Description
本開示は、開胸外科手順のために使用されるピンセットに関する。より具体的には、本開示は、組織を密封するための機械的クランプ圧および電気外科エネルギーの組み合わせを適用する、開胸ピンセット、ならびに組織密封に沿って組織を切断するために選択的に前進可能なナイフに関する。

該顎部材の各々は、該顎部材の間に保持された組織を通して電気外科エネルギーを連絡するための、導電性密封プレートを備え、
該顎部材のうちの少なくとも1つが、該顎部材の長さに沿って規定されるナイフチャネルを備え、該ナイフチャネルは、該ナイフチャネルに沿って切断機構を往復させるような寸法にされる、第一のシャフト部材および第二のシャフト部材;ならびに
該切断機構を、第一の位置から少なくとも1つの引き続く位置へと選択的に進めるためのアクチュエータであって、該第一の位置において、該切断機構は、該顎部材の間に保持される組織の近位に位置し、そして該少なくとも1つの引き続く位置において、該切断機構は、該顎部材の間に保持される組織の遠位に位置し、該アクチュエータが、ラックおよびピニオンシステムと協働するトリガを備え、該切断機構を、該顎部材の間に保持された組織を通して、該第一の位置から第二の位置へと進める、アクチュエータ、
を備える、開胸電気外科ピンセット。

前記ラックおよびピニオンシステムが、以下:
前記トリガに接続された、第一のギア様ラック;
前記切断機構に接続された、第二のギア様ラック;および
該第一のラックと第二のラックとの間に配置されたピニオン、
を備える、項目1に記載の組織を密封するための開胸電気外科ピンセット。
(項目3)
前記ラックおよびピニオンシステムが、前記第一のシャフト部材および第二のシャフト部材のうちの1つの内部に配置される、項目1に記載の組織を密封するための開胸電気外科ピンセット。
(項目4)
前記アクチュエータの前記トリガが近位に引かれ、前記ラックおよびピニオンシステムを作動させ、切断スロットを介して前記切断機構を遠位に進める、項目1に記載の組織を密封するための開胸電気外科ピンセット。
(項目5)
前記顎部材が前記第一の位置に位置する場合に、前記切断機構の往復を防止するための、安全ロックアウトをさらに備える、項目1に記載の組織を密封するための開胸電気外科ピンセット。
(項目6)
前記安全ロックアウトが、前記顎部材のうちの少なくとも1つの一部分を形成する、項目5に記載の組織を密封するための開胸電気外科ピンセット。
(項目7)
前記安全ロックアウトが、前記切断機構の一部分を形成する、項目5に記載の組織を密封するための開胸電気外科ピンセット。
(項目8)
前記切断機構を前記第一の位置に自動的に付勢するための、少なくとも1つのばねをさらに備える、項目1に記載の組織を密封するための開胸電気外科ピンセット。
(項目9)
前記切断機構を前記第一の位置に自動的に戻す前記少なくとも1つのばねが、該切断機構に機械的に関連している、項目8に記載の組織を密封するための開胸電気外科ピンセット。
(項目10)
第一のラックが、前記トリガと一体的に関連している、項目2に記載の組織を密封するための開胸電気外科ピンセット。
(項目11)
第二のラックが、前記切断機構と一体的に関連している、項目2に記載の組織を密封するための開胸電気外科ピンセット。

Claims (11)

該顎部材の各々は、該顎部材の間に保持された組織を通して電気外科エネルギーを連絡するための、導電性密封プレートを備え、
該顎部材のうちの少なくとも1つが、該顎部材の長さに沿って規定されるナイフチャネルを備え、該ナイフチャネルは、該ナイフチャネルに沿って切断機構を往復させるような寸法にされる、第一のシャフト部材および第二のシャフト部材;ならびに
該切断機構を、第一の位置から少なくとも1つの引き続く位置へと選択的に進めるためのアクチュエータであって、該第一の位置において、該切断機構は、該顎部材の間に保持される組織の近位に位置し、そして該少なくとも1つの引き続く位置において、該切断機構は、該顎部材の間に保持される組織の遠位に位置し、該アクチュエータが、ラックおよびピニオンシステムと協働するトリガを備え、該切断機構を、該顎部材の間に保持された組織を通して、該第一の位置から第二の位置へと進める、アクチュエータ、

該顎部材は、3kg/cm2〜16kg/cm2の動作範囲内の大きさの圧力を加え、
ここで、該顎部材の間のギャップ距離が約0.001インチ〜約0.006インチの間であり;そして
ここで、血管密封の際に、血管の組織中のコラーゲン、エラスチンおよび基底物質が有意に減少した境界を有する融合塊に再形成される、

前記トリガに接続された、第一のギア様ラック;
前記切断機構に接続された、第二のギア様ラック;および

- 前記アクチュエータの前記トリガが近位に引かれ、前記ラックおよびピニオンシステムを作動させ、切断スロットを介して前記切断機構を遠位に進める、請求項1に記載の脈管密封のための開胸電気外科ピンセット。
