11Aに付着している水滴を乾燥除去することができる。
尚、水滴を除去する手段としては、この他にも以下に例示する構成が考えられる。例えば、結合面11A,21Aの表面に撥水性材料をコーティングすることで水分の付着を除去することができる。ここで、撥水性材料とは、テフロン(登録商標)等のフッ素系高分子などが適用できる。また、結合面11A、21Aの表面構造を微細なフラクタル形状とすることで、水滴の付着を防止することができる。あるいは微細な柱状形状を形成することでもよい。例えば、垂直配向したカーボンナノチューブ膜などで構成することができる。

Claims (2)
- 電気エネルギーを動力源として利用する車両に対して非接触状態で送電を行う非接触送電システムであって、
前記車両に搭載され、電磁的結合により受電する受電側アンテナと、
前記受電側アンテナに対して前記電磁的結合により送電する送電側アンテナと、
前記送電側アンテナから前記受電側アンテナへの送電効率が最大となる共振周波数で、交流電力を前記送電側アンテナに供給する交流電力ドライバと、
前記送電側アンテナまたは前記受電側アンテナの少なくとも何れか一方の、前記電磁的結合が形成される結合面への水滴の付着を抑制する水滴除去手段とを備え、
前記水滴除去手段は、
送電動作に先立ち前記結合面に付着する水滴を検知する水滴検知手段と、
前記水滴検知手段による水滴の検知に応じて、前記結合面への熱供給により前記水滴を乾燥させる加熱手段とを備え、
前記加熱手段は、
前記共振周波数とは異なる周波数で前記交流電力ドライバを駆動する非共振動作手段を備えることを特徴とする非接触送電システム。 - 電気エネルギーを動力源として利用する車両に対して非接触状態で送電を行う非接触送電装置であって、
前記車両に搭載される受電側アンテナに対して電磁的結合により送電する送電側アンテナと、
前記送電側アンテナから前記受電側アンテナへの送電効率が最大となる共振周波数で、交流電力を前記送電側アンテナに供給する交流電力ドライバと、
前記送電側アンテナの前記電磁的結合が形成される結合面への水滴の付着を抑制する水滴除去手段とを備え、
前記水滴除去手段は、
送電動作に先立ち前記結合面に付着する水滴を検知する水滴検知手段と、
前記水滴検知手段による水滴の検知に応じて、前記結合面への熱供給により前記水滴を乾燥させる加熱手段とを備え、
前記加熱手段は、
前記共振周波数とは異なる周波数で前記交流電力ドライバを駆動する非共振動作手段を備えることを特徴とする非接触送電装置。
