Claims (5)
- 一連の楕円環状空間と、
前記楕円環状空間を分割するリブと、
電解質層と、
アノード層とを有する平板状かつ管状の固体酸化物型燃料電池であって、
前記楕円環状空間は、その両端部を丸くした細長い楕円形断面を有し、
前記燃料電池は閉鎖端及び開放端を備え、空気管が挿入されて前記環状空間の全長に沿って給気するものとし、
前記閉鎖端はその端部を丸くされ、かつ、
前記閉鎖端は前記平板状かつ管状の固体酸化物型燃料電池の他の部分と一体成形され、
前記閉鎖端の壁厚は前記平板状かつ管状の固体酸化物型燃料電池の他の部分の壁厚であって、前記環状空間と前記平板状かつ管状の固体酸化物型燃料電池の外面との間の壁厚より厚いものとし、
さらに、前記閉鎖端は押出し成形によって形成されることを特徴とする平板状かつ管状の固体酸化物型燃料電池。 - 前記平板状かつ管状の固体酸化物型燃料電池の前記閉鎖端の壁厚が1.5〜2.0mmであり、前記壁厚は、前記環状空間と前記平板状かつ管状の固体酸化物型燃料電池の外面との間の前記閉鎖端における壁厚であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板状かつ管状の固体酸化物型燃料電池。
- 前記楕円形断面が丸みのある矩形の形状をなし、対向する短辺側の対と、対向する長辺側の対とからなり、前記短辺側は弧状をなすことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板状かつ管状の固体酸化物型燃料電池。
- 前記楕円形断面の長さ対幅比が1:2〜1:3であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板状かつ管状の固体酸化物型燃料電池。
- 前記平板状かつ管状の固体酸化物型燃料電池が4〜6個の楕円環状空間を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板状かつ管状の固体酸化物型燃料電池。
