Description
以下に、第1の実施の形態ついて説明する。
一般的なファイバは、挿入部の湾曲等によるファイバ構造の変化の影響により、偏光された光を入射してもファイバから射出する光において偏光状態を保つことができないことがある。そこで、本変形例では、挿入部の湾曲等によりファイバ構造の変化があった場合でも、偏光状態を保持することのできる内視鏡装置について説明する。
次に、第2の実施の形態について説明する。
Claims (7)
- 照明光を走査して被検体の内視鏡画像を生成する走査型内視鏡装置において、
第1波長帯域からなる第1照明光と前記第1波長帯域とは異なる第2波長帯域からなる第2照明光とを射出する光源と、
前記被検体に照射するための前記第1の照明光の第1の偏光方向の光を透過させる第1の偏光部と、
前記被検体に照射するための前記第2の照明光の前記第1の偏光方向とは異なる第2の偏光方向を透過させる第2の偏光部と、
前記被検体からの戻り光を受光し前記第1の偏光方向の光を透過させる第3の偏光部と、
前記被検体からの戻り光を受光し前記第2の偏光方向の光を透過させる第4の偏光部と、
前記第3の偏光部を透過した光を第1の波長帯域と第2の波長帯域とに分離する第1の波長分離部と、
前記第4の偏光部を透過した光を前記第1の波長帯域と前記第2の波長帯域とに分離する第2の波長分離部と、
前記第1の波長分離部を透過した前記第1の波長帯域を有する光と、前記第1の波長分離部を透過した前記第2の波長帯域を有する光との光強度を検出する第1の検出部と、
前記第2の波長分離部を透過した前記第1の波長帯域を有する光と、前記第2の波長分離部を透過した前記第2の波長帯域を有する光との光強度を検出する第2の検出部と、
前記被検体の表面領域での戻り光を観察するために、前記第1の波長分離部を透過した前記第1の波長帯域を有する光と、前記第1の波長分離部を透過した前記第2の波長帯域を有する光と、前記第2の波長分離部を透過した前記第1の波長帯域を有する光と、前記第2の波長分離部を透過した前記第2の波長帯域を有する光とのうち少なくとも2つの前記光強度を比較する第1の判定部と、
前記被検体の深部領域での戻り光を観察するために、前記第1の波長分離部を透過した前記第1の波長帯域を有する光と、前記第1の波長分離部を透過した前記第2の波長帯域を有する光と、前記第2の波長分離部を透過した前記第1の波長帯域を有する光と、前記第2の波長分離部を透過した前記第2の波長帯域を有する光とのうち前記第1の判定部で用いない2つの前記光強度を比較する第2の判定部と、
を有することを特徴とする走査型内視鏡装置。 - 前記第1の波長帯域は、390nmから445nmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の走査型内視鏡装置。
- 前記第1の波長帯域は、少なくとも415nmを含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の走査型内視鏡装置。
- 前記第2波長帯域は、600nmから1100nmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の走査型内視鏡装置。
- 前記第2波長帯域は、少なくとも600nmを含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の走査型内視鏡装置。
- 前記第1の判定部は、前記第1の波長分離部を透過した前記第1の波長帯域を有する光の前記光強度を用いることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の走査型内視鏡装置。
- 前記第1の判定部は、前記第1の波長分離部を透過した前記第1の波長帯域を有する光の前記光強度と、前記第2の波長分離部を透過した前記第2の波長帯域を有する光の前記光強度とを比較するとともに、前記第2の判定部は、前記第1の波長分離部を透過した前記第2の波長帯域を有する光の前記光強度と、前記第2の波長分離部を透過した前記第1の波長帯域を有する光の前記光強度とを比較することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の走査型内視鏡装置。
