Description
Claims (11)
- 信号を制御する装置であって、
第1の信号を送信する送信機と、
前記送信機に結合され、放射偏波パターンで前記信号を放射するアンテナであり、ローカル放送局により送信された第2の信号を受信する受信機に更に結合されたアンテナと、
前記アンテナに結合され、前記アンテナの偏波方位に基づいてアンテナ制御信号を生成する検出器と、
前記検出器及び前記送信機に結合され、前記放射された第1の信号が前記アンテナ制御信号及び前記受信した第2の信号に基づいて適切な動作のための必要な偏波パターンと一致しない偏波パターンを示したときに前記送信機の送信信号電力を低減するコントローラと
を有する装置。 - 前記検出器は、前記アンテナの放射要素の一部である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記検出器は、前記アンテナの機械的支持体の一部である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記送信機の動作を無効にする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記アンテナを前記送信機及び前記受信機に交互に結合するスイッチを有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置は、無線データ通信ネットワークで動作する装置に含まれる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 送信用の信号を処理する方法であって、
送信用の第1の信号を生成するステップと、
前記第1の信号を放射するために使用されるアンテナの偏波方位に基づいてアンテナ制御信号を生成するステップであり、前記アンテナは、ローカル放送局により送信された第2の信号を受信するためにも使用されるステップと、
偏波パターンで前記第1の信号を放射するステップと、
前記放射された第1の信号が前記アンテナ制御信号及び前記受信した第2の信号に基づいて適切な動作のための必要な偏波と一致しない偏波を示したときに前記送信用の信号の送信信号レベルを低減するステップと
を有する方法 - 前記低減するステップは、前記信号が放射することを回避することを更に有する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記放射された信号が望ましくない偏波を示したときにエラー状態が存在することを示すステップを更に有する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 偏波方位を制御する装置であって、
偏波方位に第1の無線通信信号を送信する手段と、
前記第1の無線通信信号及びローカル放送局により送信された第2の信号を受信する手段と、
前記偏波方位を検出する手段と、
前記偏波方位が前記検出された偏波方位及び前記受信した第2の信号に基づいて前記第1の無線通信信号を送信するための正確な偏波方位でない場合に、前記送信する手段の送信信号電力を低減する手段と
を有する装置。 - 前記送信信号電力を低減する手段は、前記送信する手段を無効にする手段を更に有する、請求項10に記載の装置。
