Description
Claims (15)
- 通信ネットワークの無線基地局の状態を示す方法であって、
前記無線基地局に関係するトランスポートネットワークの利用状況を測定する工程と、
前記測定されたトランスポートネットワークの利用状況と、前記無線基地局での測定性能とに基づいて輻輳状態フラグを生成する工程と、
前記輻輳状態フラグを少なくとも1つの他の無線基地局に送信する工程とを有し、
前記生成された輻輳状態フラグは3つ以上の可能性のある値の内の1つをもち、
該可能性のある値は、最大レベルの輻輳があることを示す第1の値と、最小レベルの輻輳があることを示す第2の値と、各々が異なる中間レベルの輻輳があることを示す1つ以上の中間的な値とを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記輻輳状態フラグは、前記測定されたトランスポートネットワークの利用状況と前記無線基地局での測定性能とをそれぞれの閾値と比較することにより生成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記輻輳状態フラグは2つの可能性がある値があり、1つの値は完全に輻輳している状態を示し、もう1つの値は輻輳していない状態を示すことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記3つ以上の値を有する輻輳状態は、状態遷移を用いて1ビットでシグナリングされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 複数のアクセス技術に属する無線基地局の前記輻輳状態がシグナリングされることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記輻輳状態は、別の独立したメッセージとしてシグナリングされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記輻輳状態は、他のシグナリングメッセージとあわせて送信されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記輻輳状態は、ユーザデータとあわせるか、或はピギーバックして送信されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記輻輳状態フラグをセル内のユーザに送信する工程をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つの他の無線基地局に関する前記輻輳状態フラグをセル内のユーザに送信する工程をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 通信ネットワークの第1の無線基地局の動作方法であって、
少なくとも1つの他の無線基地局で生成され受信した輻輳状態フラグを読み取る工程と、
前記輻輳状態フラグを用いて、前記第1の無線基地局によりサービスを受けるユーザ機器に関係する呼のハンドオーバのためにターゲット無線基地局を決定し、これにより、部分的には前記少なくとも1つの他の無線基地局に関係するトランスポートネットワークの利用状況に基いて前記ターゲット無線基地局を決定する工程と、
前記ターゲット無線基地局に対して前記呼のハンドオーバを開始する工程とを有し、
前記輻輳状態フラグは前記少なくとも1つの他の無線基地局に関係するトランスポートネットワークの測定された利用状況と前記少なくとも1つの他の無線基地局での測定性能とに基づいたものであることを特徴とする方法。 - サービング無線基地局として動作中の前記第1の無線基地局は、ユーザ機器がハンドオーバやセル再選択のためにダウンリンク測定を行うときに用いる近隣セルリストを動的に更新するために前記輻輳状態フラグを用いることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の無線基地局を含む通信ネットワークにおけるユーザ機器の動作方法であって、
前記ユーザ機器にサービスを行う第1の無線基地局で生成された第1の輻輳状態フラグを読み取る工程と、
近隣セルにおける第2の無線基地局で生成された第2の輻輳状態フラグを読み取る工程と、
前記第1の輻輳状態フラグと前記第2の輻輳状態フラグとを用いて新たな呼を確立するか、或いは、ハンドオーバを実行する無線基地局を選択し、これにより、部分的には前記第1の無線基地局に関係するトランスポートネットワークの測定された利用状況と前記第2の無線基地局に関係するトランスポートネットワークの測定された利用状況とに基いて前記無線基地局を選択する工程と、
前記選択された無線基地局とのハンドオーバと新たな呼との内の1つを開始する工程とを有し、
前記第1の輻輳状態フラグは前記第1の無線基地局に関係するトランスポートネットワークの前記測定された利用状況と前記第1の無線基地局での測定性能とに基づいたものであり、
前記第2の輻輳状態フラグは前記第2の無線基地局に関係するトランスポートネットワークの前記測定された利用状況と前記第2の無線基地局での測定性能とに基づいたものであることを特徴とする方法。 - 通信ネットワークにおける無線基地局であって、
前記無線基地局に関係するトランスポートネットワークの利用状況を測定する手段と、
前記測定されたトランスポートネットワークの利用状況と、前記無線基地局での測定性能とに基づいて輻輳状態フラグを生成する手段と、
前記輻輳状態フラグを少なくとも1つの他の無線基地局に送信する手段とを有し、
前記生成された輻輳状態フラグは3つ以上の可能性のある値の内の1つをもち、
該可能性のある値は、最大レベルの輻輳があることを示す第1の値と、最小レベルの輻輳があることを示す第2の値と、各々が異なる中間レベルの輻輳があることを示す1つ以上の中間的な値とを含むことを特徴とする無線基地局。 - 1つ以上の無線基地局を備える通信ネットワークにおけるユーザ機器であって、
前記ユーザ機器にサービスを行う第1の無線基地局で生成された第1の輻輳状態フラグを読み取る手段と、
近隣セルにおける第2の無線基地局で生成された第2の輻輳状態フラグを読み取る手段と、
前記第1の輻輳状態フラグと前記第2の輻輳状態フラグとを用いて新たな呼を確立するか、或いは、ハンドオーバを実行する無線基地局を選択し、これにより、部分的には前記第1の無線基地局に関係するトランスポートネットワークの測定された利用状況と前記第2の無線基地局に関係するトランスポートネットワークの測定された利用状況とに基いて前記無線基地局を選択する手段と、
前記選択された無線基地局とのハンドオーバと新たな呼との内の1つを開始する手段とを有し、
前記第1の輻輳状態フラグは前記第1の無線基地局に関係するトランスポートネットワークの前記測定された利用状況と前記第1の無線基地局での測定性能とに基づいたものであり、
前記第2の輻輳状態フラグは前記第2の無線基地局に関係するトランスポートネットワークの前記測定された利用状況と前記第2の無線基地局での測定性能とに基づいたものであることを特徴とするユーザ機器。
