Claims (20)
- コンピューターにより実現される会議システムにおいて、
プログラムを記憶する記憶デバイスと、
前記プログラムにアクセスして実行する処理ユニットと、
を備え、前記処理ユニットが前記プログラムを実行すると、前記会議システムは、クライアントによって提示された会議セッションの設定要求に応答して会議コントロールコンポーネントを提供するように構成され、前記会議コントロールコンポーネントは、
前記クライアントから前記会議セッションの設定要求を受信して、前記会議セッションを作成し、
前記要求を受信して前記会議セッションを作成した後に、前記クライアントに前記会議セッションの媒体を提供する分散媒体コンポーネントを、前記会議セッションに割り当て、
前記分散媒体コンポーネントを前記会議セッションに割り当てた後、前記分散媒体コンポーネントのユニフォームリソース識別子を前記クライアントに返し、
複数のクライアントによる前記会議セッションへの参加を受け入れ、

- 前記会議コントロールコンポーネントは、前記分散媒体コンポーネントを前記会議セッションに割り当てる、割り当てコンポーネントを提供することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。

前記要求を受信した後に、前記セッション参加者による媒体アクセスのための分散マルチポイント・コントロール・ユニット(MCU)の可用性を判断するステップと、
前記分散MCUの可用性を判断した後に、前記セッション参加者によるセッションアクセスのために、前記分散MCUのうち利用可能なMCUを前記会議セッションに割り当てるステップと、
前記利用可能なMCUを前記会議セッションに割り当てた後に、前記利用可能なMCUのユニフォームリソース識別子(URI)を前記セッション参加者に返すステップと、
複数のクライアントによる前記会議セッションへの参加を受け入れるステップと、
前記参加したクライアントに前記会議セッションに関連する状態の変更を通知するステップと、
前記会議セッションへの参加者のアクセスを認証するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記会議セッションの状態情報をデータベース内に動的に保持するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記分散MCUのうち前記会議セッションに割り当てられた各MCUについて個々の状態情報を受信するステップと、
前記個々の状態情報を集約することによって、集約された状態情報を生成するステップと、
前記集約された状態情報を前記会議セッションの前記参加したクライアントの各々に分散するステップと
をさらに含み、前記通知するステップは、前記個々の状態情報のいずれかにおける変更を前記会議セッションに関連する状態の変更として通知することを含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。 - セッション参加者の変更に基づいてセッション名簿を更新するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- URIアドレスを前記分散MCUのそれぞれに関連付けるステップであって、前記セッション参加者が、前記分散MCUの1つを介して前記会議セッションにアクセスするステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記要求は、セッション開始プロトコル(SIP)要求であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
