Description
Claims (2)
- マルチメディアデバイスを動作させる方法であって、
少なくとも1つのマルチメディアデバイスについて、オーディオ出力モードとビデオ出力モードの少なくとも1つを決定することと、
フィーチャレジストリから受信した命令から、前記オーディオ出力モードとビデオ出力モードの少なくとも1つから、前記少なくとも1つのマルチメディアデバイスの出力モードを選択することと、
前記少なくとも1つのマルチメディアデバイスを使用し、前記選択した出力モードを用いてメディアサービスを出力することと、
通信ネットワークから受信したソフトウェアアップグレードに関して使用可能な第2の出力モードを選択することであって、該第2の出力モードは、新たなオーディオ出力モードと新たなビデオ出力モードの少なくとも一方においてメディアサービスの出力をサポートすることと、
前記ソフトウェアアップグレードの後に使用可能にされる前記第2の出力モードに関する情報を、前記少なくとも1つのマルチメディアデバイスに接続された外部マルチメディアデバイス内の前記フィーチャレジストリに送信することと、
前記少なくとも1つのマルチメディアデバイスを使用し、前記選択された第2の出力モードを用いて第2のメディアサービスを出力することと
を含む、前記方法。 - マルチメディアデバイスの動作を制御する装置であって、
少なくとも1つのマルチメディアデバイスについて、オーディオ出力モードとビデオ出力モードの少なくとも1つを決定するための手段と、
フィーチャレジストリから受信した命令から、前記オーディオ出力モードとビデオ出力モードの少なくとも1つから、前記少なくとも1つのマルチメディアデバイスの出力モードを選択するための手段と、
前記少なくとも1つのマルチメディアデバイスを使用し、前記選択した出力モードを用いてメディアサービスを出力するための手段と、
通信ネットワークから受信したソフトウェアアップグレードに関して使用可能な第2の出力モードを選択するための手段であって、該第2の出力モードが、新たなオーディオ出力モードと新たなビデオ出力モードの少なくとも一方においてメディアサービスの出力をサポートする、手段と、
前記ソフトウェアアップグレードの後に使用可能な前記第2の出力モードに関する情報を、前記少なくとも1つのマルチメディアデバイスに接続された外部マルチメディアデバイス内の前記フィーチャレジストリに送信するための手段と、
前記少なくとも1つのマルチメディアデバイスを使用し、前記選択された第2の出力モードを用いて第2のメディアサービスを出力するための手段と
を備えた、前記装置。
