Description
本発明の装置、特に制御手段は、皮膚の特定の生物物理学的特性、例えば肌の色等に従って最大値を選択する選択手段をさらに含んでいてもよい。選択手段は、指示計が指示している正しい肌の特性の組み合わせに装置を設定することのできる指示計に沿って動かすことのできる制御ノブを有していても良い。

付記(1):人間の皮膚上の毛髪が発育するのを減少させる装置であって、前記装置は、波長が550乃至1200nmの間の範囲で放射される電磁放射線の源を含み、前記装置が皮膚へ送ることのできる放射線のエネルギー密度の最大値を1乃至12J/cm 2 に制限する制御手段を含むことを特徴とする装置。
付記(2):処置時、前記制御手段が皮膚へ送られる放射線のエネルギー密度の最大値を5乃至9J/cm 2 に制限することを特徴とする付記(1)に記載の装置。
付記(3):処置時、前記制御手段が選択した処置する皮膚の特性によって最大値を選択することを特徴とする付記(1)に記載の装置。
付記(4):前記波長の範囲が600乃至950nmの間であることを特徴とする付記(1)に記載の装置。
付記(5):前記源が1乃至100msの間の速度で放射線パルスを放射するパルス源であることを特徴とする付記(1)に記載の装置。
付記(6):前記放射線パルスの速度が1乃至30msの間であることを特徴とする付記(5)に記載の装置。
付記(7):前記放射線パルスの速度が10乃至20msの間であることを特徴とする付記(6)に記載の装置。
付記(8):前記源が、600乃至950nmの間の波長スペクトルの範囲を有する閃光ランプを含み、その中の前記放射線パルスの速度が10乃至20msの間であることを特徴とする付記(2)に記載の装置。
付記(9):前記源が連続的な源であり、前記制御手段が皮膚上を移動する装置の速度を測ることができ、また、測定された速度の機能として源から放射される放射線のエネルギー密度を調節するよう設計されおり、それによって、処置される皮膚の領域に送られる放射線のエネルギー密度が最大でも最大値と等しいことを特徴とする付記(1)に記載の装置。
付記(10):前記源が、閃光ランプを含むことを特徴とする付記(5)に記載の装置。
付記(11):人間の皮膚上の毛髪が発育するのを減少させる方法であって、
皮膚に最低でも電磁放射線の1つのパルスを送り、前記電磁放射線の波長スペクトルが550乃至1200nmの間から選択されることを含み、前記皮膚に放射される電磁放射線のエネルギー密度が1乃至12J/cm 2 の間から選択されており、好ましくは5乃至9J/cm 2 であり、パルスの速度が1乃至100msであり、好ましくは1乃至30msであり、それによって前記毛髪の発育段階が発育サイクルの休止段階になり、よって毛髪の毛包に永久的な損傷を与えることを大幅に防ぐことを特徴とする方法。
付記(12):前記波長スペクトルが600乃至950nmの間であることを特徴とする付記(11)に記載の方法。
Claims (5)
- ヒトの皮膚における毛髪の成長を低減するためのデバイスであって、
前記デバイスは、550及び1200nmの間における波長の範囲において放出する電磁放射の源を具備すると共に、
前記デバイスは、5及び9J/cm2の間における最大の値まで皮膚に前記放射の送ることが可能なエネルギー密度を制限するための制御手段を具備すると共に、
前記送ることが可能なエネルギー密度の上記の最大の値は、10及び20msの間における持続時間を有する放射の一つの単一のパルスの形態で送られる、
デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載のデバイスにおいて、
動作の間に、前記制御手段は、処置される皮膚の選択された性質に従って前記最大の値を選択することを特徴とする、デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載のデバイスにおいて、
前記波長の範囲は、600及び950nmの間にあることを特徴とする、デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載のデバイスにおいて、
前記源は、連続的な源であると共に、
前記制御手段は、前記処置される皮膚のエリアへ送られた放射のエネルギー密度が最も多いときで前記最大の値に等しいものであるように、前記デバイスが前記処置される皮膚にわたって移動させられる速度を測定するために、及び、測定された速度の関数として前記源によって放出された放射のエネルギー密度を調節するために、設計されたものであることを特徴とする、デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載のデバイスにおいて、
前記源は、せん光ランプを具備することを特徴とする、デバイス。
