Bearer-Priority::= <AVP Header: xxxx>
[priority]
[Bearer-Identifier]
ここで、「AVP Header」は、ヘッダ優先度情報要素のフォーマットの定義を表す。
「xxxx」は、ベアラ優先度AVPのコードを表す。
「priority」は、ベアラ優先度レベルを表し、ベアラ優先度レベルに従って決定された或る値範囲内の整数であってよい。例えば、合計で16のベアラ優先度レベルが存在する場合、0から15までの任意の整数がベアラ優先度レベルとして使用でき、各ベアラ優先度レベルは、0〜15の範囲内の或る整数に一意に対応する(例えば、0は最低優先度レベルを表し、15は最高優先度レベルを表す)。
「Bearer-Identifier」は、IP-CANベアラの識別子である。

ここで、「Bearer-Identifier」は、IP-CANベアラの識別子である。Authorized-QoS AVP情報要素がCharging-Rule-Definition AVP情報要素の中に入れられた場合、「Bearer-Priority」は、対応するPCC規則において定義されたサービスデータストリームの優先度レベルを表す。Authorized-QoS AVP情報要素がRARメッセージまたはCCAメッセージの中に入れられ、かつAuthorized-QoS AVP情報要素がベアラ識別子を全く運んでいない場合、「Bearer-Priority」は、IP-CANセッション全体の優先度レベルを表す。Authorized-QoS AVP情報要素がRARメッセージまたはCCAメッセージの中に入れられるが、Authorized-QoS AVP情報要素が、ベアラ識別子を運んでいる場合、「Bearer-Priority」は、そのベアラ識別子に対応するIP-CANベアラの優先度レベルを表す。

Claims (13)
- 複数のサービスデータストリームが同一のQoSレベルを要求する場合に、前記複数のサービスデータストリームを差別的に扱うためのサービス処理方法であって、
ポリシー制御および料金請求規則機能(PCRF)エンティティにより、複数の因子、すなわち、サービスタイプ、サービス優先度、ユーザ優先度、およびカスタム定義された優先度のうちの少なくとも1つを含むポリシーコンテキスト情報を取得する段階と、
前記PCRFエンティティにより、前記ポリシーコンテキスト情報に従ってベアラ優先度情報を生成する段階と、
前記PCRFエンティティにより、前記ベアラ優先度情報をポリシーおよび料金請求執行機能(PCEF)エンティティに送信する段階と、
前記PCEFエンティティにより、前記PCRFエンティティから前記ベアラ優先度情報を受信する段階と、
前記PCEFエンティティにより、前記ベアラ優先度情報に従って前記複数のサービスデータストリームを扱い、リソース競合が生じた際には、より高いベアラ優先度レベルのサービスデータストリームのためにリソースを優先的に確保する段階と
を有し、
前記ベアラ優先度情報は、サービスデータストリームのベアラ優先度レベルを表すベアラ優先度情報を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - ベアラ優先度情報要素を加える段階をさらに有し、
前記ベアラ優先度情報要素は、ベアラ優先度メッセージの中に直接に設定されるか、または既存の情報要素の中に設定され、
前記ベアラ優先度メッセージのタイプは、クレジット制御応答(CCA)メッセージおよび再認証要求(RAR)メッセージのうちの少なくとも1つを含み、
前記既存の情報要素のタイプは、料金請求規則定義属性値ペア(AVP)情報要素、および許可サービス品質(QoS)AVP情報要素のうちの少なくとも1つを含み、
前記ベアラ優先度情報要素は、ベアラ優先度レベルを運ぶように構成されたベアラ優先度レベルサブ情報要素と、ユーザのベアラ識別子を運ぶように構成されたベアラ識別子サブ情報要素とを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記ベアラ優先度情報要素の中に前記ベアラ優先度情報を設定する段階をさらに有し、
前記ベアラ優先度情報要素の中に前記ベアラ優先度情報を設定する段階は、
前記ベアラ優先度情報が前記サービスデータストリームのベアラ優先度情報である場合、前記料金請求規則定義AVP情報要素の中に前記ベアラ優先度情報要素を設定し、前記ベアラ識別子サブ情報要素を空白となるように設定し、かつ前記ベアラ優先度レベルサブ情報要素の中に前記サービスデータストリームのベアラ優先度レベルを設定する段階を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記既存の情報要素が前記許可QoS AVP情報要素である場合、前記既存の情報要素の中に前記ベアラ優先度情報要素を設定する段階が、
前記ベアラ優先度情報が前記サービスデータストリームのベアラ優先度情報である場合、前記許可QoS AVP情報要素の中に前記ベアラ優先度情報要素を設定し、次いで、前記料金請求規則定義AVP情報要素の中に前記許可QoS AVP情報要素を設定する段階を有することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。 - 前記PCRFエンティティから前記ベアラ優先度情報を受信する段階が、前記ベアラ優先度メッセージを介して前記PCRFエンティティから前記ベアラ優先度情報を受信する段階を有することを特徴とする請求項3または4に記載の方法。
- 前記PCRFエンティティにより、前記ポリシーコンテキスト情報を取得する段階が、
前記PCRFエンティティにより、アプリケーション機能(AF)エンティティから前記サービスタイプおよび前記サービス優先度を取得する段階、または、
前記PCRFエンティティにより、サブスクリプションプロファイルリポジトリ(SPR)から前記ユーザ優先度を取得する段階
を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記ベアラ優先度情報が、インターネットプロトコル接続アクセスネットワーク(IP−CAN)セッションの優先度レベルを表すベアラ優先度情報、およびIP−CANベアラの優先度レベルを表すベアラ優先度情報のうちの少なくとも1つをさらに含み、
1つまたは複数のIP−CANベアラが、同一のIP−CANセッションでセットアップされ、
1つまたは複数のIP−CANベアラの各々が、1つまたは複数のサービスデータストリームを運ぶことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - ベアラ優先度情報要素を加える段階をさらに有し、
前記ベアラ優先度情報要素は、ベアラ優先度メッセージの中に直接に設定されるか、または既存の情報要素の中に設定され、
前記ベアラ優先度メッセージのタイプは、クレジット制御応答(CCA)メッセージ、または再認証要求(RAR)メッセージであり、
前記既存の情報要素のタイプは、料金請求規則定義属性値ペア(AVP)情報要素、または許可サービス品質(QoS)AVP情報要素であり、
前記ベアラ優先度情報要素は、ベアラ優先度レベルを運ぶように構成されたベアラ優先度レベルサブ情報要素と、ユーザのベアラ識別子を運ぶように構成されたベアラ識別子サブ情報要素とを含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。 - 前記ベアラ優先度情報要素の中に前記ベアラ優先度情報を設定する段階をさらに有し、
前記ベアラ優先度情報要素の中に前記ベアラ優先度情報を設定する段階は、
前記ベアラ優先度情報が前記IP−CANセッションのベアラ優先度情報である場合、前記ベアラ識別子サブ情報要素を空白となるように設定し、かつ前記ベアラ優先度レベルサブ情報要素の中に前記IP−CANセッションのベアラ優先度レベルを設定する段階、または、
前記ベアラ優先度情報が前記IP−CANベアラのベアラ優先度情報である場合、前記ベアラ識別子サブ情報要素の中にIP−CANベアラ識別子を設定し、かつ前記ベアラ優先度レベルサブ情報要素の中に前記IP−CANベアラのベアラ優先度レベルを設定する段階
を有することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。 - 複数のサービスデータストリームが同一のQoSレベルを要求する場合に、前記複数のサービスデータストリームを差別的に扱うためのサービス処理システムであって、
ポリシー制御および料金請求規則機能(PCRF)エンティティと、
ポリシーおよび料金請求執行機能(PCEF)エンティティと
を具備し、
前記PCRFエンティティは、複数の因子、すなわち、サービスタイプ、サービス優先度、ユーザ優先度、およびカスタム定義された優先度のうちの少なくとも1つを含むポリシーコンテキスト情報を取得し、前記ポリシーコンテキスト情報に従ってベアラ優先度情報を生成し、前記ベアラ優先度情報を前記PCEFエンティティに送信するように構成されており、
前記PCEFエンティティは、前記ベアラ優先度情報に従って前記複数のサービスデータストリームを扱い、リソース競合が生じた際には、より高いベアラ優先度レベルのサービスデータストリームのためにリソースを優先的に確保するように構成されており、
前記ベアラ優先度情報は、サービスデータストリームのベアラ優先度レベルを表すベアラ優先度情報を含むことを特徴とするサービス処理システム。 - アプリケーション機能(AF)エンティティをさらに具備し、
前記AFエンティティは、前記サービスタイプおよび前記サービス優先度を取得し、前記サービスタイプおよび前記サービス優先度を前記PCRFエンティティに送信するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のサービス処理システム。 - サブスクリプションプロファイルリポジトリ(SPR)をさらに具備し、
前記SPRは、前記ユーザ優先度を含むユーザのサブスクリプションプロファイルを格納するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のサービス処理システム。 - 複数の因子、すなわち、サービスタイプ、サービス優先度、ユーザ優先度、およびカスタム定義された優先度のうちの少なくとも1つを含むポリシーコンテキスト情報を取得するように構成された取得ユニットと、
前記ポリシーコンテキスト情報に従ってベアラ優先度情報を生成するように構成された生成ユニットと、
ポリシーおよび料金請求執行機能(PCEF)エンティティにより、前記ベアラ優先度情報に従って複数のサービスデータストリームが扱われ、リソース競合が生じた際には、より高いベアラ優先度レベルのサービスデータストリームのためにリソースが優先的に確保されるよう、前記ベアラ優先度情報を前記PCEFエンティティに送信するように構成された送信ユニットと
を具備し、
前記ベアラ優先度情報は、サービスデータストリームのベアラ優先度レベルを表すベアラ優先度情報を含むことを特徴とするポリシー制御および料金請求規則機能(PCRF)エンティティ。
