Claims (1)
- 中空形状を有する長いシャフト(14)、
該シャフトに接続したハンドル・アセンブリー(12)、
手前側端部と遠方側端部を有し、ハンドル・アセンブリーとシャフトの間に伸びるように配置されている操作ロッド(16b)、
操作ロッドの遠方側端部に配置され、操作ロッドにより、長いシャフトに対して伸ばした状態と、長いシャフトに対して縮めた状態の間で前後に移動でき縮めた状態に偏倚されるニードル・アセンブリー(20b)、
手前側端部と遠方側端部を有する縫合糸用スロット(28b)を形成し、後ろ側アーム(36b)と捕捉用アーム(38b)を有するニードル・アセンブリーの二股の部分、
を具備し、後ろ側アームと捕捉用アームは縫合糸用スロットの近位端部で互いに一体になり、後ろ側アームと捕捉用アームは、ニードル・アセンブリーが縮めた状態にある時に接近した関係を有すると共にニードル・アセンブリーが伸びた状態にある時に離れた間隔を置いた関係を有し、後ろ側アームと捕捉用アームが離れた関係に偏倚され、
後ろ側アームの遠方端部に形成された鋭利なニードル先端部(22b)、
縫合糸を保持するよう縫合糸用スロットの遠方端部に開口部(52)の回りにフックを形成するように鋭利なニードル先端部から手前側に伸びる小部分(44)、
を具備し、開口部の一部は、ニードル・アセンブリーが縮んだ状態にある時に長いシャフトの遠方側に残り、
捕捉用アームの遠方端部は、縫合糸用スロットの近位端部よりも縫合糸用スロットの遠方端部に近い位置にて近位に延びる部分と整列し、
ニードル・アセンブリーが伸びた状態にある時に縫合糸用スロット(28b)内に幅広の通路(42)を形成するよう捕捉用アームから離れて捕捉用アームの遠方端部が延びるようになす捕捉用アームの曲がり部(46、48、50)、
を具備し、後ろ側アームと捕捉用アームは離れた関係にあって、ニードル・アセンブリーが部分的に縮んだ状態にある時に通路に縫合糸を寄せ集めるために捕捉用アームの遠方端部が後ろ側アームと接触される近位に縫合糸の通路を維持するように捕捉用アーム(38b)の遠方端部を後ろ側アーム(36b)に向って延ばして接触させ、ニードル・アセンブリーが縮んだ状態に動かされる時に、縫合糸を後ろ側アームに向って寄せ集めて縫合糸用スロット内への縫合糸の捕捉を容易にするように捕捉用アーム(38b)の遠方側先端部を後ろ側アーム(36b)に向って動かして接触させるようにすると共に、鋭利なニードル先端部から遠方側に伸びる小部分(44)と整列するように捕捉用アーム(38b)の遠方端部を真っ直ぐにすることを特徴とする、軸心に沿って伸び且つ手前側端部と遠方側端部を有し、身体組織を通して縫合糸(32、32b)を動かすように操作できる外科用装置(10、10b、110)。
