Abstract
Un dispositivo de foto-depilación (1) comprende: un alojamiento portátil (10) al menos con un orificio de ventana (70); una lámpara (20) acomodada en el alojamiento para la generación de luz que tiene un intervalo espectral aproximadamente de 575 a 1700 nm; y un dispositivo de control (70) para la excitación de la lámpara (20). La lámpara es encendida en impulsos breves que tienen una duración de impulso en el intervalo de 1.1 a 1.9 ms, de preferencia, aproximadamente de 1.8 ms, y una frecuencia de repetición de impulso en el intervalo de 0.1 a 0.5 Hz. La fluencia en el nivel de piel se encuentra en el intervalo de 2 a 7 J/cm2, en función del tipo de piel, de manera particular, de: 5 a 7 J/cm2 para tipos de piel I, II, III; 4 a 6 J/cm2 para tipo de piel IV; 3 a 5 J/cm2 para tipo de piel V; y 2 a 3 J/cm2 para tipo de piel VI.
