Claims (8)
- 方法であって、
送信されたチャネル品質表示に関連するソフトシンボルメトリックを受信するステップ、
該受信されたソフトシンボルメトリックから複数ビットチャネル品質表示ワードを検出するステップ、及び
該複数ビットチャネル品質表示ワードについて、最も送信された可能性が高いチャネル品質表示ビットを該受信したソフトシンボルメトリックから各ビットについて判定すると共に、該判定された最も送信された可能性が高いチャネル品質表示ビットの各々に関連する信頼性を該受信したソフトシンボルメトリックから各ビットについて判定するステップであって、該送信されたチャネル品質表示に関連する該受信されたソフトシンボルメトリックが複数のメトリックに変換され、該メトリックの各々が異なるチャネル品質ワードに関連し、該複数ビットチャネル品質表示ワードのビットの各々が該メトリックの各々に基づいて決定される、ステップからなる方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、最も送信された可能性が高いチャネル品質表示ビットの各々に関連する該信頼性と該複数ビットチャネル品質表示ワードの各々のビットの重要性とに基づいて該複数ビットチャネル品質表示ワードを使用するべきか否かを決定するステップをさらに含む方法。
- 請求項2記載の方法において、
該複数ビットチャネル品質表示ワードを使用するか否かを決定する際に、より低い重要性のビットの信頼性に対してよりも、より高い重要性のビットの信頼性に対してより大きな重みが与えられる方法。 - 装置であって、
送信されたチャネル品質表示に関連するソフトシンボルメトリックを受信する受信手段、
該受信されたソフトシンボルメトリックから複数ビットチャネル品質表示ワードを検出する検出手段、及び
該複数ビットチャネル品質表示ワードについて、最も送信された可能性が高いチャネル品質表示ビットを該受信したソフトシンボルメトリックから各ビットについて判定すると共に、該判定された最も送信された可能性が高いチャネル品質表示ビットの各々に関連する信頼性を該受信したソフトシンボルメトリックから各ビットについて判定する手段であって、該送信されたチャネル品質表示に関連する該受信されたソフトシンボルメトリックが複数のメトリックに変換され、該メトリックの各々が異なるチャネル品質ワードに関連し、該複数ビットチャネル品質表示ワードの各々のビットが該メトリックの各々に基づいて決定される、手段からなる装置。 - 請求項5記載の装置において、
最も送信された可能性が高いチャネル品質表示ビットの各々に関連する該信頼性と該複数ビットチャネル品質表示ワードの中の各々のビットの重要性とに基づいて該複数ビットチャネル品質表示ワードを使用するべきか否かを決定する手段をさらに含む装置。 - 請求項6記載の装置において、該複数ビットチャネル品質表示ワードを使用するか否かを決定する際に、より低い重要性のビットの信頼性に対してよりも、より高い重要性のビットの信頼性に対してより大きな重みが与えられる装置。
