注意ラベル決定のための試験結果の要約
・ 六角形発泡体パッド要素とシャツおよびガードル布地との接着層の破壊はなかった。六角形発泡体パッドは、すべての洗濯方法および温度(80°F(26.7℃)から180°F(82.2℃)の範囲)において、シャツおよびガードル布地ならびにその裏地にしっかり接着していた。
・ シャツおよびガードル布地の寸法変化は、最小の変化%はより低い水洗温度で見られたが、すべての洗濯および温度において満足すべきものであった。
・ ガードルの弾性ウエストバンドは、より高い水洗温度で大きな収縮(寸法の緩和)を示した。但し、伸びは失われなかった。
・ シャツおよびガードルの縫い目には、様々な洗濯方法および温度において、基材布地より高い収縮%を示すものがあった。これらの結果には諸方法の間で一貫性がなかった(温度にかかわらず、あるものは高く、他のものは低かった)。しかし、縫い目の伸びが失われた様子はない(寸法変化の詳細な試験結果を参照されたい)。
・ 180°F(82.2℃)および158°F(70℃)という高い水洗温度における布地の染色堅ろう度は不十分であった。180°F(82.2℃)における色変化はひどく、布地の灰色の色相が薄緑色になった。158°F(70℃)では、灰色は灰緑色に変化した。より低い温度での染色堅ろう度は満足すべきものであった。
・ 非塩素系漂白剤に対する布地の染色堅ろう度は満足すべきものであった。
USTC CL−5
8セット(シャツおよびガードル)のパッド付き運動用下着を、様々な温度で営業用および、家庭内洗濯方法によって洗濯し、その性能特性を測定した。試験した衣類の評価により以下のことが分かった。
180°F(82.2℃)、158°F(70℃)、120°F(48.9℃)、80°F(26.7℃)での営業水洗
・ 試験した衣類の寸法変化(長さおよび幅)は、最大の変化%が180°F(82.2℃)での水洗で見られたが、4つの水洗温度すべてで満足すべきものであった。ガードルの弾性ウエストバンドの大きな収縮が、180°F(82.2℃)および158°F(70℃)での水洗で認められた。但し、伸びは失われなかった。
・ これら4つの洗濯方法の何れにおいても、シャツ/ガードル布地と六角形パッドの間の接着層の破壊はなかった。六角形発泡体パッドは、その裏地にも接着した状態のままであった。
・ 4つの洗濯方法のすべてにおいて、衣類(シャツおよびガードル)の形状保持および外観は良好であった。縫い目または布地の劣化はなく、布地表面にピリングおよび毛羽は認められなかった。
・ 180°F(82.2℃)における染色堅ろう度は不満足であった。色変化はひどかった。灰色の布地は薄緑色に変化した。120°F(48.9℃)および80°F(26.7℃)での染色堅ろう度は満足すべきものであった。
・ 158°F(70℃)における色変化は、180°F(82.2℃)ほどのひどさはなかったが、かなり顕著であった。灰色の布地は灰緑色に変化した。(以下の染色堅ろう度の試験結果、ならびにこの報告書と共に返却された染色堅ろう度材料見本および試験布地を参照されたい。)
140°F(60℃)、120°F(48.9℃)、105°F(40.6℃)、80°F(26.7℃)での家庭内洗濯
・ 試験したすべての衣類の寸法変化(長さおよび幅)は、小さな変化%が120°F(48.9℃)、105°F(40.6℃)および80°F(26.7℃)での水洗で起こったが、4つの水洗温度すべてで満足すべきものであった。ガードルの弾性ウエストバンドの小さな収縮が、105°F(40.6℃)および80°F(26.7℃)での水洗で発生した。
・ これら4つの洗濯方法の何れにおいても、シャツ/ガードル布地と六角形発泡体パッドの間の接着層の破壊はなかった。六角形パッドは、その裏地にも接着した状態のままであった。
・ 4つの洗濯方法のすべてにおいて、衣類(シャツおよびガードル)の形状保持および外観は良好であった。縫い目または布地の劣化はなく、布地表面にピリングおよび毛羽は認められなかった。
・ 4つの洗濯温度すべてにおいて染色堅ろう度は満足すべきものであった。
Claims (13)
- 可撓性材料であって、
4方向伸縮性布地基材と、間隔をおいて配置された複数の分離したポリエチレンを含む1平方インチ(6.45cm 2 )以下の面積の複数の表面を有する弾性発泡体ブロックを含み、
前記発泡体ブロックは、前記布地基材に、ポリエチレンまたはエチレン酢酸ビニルを含む250°F(121.1℃)から265°F(129.4℃)の溶融温度範囲を有する熱可塑性ホットメルト接着剤で貼り付けられ、
前記発泡体ブロックは、前記弾性発泡体ブロックの表面を介して前記布地基材に接続している、
ことを特徴とする可撓性材料。 - 衣類であって、
少なくとも50%伸びることができる上部伸縮性布地層と、
前記上部布地層に取り付けられた、少なくとも50%伸びることができる下部伸縮性布地層と、
前記下部布地層に、ポリエチレンまたはエチレン酢酸ビニルを含む250°F(121.1℃)から265°F(129.4℃)の溶融温度範囲を有する熱可塑性ホットメルト接着剤で貼り付けられ、間隔をおいて配置された複数の分離した1平方インチ(6.45cm 2 )以下の面積の複数の表面を有する弾性発泡体ブロックを含み、
前記発泡体ブロックは、前記上部布地層および下部伸縮性布地層の間にあり、
前記発泡体ブロックは、前記弾性発泡体ブロックの表面を介して前記複数の布地層に接続している、
ことを特徴とする衣類。 - 前記下部布地層は、上部布地層に縫い合わせられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の衣類。
- 前記発泡体ブロックは、上部層に、熱可塑性ホットメルト接着剤で貼り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の衣類。
- 前記上部層および下部層の伸縮性布地は、50%から200%まで伸びることができ、前記発泡体ブロックがポリエチレンを含む、ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の衣類。
- 前記発泡体ブロックは、上部層に接着剤で貼り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の衣類。
- 前記発泡体ブロックは、六角形であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の衣類。
- 衣類であって、
少なくとも50%伸びることができる上部4方向伸縮性布地層と、
前記上部4方向伸縮性布地層に縫い合わされた、少なくとも50%伸びることができる下部4方向伸縮性布地層と、
前記下部および上部4方向伸縮性布地層に、ポリエチレンまたはエチレン酢酸ビニルを含む250°F(121.1℃)から265°F(129.4℃)の溶融温度範囲を有する熱可塑性ホットメルト接着剤で貼り付けられ、前記上部および下部4方向伸縮性布地層の間にある、間隔をおいて配置された複数の分離した1平方インチ(6.45cm 2 )以下の面積の複数の表面を有する弾性発泡体ブロックと、
を含み、
前記発泡体ブロックは、前記弾性発泡体ブロックの表面を介して前記上部および下部4方向伸縮性布地層に接続している、
ことを特徴とする衣類。 - 前記上部および下部4方向伸縮性布地層は、50%から200%まで伸びることができることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の衣類。
- 前記布地基材は、50%から200%まで伸びることができる4方向伸縮性布地基材であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可撓性材料。
- 前記発泡体ブロックは、ポリエチレンを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の衣類。
- 前記発泡体ブロックは、ポリエチレンを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の衣類。
- 衣類であって、
50%から200%まで伸びることができる上部4方向伸縮性布地層と、
前記上部4方向伸縮性布地層に縫い合わされた、50%から200%まで伸びることができる下部4方向伸縮性布地層と、
間隔をおいて配置された複数の分離したポリエチレンを含む1平方インチ(6.45cm 2 )以下の面積の複数の表面を有する弾性発泡体ブロックと、
前記発泡体ブロックは、前記下部および上部4方向伸縮性布地層に、ポリエチレンまたはエチレン酢酸ビニルを含む250°F(121.1℃)から265°F(129.4℃)の溶融温度範囲を有する熱可塑性ホットメルト接着剤で貼り付けられ、
前記発泡体ブロックは、前記下部および上部4方向伸縮性布地層の間にあり、
前記発泡体ブロックは、前記弾性発泡体ブロックの表面を介して前記下部および上部4方向伸縮性布地層に接続している、
ことを特徴とする衣類。
