Description

In the present invention, a sheet-like product in which an adhesive layer for adhering to the surface of an adherend is formed on at least one surface of a sheet-like substrate (in the present specification, such a sheet-like product is referred to as an “adhesive sheet”). More particularly, the present invention relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet configured to exhibit pressure-sensitive adhesiveness by impregnating with water, although the bonding surface to be bonded to the adherend is not normally sticky.

The “sheet” in the present specification is a concept including a so-called “film” generally provided in the form of a roll.

Conventional technology

Floppy disk and videotape cases, labels and stickers affixed to product packaging, etc. For the purpose of interior decoration, wallpaper and paper paste affixed to walls, ceilings, doors, sliding doors, etc. Printed sheets to be attached to signboards, store windows, etc., and other sheet materials, for example, these sheet materials are used as a base material, and an adhesive layer is provided at least on one side to form an adhesive sheet. Things exist.

As an example, wallpaper will be described as an example of the above-mentioned pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet. Conventional wallpaper has been generally applied to the wall or ceiling by applying an emulsion-based paste on the back, In order to reduce the complexity of such an adhesive application operation, an adhesive layer having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed by previously applying a pressure-sensitive adhesive to the adhesive surface is used.

As an example of wallpaper having such an adhesive layer, an adhesive layer is formed on the back side of a sheet-like substrate made of paper, woven fabric, nonwoven fabric, etc., and this adhesive layer is covered with release paper Or by applying a re-moistening paste that exhibits adhesiveness by impregnating moisture on the backside of the wallpaper, and wetting the coated surface with water before sticking it to the wall or ceiling surface, There is a wallpaper that can be attached.

Problems to be solved by the invention

Among the above-mentioned conventional wallpaper, the wallpaper in which the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on one side of the substrate is coated with release paper has the advantage that the adhesiveness can be obtained immediately by peeling the release paper. Further, it takes time and effort to peel off the release paper at the time of the work, and the release paper after the release is scattered at the work site, and there is also the trouble that it must be collected and discarded. In particular, the release paper is made by applying and impregnating a paper or the like with a silicon resin or the like for the purpose of improving the peelability, so that the impregnated silicon resin can be regenerated by the same method as ordinary waste paper or the like. Since it is not possible, it is not preferable that such release paper is generated as waste from the viewpoint of effective use of resources, and it is desirable not to use such release paper that is difficult to reuse as much as possible.

In addition, once the release sheet is peeled off, the adhesive sheet is inconvenient to handle because of its adhesiveness, and the adhesive layer exposed by peeling the release paper permanently adheres the wallpaper to the wall surface. Therefore, the adhesive strength is strong, and once attached to the wall surface, it is difficult to reattach.

For this reason, it is difficult to correct the wallpaper when the wallpaper is bent at the time of sticking, when air bubbles are embraced between the wall surface and the wallpaper, or when the paper is stuck in a wrinkled state.

On the other hand, in the case of wallpaper with rewet, the adhesiveness is restored by applying water to the rewet, and the adhesive strength is relatively weak while the adhesive layer contains a large amount of moisture. Although it is easy to handle for a while after sticking, it is easy to handle, but depending on how to apply water, unevenness in the adhesive strength can be produced. Therefore, in order to apply water uniformly and relatively easily on such wallpaper, a dedicated instrument is required.

In addition, since the re-wet paste is water-soluble, it dissolves when it contains water again, and its adhesive strength weakens. For example, in the winter season, when condensation or the like occurs where water droplets adhere to the wall surface, the adhesive layer There is a risk that the adhesive strength of the paper will weaken and the wallpaper will peel off from this area.

Note that the initial adhesive force is weakened by forming the adhesive surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in a net shape and reducing the contact area with the wall surface, etc. so that the wallpaper once adhered can be reworked. There is also a decorative sheet provided with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer configured to exert a strong adhesive force when the pressure-sensitive adhesive is pressed strongly against the surface of the adherend so that the pressure-sensitive adhesive in the mesh portion comes into contact with the adherend (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2005-318867). 2001-80018).

In the case of this decorative sheet, the convenience of the pasting work has been improved in that the pasted wallpaper can be pasted again, but in order to protect the adhesive layer even in the wallpaper configured in this way. Since the release paper is necessary, the trouble of peeling the release paper is complicated as in the above-described prior art, and the release paper after peeling is generated as dust.

Therefore, the present invention has been made to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art, and not only does not require the use of release paper, thus eliminating the need to remove the release paper, but also the release paper after peeling is generated as dust. It is intended to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet that can be easily re-attached, has good workability and handleability, and adheres firmly after sticking and does not peel off due to moisture absorption or moisture content. .

In the description of the prior art, the wallpaper has been described as an example of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet. However, the application field of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention is not limited to the above-described wallpaper, and can be applied to various other pressure-sensitive adhesive sheets. Some points are as described above.

Means for solving the problem

[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 of the present invention is provided with a water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 11 having a thickness of 10 to 100 μm on at least one surface of a substrate 10 and the surface of the water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 11. the entire surface, not have a tackiness in a normal state, become coated with a water-soluble adhesive layer 12 having a thickness of 1~50μm having tackiness with softened when hydrated, the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer at the time of moisture 12 The adhesive strength that can be temporarily attached to the adherend that occurs in the adhesive is made weaker than the adhesive strength of the water-insoluble adhesive layer 11, and the water-insoluble adhesive layer 11 is attached to the adherend 20 by water content during the temporary attachment. It does not contact the surface (Claim 1).

The water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12 can use various known water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesives, such as polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene oxide, polyvinyl amide, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polyvinyl acetal, polyacrylic acid, and cellulose. This can be formed with any one of a resin-based adhesive, gum arabic, gelatin-based, or starch-based adhesive (Claim 2).

Further, when the substrate 10 is a plastic sheet such as PET, the substrate 10 is provided on the surface opposite to the surface on which the water-insoluble adhesive layer 11 is formed in order to impart printability. The ink receiving layer 14 can also be formed by applying and drying a paint comprising 50 to 200 parts by weight of a filler having a particle size of 0.01 to 10 μm per 100 parts by weight of the resin. .

Further, when the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 uses a plastic sheet as the base material 10, it is preferable to form through holes 15 penetrating between both surfaces at predetermined intervals (Claim 4).

In the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 in which the above-described through-holes 15 are formed, it is preferable to smooth the surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 after the formation of the through-holes 15 (Claim 5). When the surface of the ink receiving layer 14 made of 10 or the above-mentioned resin coating is flattened, for example, it is smoothed by applying a heat calender roll at a temperature lower than the plastic temperature of these resin materials.

In addition, the filler added to the resin coating material which comprises the above-mentioned ink receiving layer 14 can use any 1 or more types of a silica, an alumina oxide, and a calcium carbonate (Claim 6).

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[Basic configuration]
As shown in FIG. 1, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 of the present invention covers a water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 11 formed on at least one surface of a substrate 10 and the surface of the water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 11. A water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12 that is non-tacky and dissolves by contact with water to exhibit tackiness is formed, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 has a pressure-sensitive adhesive surface 13 that does not exhibit tackiness in a normal state.

Since the surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 thus obtained is normally non-sticky, it has excellent storage and handling properties, and is also provided with a release paper on the surface for the purpose of preventing dust from adhering to the pressure-sensitive adhesive surface 13 and preventing blocking. There is no need to stick a protective film or protective film.

In the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 of the present invention provided with the water-soluble resin coating 12, the surface of the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12 or the surface of the adherend is wetted with water when this is adhered to the surface of the adherend. Thus, the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12 contains water and exhibits adhesiveness, which can be attached to the adherend 20 (see FIG. 2).

In this way, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 adhered to the surface of the adherend 20 by the pressure-sensitive adhesive force of the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12 has a relatively weak pressure-sensitive adhesive force of the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12, so When reattachment is necessary, such as when air is held between kimonos, when the adhesive seal is attached with wrinkles, or when it cannot be attached to the correct position Can be easily peeled off and re-applied to an appropriate position or state.

Thereafter, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 is pressed against the adherend 20 from the substrate 10 side with a roller 30 or the like as shown in FIG. 3, for example, so that the water-soluble adhesive softened with moisture is pushed away. When the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 11 directly contacts the surface of the adherend 20, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 can be permanently attached to the surface of the adherend 20 by the strong adhesive force of the water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 11. Yes (see FIG. 3).

The water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12 can be impregnated with water by directly immersing the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 in water, or by spraying water on the surface of the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12 by spraying, Water may be applied with an included roller, cloth, brush, or the like, or water may be adhered to the surface of the adherend 20 in contact with the water-soluble adhesive layer 12 by a similar method.

In addition, by adjusting the amount of water impregnated in the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12, the degree of exposure of the water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 11 formed in the lower layer is varied, thereby increasing the adhesive strength of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1. It can also be adjusted.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 adhered to the surface of the adherend 20 as described above is covered with the water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 11 having a stronger adhesive strength and water-insoluble than the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12. Since the adhesive sheet 1 is adhered to the surface of the adherend 20, the adhesive sheet 1 is not peeled off from the surface of the adherend 20 even when the adhesive sheet 1 absorbs moisture or is hydrated. The wearing state can be maintained.

When the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 of the present invention is used as a label or the like, a PET-based plastic sheet or the like often used as the label material can be used as the base material 10, but such a plastic sheet is generally used. In addition, since the gas barrier property is higher than that of paper, when the adherend 20 is similarly a glass, resin surface, etc. having a high gas barrier, it is easy to entrap air between the surface of the adherend 20 and the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1. In addition to the lack of beauty, the air entrained, the outgas from the adherend 20, the thermal expansion of the substrate 10, and the like are combined, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 tends to swell and peel off.

Therefore, it is preferable that the base material 10 and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layers 11 and 12 of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 are provided with air permeability. As a method for imparting air permeability, when the plastic sheet as the base material is a stretched polyester or stretched polypropylene film, the raw material resin of the base material 10 has a particle size of 10 μm or less such as silica, aluminum oxide, calcium carbonate, etc. After the filler is added, the filler may be dropped during stretching to form a through hole at the position where the filler has been dropped, or a through hole may be formed in the substrate with a needle or the like to provide air permeability. The through holes can be formed by various known methods.

Further, for example, in the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 used as a label or the like attached to a product packaging, the surface of the substrate needs to be printable, and in particular, this printing has become widespread in recent years. It is preferable that it can be easily performed by a printer or a copier. From such a viewpoint, when a plastic sheet is used as the base material of the pressure-sensitive adhesive film 1 of the present invention, the base material 10 to which a filler such as silica, aluminum oxide, calcium carbonate or the like is added, or these fillers are used. It is preferable to improve the printability by, for example, applying a resin coating to which is added to the surface of the substrate 10.

In this embodiment, when a plastic sheet is used as the substrate 10, the following processing is performed so that the adhesive sheet 1 can have both printability and air permeability. .

First, as shown in FIG. 4, a filler such as silica, aluminum oxide, or calcium carbonate having a particle size of 10 μm or less is added to 100 parts by weight of the resin as the ink receiving layer 14 on the surface of the base material 10 such as a PET film. The paint blended at 50 to 200 parts by weight is applied and dried so that the thickness after drying is 4 to 15 μm, and printability is imparted.

In this way, in order to impart air permeability to the adhesive film 1 having the ink receiving layer 14 formed on the surface, a roll (needle roll) in which needles are implanted at a pitch of about 2 mm is provided on the surface of the receiving layer 14. The through-hole 15 penetrating between both surfaces of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 is formed by contact and rotation in a troublesome manner (see FIG. 5). The formation pattern of the through holes 15 can be a regular shape, a staggered shape, or other various shapes.

Thus, the adhesive film 1 in which the through-hole 15 was formed smooth | blunts the surface further below the plastic temperature of resin which comprises the base material 10 and the ink receiving layer 14 with a heat | fever calendar roll (refer FIG. 6). .

Plastic sheets such as stretched polyester, stretched PP, and PET mentioned above, which are general label substrates, tend to peel off when the ink is printed directly on the surface. Therefore, at the same time as printing, a transparent film such as OPP is used. However, by forming the ink receiving layer 14 on the base material 10 as described above, the base material 1 made of a material unsuitable for ink such as a PET sheet is formed. Even if it is used, it can be applied to water-based inks like paper, and can be printed by a widely used printer or the like, and an overlay film for preventing ink from peeling off becomes unnecessary.

In addition, even when there is generation of outgas from the adherend 20 or air entrapment between the adhesive sheet 1 and the adherend 20 due to the formation of the through-hole 15, these are passed through the through-hole 15. Therefore, the appearance after sticking is beautiful and the adhesive sheet 1 is not likely to peel off.

〔Example〕
Next, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described below.

In this embodiment, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 is made of paper, fabric, or the like as a base material, and a water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 11 is formed on one surface thereof. It is covered with the agent layer 12, and is used as a decorative sheet such as wallpaper or paper to be attached to a wall surface or a ceiling board for the purpose of interior decoration.

In FIG. 7, the decorative sheet 1 (adhesive sheet 1) of the present invention is provided with a decorative layer 17 for a decorative effect on one side (upper side in FIG. 7) of the base material 10 as necessary, and the other side. It is weaker than the water-insoluble adhesive layer 11 that covers the surface of the water-insoluble adhesive layer 11 that enables permanent adhesion to the adherend 20 such as a wall surface (lower side in FIG. 7). It has a layer structure in which a water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12 that generates an adhesive force is provided in order.

Examples of the material of the base material 10 include paper such as thin paper, titanium paper, resin-impregnated paper, paper-reinforced paper, woven fabric, non-woven fabric, polyolefin, polyester, polyacryl, polyamide, polyvinyl chloride, and ethylene. -One type or two or more types of laminates such as vinyl acetate copolymer, synthetic resin sheet such as saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer can be mentioned, and considering that it can be used as wallpaper. Backing paper for regular wallpaper such as pulp-based flame retardant paper impregnated with water-soluble flame retardants such as sulfanylguanazine and guanidine phosphate, or inorganic paper mixed with inorganic agents such as aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide What is said can be used.

In addition, when using the above-mentioned synthetic resin sheet as a base material, aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, calcium carbonate, barium carbonate, antimony trioxide, oxidation are provided to impart flame retardancy as necessary. An inorganic filler made of a mixture of one or more inorganic materials such as titanium may be appropriately added. The thickness of this substrate is preferably 20 to 300 μm.

Examples of the material for the water-insoluble adhesive layer include rubbers such as natural rubber, styrene-butadiene latex, styrene-isoprene block copolymer, recycled rubber, and synthetic rubber, acrylic, urethane, and silicone. In addition, as a material of the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), polyethylene oxide that exhibits water-soluble resin and exhibits adhesiveness by containing water can be used. And known resin materials such as cellulose resin systems such as cellulose, polyvinyl aluminide, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polyvinyl acetal, polyacrylic acid, gelatin, gum arabic, and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) can be used. , These pressure sensitive adhesives, if necessary, thickeners, dispersants, antifoaming agents, fillers, Antistatic agents, may be added an additive such as a preservative.

These pressure-sensitive adhesives are applied in a solvent-type, water-emulsion-type, hot-melt-type, liquid-curing-type, or the like by a known coating method such as a roll coating method, gravure printing method, melt extrusion method, etc. An agent layer and a water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer are formed.

The coating thickness of the water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is 10 to 100 μm, more preferably 20 to 50 μm. The coating thickness of the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is 1 to 50 μm, more preferably 2 to 25 μm.

Further, the decorative layer 17 is provided as necessary for the purpose of enhancing the interior decoration effect when the wallpaper as the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 is attached to a wall surface or the like. When using as a base material, it is not necessarily provided.

Examples of the decorative layer 17 include a printed pattern layer such as a wood grain pattern, a foam layer that gives a volume feeling and a three-dimensional feeling, or surface physical properties such as scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance on the surface of the decorative sheet. As the constituent elements, a surface protective layer for imparting a surface roughness, a concavo-convex pattern formed using an embossed plate, and the like can be mentioned as appropriate, and these can be formed by appropriately combining them.

As for the wallpaper which is the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 of the present invention formed as described above, when the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12 contains water, the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12 regains its adhesiveness and adheres to the wall surface. It becomes possible.

The adhesive force generated in the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12 impregnated with water is weaker than the adhesive force of the water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 11 in the lower layer, and once the wallpaper is applied to the adherend 20 such as a wall surface or ceiling surface. Even when pasted, the wallpaper can be peeled off, and therefore the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a role of enabling temporary pasting before determining the position of the wallpaper. Therefore, even if a person unfamiliar with wallpaper pasting work performs the sticking work, it can be neatly pasted, and the work does not require skill.

And when the wallpaper sticking position is adjusted and the wallpaper sticking position is determined, it is applied to the water-soluble adhesive layer 12 by applying pressure from the decorative layer 17 side toward the wall or ceiling plate using a pressure roller or the like. The covered water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 11 pushes away the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12 and comes into contact with the surface of the adherend 20 such as a wall surface or a ceiling board, and adherends such as walls and ceiling boards with a stronger adhesive force. Affixed to the surface.

[Test example]
About the comparative example of the wallpaper demonstrated above and the conventional wallpaper, the result of having done the comparative test about the workability | operativity of sticking and the adhesive strength after sticking is shown below.

Application Example 1
First, a water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive (“SK Dyne 1551S” manufactured by Soken Chemical Co., Ltd.) is applied directly to one side of a substrate by a roll coating method so as to have a thickness after drying of 30 μm or by transfer onto a process paper. And then drying to form a water-insoluble adhesive layer 11, and then applying and drying PVA by a roll coat method so that the thickness after drying on the process paper is 10 μm, followed by the above process. It transferred on the formed water-insoluble adhesive layer 11, formed the water-soluble adhesive layer 12, and obtained the wallpaper which is the adhesive sheet 1 of this invention.

Comparative Example 1
Roll-coating method on the silicone coated surface of the release paper so that the thickness after drying is the same as the water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive of the above-mentioned Example 1 (SK Dyne Well 1717 manufactured by Soken Chemical Co., Ltd.). Then, the water-insoluble adhesive-coated surface of the release paper coated with the water-insoluble adhesive was adhered to one side of the substrate to obtain a wallpaper which was a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet with release paper.

Comparative Example 2
A water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive (PVA) is applied to the silicone-coated surface of the release paper by a roll coating method so that the thickness after drying is 30 μm, and the water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive of the release paper coated with this water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive Wallpaper is a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet in which a water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is formed on one side of a substrate after the coated surface is adhered to one side of the substrate before the adhesive disappears, and then dried to eliminate the adhesion. Got.

The workability and adhesiveness when the wallpaper of Example 1 of the present application manufactured as described above and the wallpaper of Comparative Example 1 and Comparative Example 2 were each adhered to a gypsum board were observed.

As for workability, we evaluated whether the adhesive sheet once attached to the plaster board can be easily peeled off, that is, whether it can be re-stretched. Then, the presence or absence of peeling of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet over time was observed.

Note that the room in which the test was performed has an air temperature of 30 ° C. and a humidity of 60%. Moreover, with respect to the wallpaper of this-application example 1 and the comparative example 2, after spraying water with the sprayer marketed to the water-soluble adhesive material layer and expressing adhesiveness, this was stuck. The results of this comparative test are shown in Table 1.

Figure 0005307961
Figure 0005307961

As is clear from the results shown in Table 1, the wallpaper, which is the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention, can be easily applied again, and after being pressed against the adherend, it is strong due to the water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. It was confirmed that the adhesive force can be obtained, and it can be used semipermanently without peeling over time. Therefore, it was confirmed that the wallpaper having the advantages of the wallpaper with release paper and the wallpaper with re-humidified glue described as the prior art was obtained, and the wallpaper that overcomes the disadvantages of both was obtained.

Effect of the invention

According to the configuration of the present invention described above, not only the release paper is not used, and thus there is no trouble of peeling the release paper, but also the release paper after peeling does not occur as dust, and it is easy to reattach. Thus, it was possible to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet that has good workability and handleability, adheres firmly after sticking, and does not peel off due to moisture absorption or moisture content.

In particular, in the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet in which the ink-receiving layer is formed on the surface opposite to the surface on which the water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is formed, even if the substrate is made of a plastic sheet. Its printability is good and no overlay such as OPP is required.

In addition, in the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet in which through-holes are formed at predetermined intervals, it is possible to prevent air entrainment even when a base material or a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer made of a material having poor air permeability is provided. It was possible to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet that not only has a beautiful appearance after sticking, but also does not have a problem of peeling due to outgassing of the adherend or expansion of the air that has been embraced.
