Claims (3)
- 記録装置及び/または再生装置によってアクセス可能な情報記録媒体であって、
ユーザーデータを記録するためのユーザーデータ領域と、前記ユーザーデータ領域に発生した欠陥ブロックを代替する代替ブロックを記憶するためのスペア領域と、欠陥エントリが記録される欠陥リストを記憶するための欠陥管理領域を含み、
前記欠陥リストは前記情報記録媒体の前記スペア領域を拡張する再初期化によって第1欠陥エントリを変更して生成された第2欠陥エントリを含み、前記第1欠陥エントリ及び前記第2欠陥エントリは前記再初期化後にも前記ユーザーデータ領域に残されている第1欠陥ブロックに関する第1状態情報を含み、前記第2欠陥エントリは前記第1欠陥ブロックに対する位置情報及び前記第1欠陥ブロックに関する第2状態情報を含み、
前記第1欠陥エントリに含まれた第1欠陥ブロックに対する位置情報と前記第2欠陥エントリに含まれた第1欠陥ブロックに対する位置情報は互いに同じであることを特徴とする情報記録媒体。 - 情報記録媒体にデータを記録する装置において、
前記情報記録媒体は、
ユーザーデータを記憶するためのユーザーデータ領域と、前記ユーザーデータ領域に発生した欠陥ブロックを代替する代替ブロックを記憶するためのスペア領域と、欠陥エントリが記録される欠陥リストを記憶するための欠陥管理領域を含み、
前記装置は、前記情報記録媒体と関連してデータを伝送するように光を照射するピックアップと、
前記欠陥リストを記録するように前記ピックアップを制御するコントローラを含み、
前記欠陥リストは前記情報記録媒体の前記スペア領域を拡張する再初期化によって第1欠陥エントリを変更して生成された第2欠陥エントリを含み、前記第1欠陥エントリ及び前記第2欠陥エントリは前記再初期化後にも前記ユーザデータ領域に残されている第1欠陥ブロックに関する第1状態情報を含み、前記第2欠陥エントリは前記第1欠陥ブロックに対する位置情報及び前記第1欠陥ブロックに関する第2状態情報を含み、
前記第1欠陥エントリに含まれた第1欠陥ブロックに対する位置情報と前記第2欠陥エントリに含まれた第1欠陥ブロックに対する位置情報とは互いに同じであることを特徴とする記録装置。 - 情報記録媒体からデータを再生する装置において、
前記情報記録媒体は、
ユーザーデータを記憶するためのユーザーデータ領域と、前記ユーザーデータ領域に発生した欠陥ブロックを代替する代替ブロックを記憶するためのスペア領域と、欠陥エントリが記録される欠陥リストを記憶するための欠陥管理領域を含み、
前記装置は、前記情報記録媒体と関連してデータを伝送するように光を照射し受信するピックアップと、
前記結果リストを、
再生するように前記ピックアップを制御するコントローラを含み、
前記欠陥リストは前記情報記録媒体の前記スペア領域を拡張する再初期化によって第1欠陥エントリを変更して生成された第2欠陥エントリを含み、前記第1欠陥エントリ及び前記第2欠陥エントリは前記再初期化後にも前記ユーザデータ領域に残されている第1欠陥ブロックに関する第1状態情報を含み、前記第2欠陥エントリは前記第1欠陥ブロックに対する位置情報及び前記第1欠陥ブロックに関する第2状態情報を含み、
前記第1欠陥エントリに含まれた第1欠陥ブロックに対する位置情報と前記第2欠陥エントリに含まれた第1欠陥ブロックに対する位置情報は互いに同じであることを特徴とする再生装置。
