Description

Claims (12)
- 原子炉用の燃料バンドルであって、
少なくとも1つがマルチセグメント棒である複数の棒であって、その各々のマルチセグメント棒が、
その軸方向に離脱可能に互いに合体する棒セグメント対からなる複数の棒セグメントであって、その棒セグメントは各々が被覆されることにより、前記軸方向に合体されたときに前記軸方向の連続被覆管を形成するような連続マルチセグメント棒を形成するべく構成され、その少なくとも1つの棒セグメントが照射ターゲットを含まないアダプタ部分組立体となるように構成された、複数の棒セグメントと、
棒セグメント内の少なくとも1つの照射ターゲット、
とを有するような複数の棒と、
各スペーサが、他のスペーサから前記軸方向に離間し、且つ、前記マルチセグメント棒の軸長に沿って1つのアダプタ部分組立体にのみ接するように構成されたスペーサを含む複数のスペーサ、
とを具備し、
前記少なくとも1つの棒セグメントは、少なくとも1つの容器組立体を内部に収納し、この容器組立体が、
第1の端部と、
第2の端部と、
前記少なくとも1つの照射ターゲットと、
前記第1と第2の端部の少なくとも1つに装着し、前記容器組立体の内部の照射ターゲットをシールするように構成された端部キャップと、
を含むこと、
を特徴とする原子炉用燃料バンドル。 - 前記少なくとも1つの照射ターゲットは核燃料を含まないことを特徴とする請求項1の原子炉用燃料バンドル。
- 前記少なくとも1つの照射ターゲットの他の照射ターゲットは核燃料を含むことを特徴とする請求項2の原子炉用燃料バンドル。
- 前記少なくとも1つの照射ターゲットは原子番号3よりも大きいアイソトープであることを特徴とする請求項1の原子炉用燃料バンドル。
- 前記少なくとも1つの棒セグメントは複数の照射ターゲットを含むことを特徴とする請求項1の原子炉用燃料バンドル。
- 前記容器組立体は、その内部にある照射ターゲットを示す外部指標を有することを特徴とする請求項1の原子炉用燃料バンドル。
- 前記容器組立体とこの前記容器組立体を含むシールされて照射ターゲットのための二重容器を提供することを特徴とする請求項1の原子炉用燃料バンドル。
- 前記棒セグメントは、アダプタのプラグと受容体と、ネジとねじ切りされた開口と、舌部と受容体ととにより解離可能に合体されていることを特徴とする請求項1の原子炉用燃料バンドル。
- 前記照射ターゲットは中性子線に照射されるとコバルト60に変わるコバルト59であることを特徴とする請求項1の原子炉用燃料バンドル。
- 燃料バンドルの製造方法であって、
少なくとも1つの棒がマルチセグメント棒であるような複数の棒を形成する工程であって、この工程が、
複数の棒セグメントの少なくとも1つのセグメントの中に少なくとも1つの照射ターゲットを載置する工程と、
各々が被覆された前記複数の棒セグメントを互いに軸方向に合体させて、前記軸方向に合体されたときに前記軸方向の連続被覆管を形成するような連続マルチセグメント棒を形成するべく構成され、その少なくとも1つの棒セグメントが照射ターゲットを含まないアダプタ部分組立体となるように前記複数の棒セグメントを互い合体させる工程、
とを有する複数の棒を形成する工程と、
複数のスペーサと前記複数の棒を含む燃料バンドルを、前記複数のバンドルを前記複数のスペーサ内に載置することにより燃料バンドルを形成する工程であって、前記スペーサの各々が前記マルチセグメント棒の軸長に沿って1つのアダプタ部分組立体にのみ接するように、前記燃料バンドルを形成する工程、
とを具備し、
前記少なくとも1つの照射ターゲットを載置する工程は、
前記少なくとも1つの照射ターゲットを、第1の端部と第2の端部と前記少なくとも1つの照射ターゲットとを含む少なくとも1つの容器組立体内に載置する工程と、
前記少なくとも1つの照射ターゲットを前記容器組立体の内部で、前記第1と第2の端部の少なくとも1つに適合するように構成された末端キャップでシールをする工程と、
前記少なくとも1つの容器組立体を前記複数の棒セグメントの少なくとも1つの内部に載置する工程、
とを具備すること
を特徴とする燃料バンドル製造方法。 - さらに、
前記容器組立体上に、前記少なくとも1つの照射ターゲットがその中に含まれていることを示す外部指標を提供することを特徴とする請求項10の燃料バンドルの製造方法。 - 前記合体する工程は、アダプタのプラグと受容体との合体、或いはネジとネジを切られた開口と、舌片と受容体とを合体させる工程の少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項10の燃料バンドルの製造方法。
