Description

Claims (18)
- 第1のアクセス・ノードへメッセージを送信するために複数の利用可能な通信リンクのうちの1つを選択するように構成された無線端末であって、
前記第1のアクセス・ノードを持つ第1の通信リンクと、前記第1のアクセス・ノードとは異なる第2のアクセス・ノードを持つ第2の通信リンクとを同時に保持するための手段であって、前記第1の通信リンクは、第1の物理接続ポイント識別子によって識別される第1の物理接続ポイントにおいて、前記第1のアクセス・ノードにおいて終端しており、前記第2の通信リンクは、第2の物理接続ポイント識別子によって識別される第2の物理接続ポイントにおいて、前記第2のアクセス・ノードにおいて終端しており、前記第1のアクセス・ノードと前記第2のアクセス・ノードとは第3の通信リンクにより通信可能である、手段と、
前記第1の物理接続ポイント識別子を含むメッセージを生成するための手段と、
前記メッセージの通信に使用されるために、前記第1の通信リンクと前記第2の通信リンクとのうちの1つのみを選択するための手段であって、前記第1の通信リンクと前記第2の通信リンクとのうちの1つのみを選択することは、前記第1の通信リンクと前記第2の通信リンクとが同時に保持されている間に起こる、手段と、
前記第1の通信リンクが選択された場合、前記メッセージを、前記第1の通信リンクを経由して前記第1のアクセス・ノードへ送信し、前記第2の通信リンクが選択された場合、前記メッセージを、前記第2の通信リンク、前記第2のアクセス・ノード、および前記第3の通信リンクを経由して前記第1のアクセス・ノードへ送信するための手段であって、前記第1のアクセス・ノードは、前記第3の通信リンクを経由して前記メッセージを受信すると、前記第3の通信リンクを経由して前記第2のアクセス・ノードへ応答メッセージを送信する、手段と
を備え、
前記物理接続ポイント識別子は、セル識別子を備える、無線端末。 - 前記第1の通信リンクと前記第2の通信リンクとのうちの1つを選択することは、リンク・レイテンシ要件、リンク・チャネル条件要件、リンク誤り率要件、およびリンク送信電力要件のうちの少なくとも1つに基づく請求項1に記載の無線端末。
- 前記物理接続ポイント識別子は更にキャリア識別子を備える請求項1に記載の無線端末。
- 前記物理接続ポイント識別子は更にセクタ識別子を備える請求項3に記載の無線端末。
- 前記第1のアクセス・ノードによって送信された多くのブロードキャスト信号から、前記第1の物理接続ポイント識別子を決定するための手段を更に備える請求項1に記載の無線端末。
- 前記第2のアクセス・ノードによって送信された多くのブロードキャスト信号から、前記第2の物理接続ポイント識別子を決定するための手段を更に備える請求項5に記載の無線端末。
- 前記第1のアクセス・ノードと前記第2のアクセス・ノードとは基地局であり、
前記メッセージを送信するための手段は、直交周波数分割多重化信号を送信するための手段を備える請求項6に記載の無線端末。 - 第1のアクセス・ノードへメッセージを送信するために複数の利用可能な通信リンクのうちの1つを選択するように構成された無線端末であって、
前記第1のアクセス・ノードを持つ第1の通信リンクと、前記第1のアクセス・ノードとは異なる第2のアクセス・ノードを持つ第2の通信リンクとを同時に保持し、第1の物理接続ポイント識別子を含むメッセージを生成し、前記メッセージの通信に使用されるために、前記第1の通信リンクと前記第2の通信リンクとのうちの1つのみを選択するように構成された回路を備え、
前記第1の通信リンクは、前記第1の物理接続ポイト識別子によって識別される第1の物理接続ポイントにおいて、前記第1のアクセス・ノードにおいて終端しており、前記第2の通信リンクは、第2の物理接続ポイント識別子によって識別される第2の物理接続ポイントにおいて、前記第2のアクセス・ノードにおいて終端しており、前記第1のアクセス・ノードと前記第2のアクセス・ノードとは第3の通信リンクにより通信可能であり、前記第1の通信リンクと前記第2の通信リンクとのうちの1つのみを選択することは、前記第1の通信リンクと前記第2の通信リンクとが同時に保持されている間に起こり、
前記回路はさらに、前記第1の通信リンクが選択された場合、前記メッセージを、前記第1の通信リンクを経由して前記第1のアクセス・ノードへ送信し、前記第2の通信リンクが選択された場合、前記メッセージを、前記第2の通信リンク、前記第2のアクセス・ノード、および前記第3の通信リンクを経由して前記第1のアクセス・ノードへ送信し、
前記第1のアクセス・ノードは、前記第3の通信リンクを経由して前記メッセージを受信すると、前記第3の通信リンクを経由して前記第2のアクセス・ノードへ応答メッセージを送信するようになっており、
前記物理接続ポイント識別子は、セル識別子を備える、無線端末。 - 前記第1の通信リンクと前記第2の通信リンクとのうちの1つを選択することは、リンク・レイテンシ要件、リンク・チャネル条件要件、リンク誤り率要件、およびリンク送信電力要件のうちの少なくとも1つに基づく請求項8に記載の無線端末。
- 前記物理接続ポイント識別子は、キャリア識別子を更に備える請求項9に記載の無線端末。
- 前記物理接続ポイント識別子は、セクタ識別子を更に備える請求項10に記載の無線端末。
- 前記回路は更に、前記第1のアクセス・ノードによって送信された多くのブロードキャスト信号から、前記第1の物理接続ポイント識別子を決定するように構成された請求項9に記載の無線端末。
- 前記回路は更に、前記第2のアクセス・ノードによって送信された多くのブロードキャスト信号から、前記第2の物理接続ポイント識別子を決定するように構成された請求項12に記載の無線端末。
- 前記第1のアクセス・ノードと前記第2のアクセス・ノードとは基地局であり、前記メッセージを送信することは、直交周波数分割多重化信号を送信することを備える請求項12に記載の無線端末。
- 第1のアクセス・ノードへメッセージを送信するために複数の利用可能な通信リンクのうちの1つを選択するための方法であって、
無線端末によって、前記第1のアクセス・ノードを持つ第1の通信リンクと、前記第1のアクセス・ノードとは異なる第2のアクセス・ノードを持つ第2の通信リンクとを同時に保持することであって、前記第1の通信リンクは、第1の物理接続ポイント識別子によって識別される第1の物理接続ポイントにおいて、前記第1のアクセス・ノードにおいて終端しており、前記第2の通信リンクは、第2の物理接続ポイント識別子によって識別される第2の物理接続ポイントにおいて、前記第2のアクセス・ノードにおいて終端しており、前記第1のアクセス・ノードと前記第2のアクセス・ノードとは第3の通信リンクにより通信可能である、ことと、
前記第1の物理接続ポイント識別子を含むメッセージを生成することと、
前記メッセージの通信に使用されるために、前記第1の通信リンクと前記第2の通信リンクとのうちの1つのみを選択することであって、前記第1の通信リンクと前記第2の通信リンクとのうちの1つのみを選択することは、前記第1の通信リンクと前記第2の通信リンクとが同時に保持されている間に起こる、ことと、
前記第1の通信リンクが選択された場合、前記メッセージを、前記第1の通信リンクを経由して前記第1のアクセス・ノードへ送信し、前記第2の通信リンクが選択された場合、前記メッセージを、前記第2の通信リンク、前記第2のアクセス・ノード、および前記第3の通信リンクを経由して前記第1のアクセス・ノードへ送信することであって、前記第1のアクセス・ノードは、前記第3の通信リンクを経由して前記メッセージを受信すると、前記第3の通信リンクを経由して前記第2のアクセス・ノードへ応答メッセージを送信する、ことと
を備え、

前記第1のアクセス・ノードを持つ第1の通信リンクと、前記第1のアクセス・ノードとは異なる第2のアクセス・ノードを持つ第2の通信リンクとを同時に保持させ、ここにおいて、前記第1の通信リンクは、第1の物理接続ポイント識別子によって識別される第1の物理接続ポイントにおいて、前記第1のアクセス・ノードにおいて終端しており、前記第2の通信リンクは、第2の物理接続ポイント識別子によって識別される第2の物理接続ポイントにおいて、前記第2のアクセス・ノードにおいて終端しており、前記第1のアクセス・ノードと前記第2のアクセス・ノードとは第3の通信リンクにより通信可能であり、
前記第1の物理接続ポイント識別子を含むメッセージを生成させ、
前記メッセージの通信に使用されるために、前記第1の通信リンクと前記第2の通信リンクとのうちの1つのみを選択させ、ここにおいて、前記第1の通信リンクと前記第2の通信リンクとのうちの1つのみを選択することは、前記第1の通信リンクと前記第2の通信リンクとが同時に保持されている間に起こり、
前記第1の通信リンクが選択された場合、前記メッセージを、前記第1の通信リンクを経由して前記第1のアクセス・ノードへ送信させ、前記第2の通信リンクが選択された場合、前記メッセージを、前記第2の通信リンク、前記第2のアクセス・ノード、および前記第3の通信リンクを経由して前記第1のアクセス・ノードへ送信させ、ここにおいて、前記第1のアクセス・ノードは、前記第3の通信リンクを経由して前記メッセージを受信すると、前記第3の通信リンクを経由して前記第2のアクセス・ノードへ応答メッセージを送信する、
