Description
すべてのリン酸カルシウムベースの骨セメント(CPBC)のようなリン酸三カルシウムは、天然に多孔性の材料であるが、その機械的性質は、脆性材料に特有のものであり、ゆえに、天然の骨組織の性質とは非常に異なる。
本発明の注射可能な複合材料は、以下のように製造される。
本発明の複合材料の機械的特性および注射可能性特性を調べるために、PVAの異なる重量濃度(10%、17%、20%)で水性溶液を調製した。これらの溶液は、ポリマー粉末を温度100℃にて20分間水と混合することによって調製した。周囲温度に冷却した後、3つの異なる重量組成のα-TCP/PVA(93/7、88/12、86/14 w/w)を得るために、ポリマー溶液をα-TCP粉末と混合した。
本発明の複合材料の適用性の範囲を評価し、リン酸カルシウムに基づく従来のセメントと比較するために、シリンジから押し出されうる材料の重量パーセンテージとして定義される、注射可能性という実験パラメーターを用いた。

注射可能性を決定するために、既知量(Wi)の材料を満たしたシリンジを使用し、クロスブレースの下降の速度が15 mm/分であり、適用される荷重が約100 Nである動力計を用いて圧縮力を加えた。成分を秤量したらすぐに、複合材料にペースト状粘稠度が達成されるまでそれらを混合し、次いで、シリンジに入れ、順に適当な支持体上に置いた。これらの操作は、60〜90秒で行わなければならなかった。シリンジに充填した後、試験について時間カウントを開始することができた。試験が完了したとき、押し出された材料を秤量し(We)、所望のパラメーターを計算した。

- リン酸三カルシウムセラミック相およびポリビニルアルコールヒドロゲル流動体相からなる注射可能な複合材料。
- ポリビニルアルコールヒドロゲル流動体相が、ポリビニルアルコールの2-30重量%水溶液である請求項1に記載の注射可能な複合材料。
- 3/97〜20/80(w/w)の範囲のポリビニルアルコールポリマー/リン酸三カルシウム重量比を有する請求項1または2に記載の注射可能な複合材料。
- 7/93(w/w)のポリビニルアルコールポリマー/リン酸三カルシウム重量比を有する請求項3に記載の注射可能な複合材料。
- 12/88(w/w)のポリビニルアルコールポリマー/リン酸三カルシウム重量比を有する請求項3に記載の注射可能な複合材料。
- 14/86(w/w)のポリビニルアルコールポリマー/リン酸三カルシウム重量比を有する請求項3に記載の注射可能な複合材料。
- リン酸三カルシウムセラミック相、ポリビニルアルコールヒドロゲル流動体相、および薬物、細胞培養物またはその組み合わせから選ばれる生物活性剤からなる注射可能な複合材料。
- 代用骨としての請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の注射可能な複合材料。
- 代用骨としての使用に適した医薬を製造するための請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の注射可能な複合材料の使用。
- ポリビニルアルコールの水溶液を調製し、次いで、該ポリビニルアルコールの水溶液をリン酸三カルシウム粉末と混合することを含む請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の注射可能な複合材料の製造方法。
