Description
1)分析用ストリップは、チャネルの底部に薄い吸収性ニトロセルロース層を有し、この薄い吸収性ニトロセルロース層がサンプルの受け渡し及び/又は分離する機能を有するため、チャネルは、伝統的なマイクロ流体チャネルとは対照的に、サンプルの残留物が少なく、また、複数の分析物を検知するために必要な1回のテストにおけるサンプル量も少なくてよい。
2)吸収性ニトロセルロース層と、一定容量の吸収能力を有するので、ニトロセルロース層の量を制御することで、分析用ストリップにより定量的検定を行うことが可能となる。
3)中空マトリックス構造を有する吸収性ニトロセルロース層は、流体サンプルが中空マトリックスを通過する際に、流体サンプル中の気泡を破壊することができる共に、気泡が基板のチャネル又はマイクロ流体チャネルを塞いでしまうことを防止することができるので、定量的検定の結果の正確さが保証される。
本発明は、分析用ストリップの基板を提案するが、その分析用ストリップの基板が用いる物理的及び化学的原理や解決法の適用技術は、当業界においては周知であるため、本明細書においてはその詳細は議論しないものとする。一方、以下の説明において参照する添付図は、説明のために提供されるものであり、縮尺通りである必要はない。

Claims (1)
- その上面に凹状に設けられ、順に連結される、流体サンプルを受けるための第1のエリア、第2のエリア、第3のエリアの3つのエリアを備えるチャネルを有する分析用ストリップの基板であって、
前記流体サンプルを引き渡すための前記第2のエリア及び前記流体サンプルが反応する場所である前記第3のエリアの各々は、その底部において中空マトリックス構造を有するニトロセルロース層を備え、
前記ニトロセルロース層は、ニトロセルロース溶液を前記第2のエリア及び前記第3のエリアの底部に流し込み、その後、乾燥させる工程を経て形成され、
前記ニトロセルロース溶液は、ニトロセルロース粉末と、エステル及びケトンを含有する有機溶剤とを容量比1対9で混合して形成され、
前記第2のエリアの前記ニトロセルロース層の平均厚は、前記第3のエリアの前記ニトロセルロース層の平均厚よりも小さく、
前記第2のエリア及び前記第3のエリアの各々の幅は少なくとも0.3mmであることを特徴とする分析用ストリップの基板。
