図2に示したタイプの本発明による環境バリヤーを、名称「Hi-Nicalon」の下に日本の供給者Nippon Carbonによって生産されたSiCファイバーを用いた繊維補強材、及び、該繊維上でのPyCの界面層の沈着後に、化学的蒸着溶浸(infiltration)によって得られたB4C+C、SiC、Si-B-C+Cの連続した自己回復マトリックス(self-healing matrix)から成る複合材料の基質上に形成した。
図1に示された従来の環境バリヤーを、実施例1で用いたものと同じ複合材料の基質上に形成した。
実施例1及び2の処理において得られたバリヤーでコーティングされた基質を、1200℃に熱したオーブン中に2分間置き、次いで、環境温度の空気に戻すことによる熱的ショック試験に供した。
実施例1の環境バリヤーでコーティングされた基質を、以下のそれぞれに供した:
・1400℃で、5センチメートル/秒(cm/s)の速度の湿り空気(空気キログラム(kg)あたり水700グラム(g))の流れに600時間(h)曝露する腐食試験;及び
・苛酷な疲労及び腐食試験:160メガパスカル(MPa)、1200℃で、30時間の牽引、続いて、1200℃で、2 cm/sの速度の湿り空気(空気kgあたり水700 g)の流れに250時間の曝露。
Claims (10)
- シリコンを含有するセラミックマトリックス複合材料の基材、及び、該基材上に形成された環境バリヤーを含むパートであって、前記環境バリヤーが以下を含むパート:
−アルカリ、又はアルカリ土類、又は希土類の元素のアルミノケイ酸塩を含むタイプの化合物を含有する外側耐食保護層、及び、
−前記基材と前記耐食保護層の間に形成された結合下層、該結合下層は、50μm以下の厚さを有する、前記基材上に形成された実質的に純粋なシリコンの内側薄層に始まり、50μm以下の厚さを有する、実質的に純粋なムライトの外側薄層に終わり、前記結合下層の組成が、前記内側薄層と前記外側薄層の間で、シリコン含有量の減少及びムライト含有量の増加を伴って、実質的に純粋なシリコンから実質的に純粋なムライトに変化する。 - 該環境バリヤーがさらに、前記外側耐食保護層上に形成された外側熱保護層を含む、請求項1に記載のパート。
- 該環境バリヤーが、アルカリ、又はアルカリ土類、又は希土類の元素のアルミノケイ酸塩を含むタイプの化合物によって形成された耐食保護層及び該結合下層上に形成され、前記化合物のムライトとのアソシエーションを含む基底層を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のパート。
- 前記基底層が、結合下層のとなりに位置する内側表面における実質的に純粋なムライトと、前記耐食保護層のとなりに位置する外側表面における該耐食保護層を形成する実質的に単独の化合物との間で、該ムライト含有量の連続的な減少及び前記化合物の含有量の連続的な増加を伴って変化する組成を有する、請求項3に記載のパート。
- ガスタービンの熱い部分のコンポーネントを構成する、請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載のパート。
- ガスタービン燃焼チャンバーの壁の少なくとも一部を構成する、請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載のパート。
- シリコンを含有するセラミックマトリックス複合材料の基材上に環境バリヤーを形成する方法であって、以下を含む方法:
−シリコン粉末容器とムライト粉末容器を用いた熱的プラズマ噴霧により前記基材上に結合下層を形成して、前記結合下層に実質的に純粋なシリコンから実質的に純粋なムライトの間で組成勾配を与えること、前記結合下層は、50μm以下の厚さを有する、前記基材上に形成された実質的に純粋なシリコンの内側薄層、50μm以下の厚さを有する、実質的に純粋なムライトの外側薄層、及び、前記内側薄層と前記外側薄層の間で、シリコン含有量の減少及びムライト含有量の増加を伴って、実質的に純粋なシリコンから実質的に純粋なムライトに変化する組成変化を有して形成され、及び、
−前記結合下層上に外側耐食保護層を形成すること、前記外側耐食保護層は、アルカリ、又はアルカリ土類、又は希土類の元素のアルミノケイ酸塩を含むタイプの化合物を含有する。 - 前記外側耐食保護層上に外側熱保護層を形成する工程をさらに含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記結合下層と、アルカリ、又はアルカリ土類、又は希土類の元素のアルミノケイ酸塩を含むタイプの化合物によって形成された前記耐食保護層との間に基底層を形成する工程をさらに含み、前記基底層が前記化合物のムライトとのアソシエーションを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記基底層が、前記結合下層のとなりに位置する内側表面における実質的に純粋なムライトと、前記耐食保護層のとなりに位置する外側表面における該耐食保護層を形成する実質的に単独の化合物との間で、該ムライト含有量の連続的な減少及び前記化合物の含有量の連続的な増加を伴って変化する組成で形成される、請求項9に記載の方法。
