Description
1.発明の分野
本発明は、腹部大動脈瘤の治療装置に関し、より具体的には、腹部大動脈瘤嚢(abdominal aortic aneurysm sac)への支柱配置による接近(post placement access)を容易にするための、1つ以上のアクセスポートを有する、腹部大動脈瘤の治療装置に関する。
動脈瘤は、通常は全身性コラーゲンの合成の欠陥または構造上の欠陥により引き起こされる、動脈壁の1つの層または複数の層の異常な膨張である。腹部大動脈瘤は、通常は2つの腸骨動脈のうちの一方もしくは双方の中、または近く、あるいは腎動脈の近くに位置する、大動脈の腹部における動脈瘤である。動脈瘤は、罹病した大動脈の腎臓下の部分(infrarenal portion)、例えば腎臓の下方で生じることが多い。胸部大動脈瘤は、大動脈の胸部における動脈瘤である。治療せずに放置されると、動脈瘤は、破裂する可能性があり、通常急速で致命的な出血を引き起こす。
本発明は、簡単に前述したように、現在利用されている動脈瘤治療装置に関連する欠点を克服するものである。
本発明は、ステントグラフトと共に使用するための、より具体的には、動脈瘤治療システムの一部であるステントグラフト、または体内プロテーゼと共に使用するための、アクセスポートに向けられている。動脈瘤治療システムは、機能によって異なる場所に設置された多くのアクセスポートを含むことができる。このアクセスポートは、さまざまな機能に利用されることができる。例えば、アクセスポートは、薬剤または他の治療薬を送達するために、動脈瘤嚢からの流体を除去するか、または吸引するために、センサなどの他の装置を植え込むために、他の装置を除去するために、およびエンドリークを封じるための接近手段を提供するために、利用されうる。さらなる使用法および/または機能は、以下の詳細な説明から明らかになるであろう。アクセスポートは、あらゆる種類の治療システムと共に利用されることができるが、説明しやすいように、本発明にしたがったアクセスポートは、腹部大動脈瘤治療システムの特定の例示的実施形態を参照して説明されることに注目することが重要である。

少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトであって、動脈瘤嚢を通って延び、かつ前記バイパスグラフトを通る流体流路を作り出すように構成された、少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトと、
前記少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトに接続されて、前記少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトと流体連通している、少なくとも1つのポートであって、開位置、および閉位置をとるように操作可能である、少なくとも1つのポートと、
を備える、動脈瘤治療システム。
(2) 実施態様1に記載の動脈瘤治療システムにおいて、
前記少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトは、少なくとも1つのステントを含む、動脈瘤治療システム。
(3) 実施態様2に記載の動脈瘤治療システムにおいて、
前記少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトは、前記少なくとも1つのステントの少なくとも一部を覆うグラフト材料を含む、動脈瘤治療システム。
(4) 実施態様1に記載の動脈瘤治療システムにおいて、
前記少なくとも1つのポートは、第1の端部、および第2の端部を有するほぼ管状の部材を含み、
前記第1の端部は、前記少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトに接続されて、前記少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトと流体連通しており、
前記第2の端部は、固定されていない、動脈瘤治療システム。
(5) 実施態様4に記載の動脈瘤治療システムにおいて、
前記ほぼ管状の部材は、グラフトを含む、動脈瘤治療システム。
前記ほぼ管状の部材は、前記グラフトの少なくとも一部の周囲に設置された格子構造体をさらに含み、
前記格子構造体は、拡張させる力を加えられなければ、前記ほぼ管状の部材の前記第2の端部を前記閉位置に保持し、これにより前記第2の端部を通る流体の流れを妨げる、1つの部分を含む、動脈瘤治療システム。
(7) 実施態様6に記載の動脈瘤治療システムにおいて、
前記格子構造体は、超弾性材料を含む、動脈瘤治療システム。
(8) 実施態様7に記載の動脈瘤治療システムにおいて、
前記超弾性材料は、ニッケル‐チタン合金を含む、動脈瘤治療システム。
(9) 実施態様6に記載の動脈瘤治療システムにおいて、
前記格子構造体は、形状記憶材料を含む、動脈瘤治療システム。
(10) 実施態様9に記載の動脈瘤治療システムにおいて、
前記形状記憶材料は、ニッケル‐チタン合金を含む、動脈瘤治療システム。
Claims (7)
- 動脈瘤治療システムにおいて、
少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトであって、動脈瘤嚢を通って延び、かつ前記バイパスグラフトを通る流体流路を作り出すように構成された、少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトと、
前記少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトに接続されて、前記少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトと流体連通している、少なくとも1つのポートであって、開位置、および閉位置をとるように操作可能である、少なくとも1つのポートと、
を備え、
前記少なくとも1つのポートは、第1の端部、および第2の端部を有する管状のグラフトを含み、前記第1の端部は、前記少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトに接続されて、前記少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトと流体連通しており、前記第2の端部は、固定されておらず、
前記管状のグラフトは、前記管状のグラフトの少なくとも一部の周囲に設置された格子構造体をさらに含み、前記格子構造体は、拡張させる力を加えられなければ、前記管状のグラフトの前記第2の端部をよじれまたは折れ曲がりによって前記閉位置に保持し、これにより前記第2の端部を通る流体の流れを妨げる、1つの部分を含む、

前記少なくとも1つのバイパスグラフトは、少なくとも1つのステントを含む、動脈瘤治療システム。 - 請求項2に記載の動脈瘤治療システムにおいて、
