選択されたネットワークインターフェイスをパラメータとしてネットワーク層に送信することとのために、アプリケーション(2)とプロトコルスタック(3)のネットワーク層(31)との間にインターフェイスを提供することとによって、複数のネットワークインターフェイスを備えるデバイス(1)のアプリケーション(2)が、データの送信のために、複数のネットワークインターフェイスの中からネットワークインターフェイスを選択することを可能にする方法であって、ネットワークインターフェイスの利用可能性についての情報が、アプリケーション層が照会した(51)、ネットワーク層からの情報によって提供される、方法。 - アプリケーション(2)とネットワーク層(31)との間のインターフェイスが、Java(登録商標)インターフェイスである請求項1に記載の方法。
- プロトコルおよびネットワークインターフェイスについての情報を収容するオブジェクトが、選択されたネットワークインターフェイスをパラメータとしてネットワーク層(31)に送信するように、アプリケーション(2)によって生成される請求項1に記載の方法。
