Description
The present invention relates to a valve device using a sliding member.
In a valve device for controlling the water flow, for example, by moving a shaft connected to the valve body in the axial direction thereof, the valve body is brought into contact with and separated from the valve seat, and is opened and closed, thereby allowing water to flow or stop. A known stop valve is known. Furthermore, a water flow control valve that controls the water flow rate by adjusting the opening of the valve body with respect to the valve seat is also known.
Here, in order to prevent water from entering the drive side opposite to the valve body of the shaft, for example, a sealing material such as an O-ring is fixedly arranged around the shaft, and the shaft is slidably contacted with the sealing material. Thus, sealing (water stopping) is performed so that water does not enter the drive side opposite to the valve body of the shaft (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
Here, the O-ring needs to surely seal the contact interface particularly in a state where the shaft slides in the axial direction, so that a large sliding resistance is generated. Therefore, a lubricant such as grease is applied to the surface of the O-ring to reduce the sliding resistance.
As a method for reducing the sliding resistance, a technique for reducing the sliding resistance by forming a low friction layer on the surface of rubber which is an O-ring has been proposed (for example, see Patent Document 2).
By the way, various types of grease are used as lubricants to reduce sliding resistance. However, when used for tap water (tap water, etc.), it meets the standards of the Food Sanitation Law from the viewpoint of safety to humans. In addition, expensive fluorine-based grease and silicone-based grease are used, which causes an increase in cost.
In the case of grease, the characteristics change when used for a long time at a high temperature as in the case of controlling the flow rate of hot water. For example, as a change in viscosity, the grease may change to a higher viscosity side and may solidify. In this case, even if grease is used, the sliding resistance becomes high, and wear of the O-ring is induced.
Further, in the above-mentioned
In any case, deterioration of the sealing performance due to wear of the O-ring has caused water leakage.
In the valve device as described above, the product life is reached when water leakage due to wear of the O-ring occurs. Therefore, there has been a demand for a method capable of extending the product life by methods other than those described above.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, to provide a valve apparatus using the O-ring slide member capable of reducing the wear of the time of sliding against the O-ring Objective.
Sliding in order to achieve the object, the valve arrangement according to
In the present invention described in
Therefore, the surface of the sliding member and the sealing material are always wet when in use, and the water attached to the surface of the sliding member and the sealing material so as to become wet functions as a lubricant and slides. Resistance can be reduced and wear of the sealing material can be suppressed. As a result, it is possible to mainly improve the durability of the sealing material and extend its life. In addition, the hydrophilic film formed on the surface of the sliding member can be a hard film that does not easily wear even when sliding with the sealing material. That is, the sliding member does not need to be made of a material that has flexibility and is easily elastically deformed like an O-ring, and can use a hydrophilic film made of a material that hardly wears. In addition, the abrasion of the hydrophilic film is reduced by the lubricating action of water.
Therefore, the hydrophilic film is not worn in a relatively short period of time, the water lubrication action is maintained for a long time, and the wear of the sealing material can be significantly delayed. In addition, since the water that contacts the sliding member during use functions as a lubricant, water as a lubricant is always supplied as long as it is used, even if no lubricant is supplied from the outside. From the above, according to the present invention, the change in sliding resistance is small over a long period of time, and the characteristics are stabilized. For example, when grease is used, sliding resistance may increase greatly due to deterioration of grease, adhesion of grease components, etc., but in the present invention, the value of sliding resistance is stable over a relatively long period of time. It becomes a low state.
Furthermore, since water functions as a lubricant, it is not necessary to use expensive grease. Further, it is not necessary to use an expensive sealing material having a low friction layer formed on the surface. Therefore, cost can be reduced.
Moreover, the sliding resistance with respect to the sealing material of a sliding member can be reduced as mentioned above, the abrasion of a sealing material can be suppressed, and the liquid leakage by abrasion of a sealing material can be prevented. Thereby, the durability of the valve device can be improved and the product life of the valve device can be extended.
In addition, there is no need to use a lubricant such as grease to prevent wear of the seal material by reducing sliding resistance with the seal material, or to use a seal material with a low friction layer formed on the surface. Cost can be reduced. In addition, when using a valve device for clean water, it is not necessary to use expensive grease in consideration of safety, and further cost reduction can be achieved. Is not mixed, and the clean water can be kept in a cleaner state.
As described above, according to the present invention, sliding resistance can be reduced by using water present in the environment of use, and therefore, functional degradation due to grease exhaustion or changes in the physical properties of grease does not occur theoretically. The durability of the sliding member can be improved. In particular, in order to prevent wear of the sealing material and improve durability, the surface of the sealing material is not subjected to processing or a lubricant is applied to the sealing material, but a sliding slide with respect to the sealing material. In addition to processing the surface of the moving member, it is very specific that the processing does not form a low friction layer but forms a hydrophilic layer.
The sliding member of the valve device according to the present invention is used in a valve that controls the flow of water . For example, there is a possibility that the sliding member is always wet, that is, contact with water. It may be a valve or a pump that handles steam or high-humidity gas that may be in a closed state.
The valve device according to
The film is a hydrophilic oxide ceramic.
In the invention described in
The oxide ceramic component is an oxide of a semiconductor or metal, for example, an oxide of silicon, aluminum, titanium, etc. The hydrophilicity of not only the component but also oxide ceramics. A microscopic surface structure is also affected, and known oxide-based ceramics exhibiting hydrophilicity can be used.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, the valve device according to the second aspect is characterized in that the oxide ceramic component is silicon dioxide (SiO2).
In the invention described in
A sliding member according to a fourth aspect is characterized in that, in the invention according to any one of the first to third aspects, the thickness of the coating is 10 to 500 nm.
In the invention described in claim 4, by setting the thickness of the film to 10 nm or more, hydrophilicity can be exhibited, sliding resistance can be reduced, and wear of the sealing material can be reduced. However, when the durability of the hydrophilic film is taken into consideration, it is preferable to make the film thickness of the hydrophilic film further thicker than 10 nm.
Moreover, even if the film thickness of the hydrophilic film is 500 nm or more, it is difficult to expect further improvement in durability only by increasing the manufacturing cost.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, in a sliding member used with a valve and a pump, especially a valve and a pump that handle water, the sliding resistance against the sealing material is reduced, the wear of the sealing material is prevented, and the durability is improved. be able to. Further, in reducing the sliding resistance with respect to the sealing material, a lubricant such as grease and a sealing material having a low friction layer are not required, and the cost can be reduced. In addition, when these lubricants are used, or compared with a sealing material having a low friction layer, the product life can be extended by improving the durability.

The
The thickness of the
It should be noted that even if the film thickness is increased more than necessary, further durability is not always expected, and the cost increases. Therefore, the film thickness is preferably 500 nm or less.
Next, a method for forming the
First, the

In the
Next, the operation of the
As shown in FIG. 5, when the
On the left side in FIG. 5, the
Further, on the right side of FIG. 5, the
Therefore, compared with the case where the
As described above, according to this example, the

In addition, this time, what performed immersion treatment and normal temperature drying once, and what performed twice were created.
In addition, the film thickness of the formed hydrophilic film |
Therefore, in order to obtain the relationship between the number of immersion treatments and the film thickness of the
As shown in FIG. 6, the film thickness for each number of immersion treatments of the
Next, the
In addition, the actual machine durability test includes a test (Example 1) using a valve device incorporating the
In the actual machine durability test, the valve device was continuously opened and closed until a water leak occurred, and the number of opening and closing cycles until the water leak occurred was obtained.
And in the valve apparatus using the conventional grease of Comparative Example 1, leakage due to wear (deterioration) of the O-ring occurred in 100,000 to 120,000 cycles. In the valve device using the O-ring having the conventional low friction layer of Comparative Example 2, water leakage due to wear of the O-ring occurred in 50,000 cycles.
On the other hand, in the valve device using the
