Claims (4)
- それぞれその装填端から熔融端へと固体インクスティックを移送する1本又は複数本の固体インク送給チャネルと、前記固体インク送給チャネル毎に設けられた固体インク熔融アセンブリと、を備え、
各固体インク熔融アセンブリが、
頂部に受け口を有した囲いと、
前記囲いの底部に設けられた熔融インクの出口と、
前記囲いの受け口の近傍から前記囲いの出口の間に延びる複数の熔融インク流と、
を備え、
前記複数の熔融インク流は、
前記受け口・出口間に位置するよう前記囲いの内側に配置された孔開きのストッパを通りぬけて、前記受け口・出口間の開口を通りぬける内部流と、
前記囲いの壁を通りぬけて、前記囲いの内部から前記囲いの外部に延びる1以上の内外流と、
を備え、
前記インク熔融アセンブリは、前記囲いを前記相変化インク熔融温度に加熱するヒータを備える、
相変化インク送給システム。 - 請求項1記載の相変化インク送給システムであって、各固体インク熔融アセンブリが、前記囲いの出口を経由した熔融インクを受け入れるリザーバと、その設置先のリザーバを前記相変化インクの熔融温度に加熱するヒータと、を有する相変化インク送給システム。
- 請求項1記載の相変化インク送給システムであって、前記1以上の送給チャネルは、4つの送給チャネルを含み、各前記4つの送給チャネルは、互いに異なるインク色に対応し、対応するインクスティックの形状に対し少なくとも部分的に相補的な形状の装填口を有する相変化インク送給システム。
- 請求項1記載の相変化インク送給システムであって、前記受け口・出口間に位置する前記ストッパの孔が、固体インク送給方向に対し前記熔融インクが通過できる所定の角度に傾斜した柵又は格子状の開口である相変化インク送給システム。
