Description
Claims (10)
- 切替回路、スナバ回路およびMEMS保護回路を備えた過電流保護構成要素と、
前記過電流保護構成要素と協働する回路遮断要素と、
を備えたMEMSマイクロスイッチアレイベースの限流回路安全装置であって、
前記切替回路は複数のMEMSスイッチを備え、
前記スナバ回路は前記MEMSスイッチと並列に結合され、前記MEMSスイッチの高速の接点分離中の電圧のオーバーシュートを制限するように構成され、
前記MEMS保護回路は、前記複数のMEMSスイッチと連結し、1つ以上の前記MEMSスイッチからの電流を迂回させるように構成され、
前記過電流保護構成要素は、過電流状態に応答して前記回路遮断要素がトリッピングする前に、前記切替回路の前記MEMSスイッチを開くように構成され、
前記過電流保護構成要素は、前記過電流状態に応答して、前記電流が単一のゼロ交差事象に近い異なる時間において、複数の前記MEMSスイッチを開くように構成され、それにより、前記回路遮断要素の遮断容量を超える電流の値で前記回路遮断要素が開くことを防いで、複数の前記MEMSスイッチにより前記回路遮断要素をバックアップして前記回路遮断要素を損傷から保護し、それにより、前記回路遮断要素の遮断定格を拡張する、
装置。 - 過電流保護構成要素と切替要素とを備えたMEMSマイクロスイッチアレイベースの限流回路安全装置であって、
前記過電流保護構成要素は、
複数のMEMSスイッチを備えた切替回路と、
負荷電圧値および負荷電流値のうちの少なくとも1つを監視するように構成され、前記負荷電圧値および負荷電流値のうちの少なくとも1つがそれぞれの所定の値から変化した場合には故障信号を生成するように構成された論理回路と、
前記切替回路と連結し、前記故障信号に応答して、前記切替回路からの電流を迂回させるMEMS保護回路と、
を備え、
前記MEMS保護回路は、
パルス回路と、
前記故障信号を受け取り、前記故障信号に応答してパルス回路を動作させるトリガ回路と、
前記パルス回路と前記トリガ回路とに結合された平衡ダイオードブリッジと、
を備え、
前記切替要素は前記過電流保護構成要素と協働し、
前記切替要素は手動又は自動で開かれ、
前記過電流保護構成要素は、過電流状態に応答して前記切替要素が開く前に、前記切替回路の前記MEMSスイッチを開くように構成され、複数の前記MEMSスイッチにより前記切替要素をバックアップして前記切替要素を損傷から保護し、前記切替要素の遮断容量を超える電流の値で前記切替要素が開くことを防いで、それにより、前記切替要素の遮断定格を拡張し、
前記過電流保護構成要素は、前記故障信号が生成した後にモニターされた負荷電圧値および負荷電流値のうちのひとつの単一のゼロ交差事象に近い異なる時間において、複数の前記MEMSスイッチを開くように構成された、
装置。 - 前記過電流保護構成要素が、
前記MEMS保護回路と結合され、負荷電圧値および負荷電流値のうちの少なくとも1つを監視するように構成された論理回路と、
前記MEMS保護回路と前記論理回路とに結合された電源ステージ回路と、
を備え、
前記負荷電圧値または負荷電流値の所定の値からの変化に応答して、故障信号を生成して前記MEMS保護回路に送信する、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記故障信号の応答して、前記MEMS保護回路が前記切替回路の1つ以上のMEMSスイッチからの負荷電流を迂回する、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記負荷電流の迂回に応答して、前記1つ以上のMEMSスイッチを開く、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 複数のMEMSスイッチを備える過電流保護構成要素を回路遮断要素と物理的に協働させるステップと、
過電流状態に応答して前記回路遮断要素がトリッピングする前に、前記MEMSスイッチを開くように構成するステップと、
複数の前記MEMSスイッチにより前記回路遮断要素をバックアップして前記回路遮断要素を損傷から保護し、前記回路遮断要素の遮断容量を超える電流の値で前記回路遮断要素が開くことを防いで、それにより、前記回路遮断要素の遮断定格を拡張し、
前記複数のMEMSスイッチを流れる負荷電流値を監視するステップと、
前記負荷電流値が、所定の負荷電流値から変化したか否かを判定するステップと、
前記過電流状態によりモニターされた負荷電流値が所定の負荷電流値から変化する場合に、前記負荷電流の単一のゼロ交差事象に近い異なる時間において、複数の前記MEMSスイッチの開くステップと、
を含む、MEMSマイクロスイッチアレイベースの限流回路安全装置の実装方法。 - 前記過電流保護構成要素が、入力制御コマンドを受け取るように構成されている、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記過電流保護構成要素が、負荷電圧を監視するように構成されている、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記負荷電圧値の所定の値からの変化に応答して、前記過電流保護構成要素が1つ以上のMEMSスイッチからの負荷電流を迂回する、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記負荷電流の迂回に応答して、前記1つ以上のMEMSスイッチを開く、請求項9に記載の方法。
