Description
Claims (17)
- 固体発光素子列を含む照明パネルと、
電圧入力端子、制御入力端子、前記固体発光素子列に接続する第一および第二の出力端子を持つ電流供給回路と、を備えた照明パネルシステムであって、
前記電流供給回路は、制御信号に応答して前記固体発光素子列にオン状態駆動電流を供給するように構成され、当該電流供給回路は、
前記電圧入力端子に接続された充電インダクタと、前記第一出力端子に接続された出力キャパシタと、
制御入力と第一及び第二制御出力とを有するコントローラと、
前記充電インダクタに接続され、かつ、前記制御器の第一制御出力に接続され、制御端子を有し、かつ、前記充電インダクタを前記コントローラからの第一の制御信号に応答して励起させるように構成された第一制御トランジスタと、
前記電流供給回路の第二出力端子に接続され、かつ、前記コントローラの第二の制御信号に応答して、前記電源供給回路の前記第一の出力端子に、前記出力キャパシタに蓄積された電圧を印加するよう構成された第二のトランジスタ、とを備え
前記電源供給回路は、オン状態駆動電流が固体発光素子列に供給される間、電流が連続して前記充電インダクタを通して流れる連続導通モードで動作するよう構成される
ことを特徴とする照明パネルシステム。 - 前記電流供給回路には、前記充電インダクタに接続するアノードと前記出力キャパシタに接続するカソードとを持つ整流器を備え、
前記第一の制御トランジスタは、前記コントローラからの第一の制御信号に応答して前記充電インダクタにエネルギを与え、前記第一の制御信号に応答して前記充電インダクタに蓄積したエネルギを前記整流器を介して前記出力キャパシタに放電するように構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明パネルシステム。 - 前記第二の制御トランジスタは、前記コントローラからの第二の制御信号に応答して、前記電流供給回路の前記第一の出力端子に、前記出力キャパシタに蓄積された電圧を供給するよう構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の照明パネルシステム。 - 前記電流供給回路は、前記第二の制御出力と前記第二の制御トランジスタとの間に低域通過フィルタをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の照明パネルシステム。
- 前記電流供給回路は、前記電流供給回路の前記第二の出力端子に接続するセンス抵抗をさらに備え、
前記コントローラは、前記センス抵抗に接続するフィードバック入力をさらに備え、
前記コントローラは、前記フィードバック入力で受信したフィードバック信号に応答して、前記第二の制御信号を活性化するように構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の照明パネルシステム。 - 前記電流供給回路は、前記センス抵抗と前記コントローラの前記フィードバック入力との間に接続した低域通過フィルタをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の照明パネルシステム。
- 前記充電インダクタは、約50μHから1.3mHのインダクタンスを持つことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明パネルシステム。
- 前記充電インダクタは、約680μHのインダクタンスを持つことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の照明パネルシステム。
- 前記電流供給回路は、可変電圧ブースと電流供給回路であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明パネルシステム。
- 複数の固体発光素子列および前記固体発光素子列のうちのそれぞれ一つと接続し連続導通モードで動作するよう構成した複数の電流供給回路とをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明パネルシステム。
- 前記電流供給回路は、少なくとも約85%入力電力を出力電力に変換するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明パネル。
- 前記電流供給回路は、少なくとも約90%の入力電力を出力電力に変換するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の照明パネル。
- 照明パネルシステムにおける固体発光素子列を駆動するために、オン状態駆動電流を発生する方法であって、
充電インダクタに接続された第一制御トランジスタをコントローラからの第一の制御信号で励起して、入力電圧で充電インダクタにエネルギを与えるステップと、
前記充電インダクタに蓄積したエネルギを出力キャパシタに放電するステップと、
前記固体発光素子列に接続された第二の制御トランジスタを前記コントローラからの第二の制御信号で励起して、前記固体発光素子列に前記出力キャパシタ上の電圧を供給するステップとを備え、
前記固体発光素子列にオン状態駆動電流を供給する間は前記充電インダクタを通して電流が連続的に流れ、
前記入力電圧で充電インダクタをにエネルギーを与えることは前記充電インダクタに接続された第一制御トランジスタを第一の制御信号で活性化し、
前記出力キャパシタの電圧を前記固体発光デバイス列に印加することは当該固体発光デバイス列に接続された第二の制御トランジスタを第二の制御信号で活性化することから成る、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記充電インダクタに蓄積したエネルギを出力キャパシタに放電するステップには、前記充電インダクタに蓄積したエネルギを整流器を介して放電することを含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。
- 出力電流を検出するステップと、前記検出した出力電流に応答して第一の制御トランジスタを活性化するステップとをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記第二の制御信号にフィルタを掛けるステップと、前記第二の制御トランジスタに前記フィルタを掛けた第二の制御信号を供給するステップとをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。
- 低域通過フィルタを使用して前記検出した出力電流をフィルタにかけるステップをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
