Description
前述したように、集中型ネットワークにおいてはBS101とSTA102との間、及び分散型ネットワークにおいてはSTA102の間に情報交換が存在する。これらの情報交換は、特定の測定のリクエスト及び斯かるリクエストのアクノレッジを含む。斯かるリクエストの1つは、バルク測定リクエスト(BLM−REQ)管理メッセージである。このメッセージは、ビーコン期間202又は測定要求期間205の間にBS101によりSTA102に送信され、命令を含む。これらの命令は、実行されるべき測定のタイプ、測定が何時実行されるべきか、測定期間(duration)、所与の測定が何回繰り返されるべきか、各測定の信頼区間、特定の測定タイプに対する測定閾値(例えば、デジタルテレビジョン信号を検出するための−116dBm/6MHz)、チャンネルの繰り返しシーケンス、及び当業者の知識範囲内での他のフィールドを含むことができる。
測定又はその試みがなされた後、STA102は互いに、又はBS102に、又は両者にレポートを供給する。これらのレポートは、例えば、通常測定報告期間(若しくは複数の期間)203の間、又は緊急測定報告期間(若しくは複数の期間)204の間、又は他の通信におけるビーコン期間(若しくは複数の期間)201、207の間に送信することができる。斯かるレポートは、STA102によりアクノレッジの要求を伴って送信することができると共に、意図する受け取り手からアクノレッジが受信されるまで繰り返し送信することができる。レポートメッセージのフォーマットは、前述したリクエストのフォーマットを辿るものである。今説明している実施例を不明瞭にするのを防止するために、ダブルであろう詳細は省略する。
Claims (16)
- ダイナミックスペクトルアクセスを持つ無線通信ネットワークにおける無線通信方法において、前記方法が、
前記ネットワークにおける1以上の無線局(STA)に測定リクエストを送信するステップと、
前記測定リクエストに従って測定を実行するステップと、
前記測定の結果を報告するステップと、
前記報告するステップを実行するために前記STAの各々に時間を割り当てるステップと、
を有し、
前記割り当てるステップが、1以上のスーパーフレーム内に少なくとも1つの通常報告期間及び少なくとも1つの緊急報告期間を設けるステップを有し、
前記報告するステップが、
前記通常報告期間の間に、前記測定リクエストに従って測定の結果を報告するステップと、
前記緊急報告期間の間に、高い優先度のイベントの前記STAによる検出に対して測定の結果を報告するステップと、
を有する無線通信方法。 - 前記測定リクエストを送信するステップが、該リクエストをアクセスポイント(AP)から前記STAに送信するステップを更に有し、前記ネットワークが集中型ネットワークであるような請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記測定リクエストを送信するステップは、前記リクエストを前記ネットワークにおける1以上のSTAから該ネットワークにおける他のSTAに送信するステップを含み、前記ネットワークが分散型無線ネットワークであるような請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記実行するステップが、前記報告するステップの前に前記測定を繰り返すステップを更に有するような請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記緊急報告期間の間に前記STAの1以上がレポートを供給し、該レポートに基づいて前記STAの零又はそれ以上が或る通信チャンネルから他の通信チャンネルへ切り換わるような請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記測定リクエストを送信するステップが、少なくとも1つのバルク測定リクエスト(BLM−REQ)を送信するステップを更に有するような請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バルク測定リクエストが1以上の単一測定リクエストを更に有するような請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記測定リクエストを送信するステップが、少なくとも1つの信号固有測定リクエストを送信するステップを更に有するような請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記BLM−REQを送信するステップの後に、少なくとも1つのバルク測定応答(BLM−RSP)を送信するステップを更に有するような請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記報告するステップがバルク測定レポート(BLM−REP)を送信するステップを更に有し、該バルク測定レポートが単一測定レポートを更に有するような請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記報告するステップが、信号固有測定レポート、ビーコン測定レポート、CPE統計測定レポート及び位置コンフィギュレーション測定レポートのうちの1以上を供給するステップを更に有するような請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記報告するステップが複数のビンの高速フーリエ変換(FFT)データを送信するステップを更に有し、各ビンが周波数範囲の一部からのデータを含むような請求項1に記載の方法。
- ダイナミックスペクトルアクセスを持つ無線通信ネットワークであって、該ネットワークにおける1以上の無線局(STA)に測定リクエストを送信するように構成されたアクセスポイント(AP)を有し、前記STAが、前記測定リクエストに従って測定を実行すると共に、1以上のスーパーフレーム内に設けられた通常報告期間の間に前記測定リクエストに従って測定の結果を報告し、1以上のスーパーフレーム内に設けられた緊急報告期間の間に高い優先度のイベントの前記STAによる検出に対して測定の結果を報告するように構成されているような無線通信ネットワーク。
- 前記測定リクエストがバルク測定リクエスト(BLM−REQ)を含むような請求項13に記載の無線通信ネットワーク。
- 前記測定リクエストが単一測定リクエストを含むような請求項13に記載の無線通信ネットワーク。
- 前記報告される結果が、信号固有測定レポート、ビーコン測定レポート、CPE統計測定レポート及び位置コンフィギュレーション測定レポートのうちの1以上であるような請求項13に記載の無線通信ネットワーク。
