Description
Claims (2)
- 複数のデータ記憶媒体を提供するステップと、
データベース、1つまたは複数のデータ記憶装置、複数の第1の記憶セル、前記複数の第1の記憶セルの少なくとも1つから前記1つまたは複数のデータ記憶装置の少なくとも1つに前記複数のデータ記憶媒体の各々を送ることが可能なロボットアクセッサを含む自動データライブラリを提供するステップと、
複数の第2の記憶セルを含む記憶ボールトを準備するステップと、
前記複数のデータ記憶媒体のうちの1つのデータ記憶媒体を選択するステップと、
選択された前記データ記憶媒体のデータ状態を設定するステップであり、選択された前記データ記憶媒体のデータ状態は、オンライン、オフラインおよびボールトからなる群から選択される、前記設定するステップと、
選択された前記データ記憶媒体のデータ状態をオンラインに設定する場合に、前記1つまたは複数のデータ記憶装置の1つに、該データ記憶媒体を取り外し可能に配置するステップと、
選択された前記データ記憶媒体のデータ状態をオフラインに設定する場合に、前記複数の第1の記憶セルの1つに該データ記憶媒体を取り外し可能に配置するステップと、
選択された前記データ記憶媒体のデータ状態をボールトに設定する場合に、前記複数の第2の記憶セルの1つに該データ記憶媒体を取り外し可能に配置するステップと
を含む、データ記憶方法であって、
さらに、
前記データ記憶媒体が、予め、前記1つまたは複数のデータ記憶装置の1つに搭載されたかどうか決定するステップと、
前記データ記憶媒体が、予め、前記1つまたは複数のデータ記憶装置の1つに搭載された場合に、該データ記憶媒体の最新の搭載の日付および時間と、現在の日付および時間が一致するかどうかを決定するステップと、
前記現在の日付および時間が、前記先の搭載の日付および時間と一致する場合に、前記データ記憶媒体の使用期間を確立し、前記データベースで該使用期間を保存するステップとを含み、
さらに、
前記データ記憶媒体の使用期間を検索し、前記現在の日付および時間が、該データ記憶媒体の使用期間と一致するかどうかを決定するステップと、
前記現在の日付および時間が、前記使用期間に一致する場合に、前記データベースにおいて、該データ記憶媒体の予測尤度を高に設定するステップとを含み、
予測尤度を高に設定された前記データ記憶媒体を、前記1つまたは複数のデータ記憶装置の1つに搭載するステップと、
を含み、
さらに、
前記データ記憶媒体に関するアプリケーションタイプを決定するステップと、
前記現在の日付および時間が、前記データ記憶媒体の使用期間と一致しない場合に、所定の搭載評価期間内に搭載されたすべての記憶媒体に関して、アプリケーションタイプを決定するステップと、
前記データ記憶媒体のアプリケーションタイプが、前記搭載評価期間内に搭載されたすべての記憶媒体に関して、アプリケーションタイプと一致するかどうかを決定するステップと、
前記データ記憶媒体のアプリケーションタイプが、前記搭載評価期間内に搭載されたすべての記憶媒体に関して、アプリケーションタイプと一致する場合に、該データ記憶媒体の予測尤度を中間に設定するステップと、
前記データ記憶媒体のアプリケーションタイプが、前記搭載評価期間内に搭載されたすべての記憶媒体に関して、アプリケーションタイプと一致しない場合に、該データ記憶媒体の予測尤度を低に設定するステップと、
前記データ記憶媒体が所定の再搭載間隔内に搭載されたかどうかを決定するステップと、
前記データ記憶媒体が前記再搭載間隔内に搭載された場合に、前記データベースにおいて、該データ記憶媒体の再搭載時間カウンタをインクリメントするステップと、
前記データ記憶媒体が前記再搭載間隔内に搭載されなかった場合に、前記データベースにおいて、該データ記憶媒体の再搭載時間カウンタを0に設定するステップと、
前記データ記憶媒体の予測尤度を中間に設定する場合、前記データ記憶媒体の再搭載時間カウンタが0である場合、および前記データ記憶媒体に関する保留の読み出しまたは書き込み要求がない場合に、該データ記憶媒体のデータ状態をオフラインに設定し、前記データ記憶装置から該データ記憶媒体を取り外すステップと、
前記データ記憶媒体が最後に搭載されたときからの時間間隔が、前記再搭載間隔より大きい場合、および前記データ記憶媒体の予測尤度が低に設定される場合に、該データ記憶媒体のデータ状態をボールトに設定し、前記ボールトで前記複数の第2の記憶セルの1つに、該データ記憶媒体を配置するステップとを含む、
方法。 - コンピューターに対して、請求項1に記載の方法の各ステップを実行させるためのコンピューター実行可能なプログラム。
