Description
(a) 第VIB族金属酸化物と水性アンモニアとを混合し、第VI族金属化合物水性混合物を形成すること;
(b) 最初の反応器中で、工程(a)の水性混合物を、硫化水素を含むガスで、第VIB族金属1ポンド当たり8SCFより大きな硫化水素付与量まで硫化してスラリーを形成すること;
(c) 前記スラリーを、第VIII族金属化合物で促進すること;
(d) 前記工程(c)のスラリーを、212°Fで少なくとも2CsT(又は、32.8SSU)の粘度を有する第一炭化水素油と混合し、混合物Xを形成すること;
(e) 前記混合物Xを、第二反応領域内で、水素ガス及び第二炭化水素油と一緒にし、然も、前記第二炭化水素油は50°F〜300°Fの範囲の沸点及び前記第一炭化水素油より低い粘度を有し、それにより液体炭化水素と混合された活性触媒組成物を形成すること;及び
(f) 前記活性触媒組成物を回収すること;
により製造される。
本発明は、212°Fで少なくとも2cSt(又は、32.8SSU)の粘度を有する第一炭化水素油及び50°F〜300°Fの範囲の沸点を有する第二炭化水素油を添加することにより形成された新規な高度に活性なスラリー触媒組成物に関する。第一炭化水素油についての好ましい粘度範囲は、212°Fで少なくとも約2cSt(又は、32.8SSU)〜212°Fで15cSt(又は、77.9SSU)である。
540gのMoO3を、79gのNH3及び2381gのH2Oと混合し、合計3000gの溶液を形成する。次にその溶液を、H2中に20%のH2Sを入れたガス混合物をその溶液中へ強く撹拌しながら通すことにより、10.71SCFのH2Sと反応させる。反応器温度は150°Fであり、全圧力は400psigであり、反応時間は4時間である。反応後、36gのNiを含む460gのNiSO4溶液を、上で得られたスラリーに添加する。次に得られたスラリー混合物を3500gの真空ガスオイルと100°Fで混合する。VGOの粘度は212°Fで5cStである。得られた混合物を次にポンプで連続的流動撹拌タンク反応器(好ましくは混合流動反応器)へ送り、ヘプタン及びH2と混合する。ヘプタン/VGOの比は9:1であり、H2ガス流量は5000SCF/Bである。反応器の圧力は2500psigであり、反応器温度は400°Fであり、全反応時間は1時間である。反応生成物を500°Fの温度(HPSは同じく2500psig)の高温高圧分離器へ送り、ガスと液体スラリーとを分離する。得られた液体スラリーは高度に活性な触媒成分を含む。
Claims (10)
- 以下を含む、重質油の水素化転化に適した触媒組成物の製造方法:
(a) 第VIB族金属酸化物と水性アンモニアとを混合し、第VI族金属化合物水性混合物を形成すること;
(b) 第一反応領域中で、工程(a)の水性混合物を、硫化水素を含むガスで、第VIB族金属1ポンド当たり8SCFより大きな硫化水素付与量まで硫化してスラリーを形成すること;
(c) 前記スラリーを、第VIII族金属化合物で促進すること;
(d) 前記工程(c)のスラリーを、212°Fで少なくとも2cStの粘度を有する第一炭化水素油と混合し、混合物Xを形成すること;
(e) 前記混合物Xを、水素ガス及び第二炭化水素油と第二反応領域内で一緒にし、然も、前記第二炭化水素油は50°F〜300°Fの範囲の沸点及び前記第一炭化水素油より低い粘度を有し、それにより軽質炭化水素と混合された活性触媒組成物を形成すること;及び
(f) 前記活性触媒組成物を前記工程(e)の軽質炭化水素から分離することにより回収すること。 - 第一反応領域内の条件が、少なくとも約80°F〜約200°Fの範囲の温度及び少なくとも約100psig〜約3000psigの範囲の圧力を含む、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 炭化水素油の粘度が、212°Fで少なくとも約2cSt〜212°Fで約15cStの範囲にある、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 工程(c)の第VIII族金属化合物が、硫酸ニッケル及び硫酸コバルトからなる群から選択されており、工程(b)の第VI族金属がモリブデンである、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- ニッケル又はコバルトのモリブデンに対する重量比が1:100〜約1:2の範囲にある、請求項4に記載の製造方法。
- 第二炭化水素油が、少なくとも約50°F〜約300°Fの範囲で沸騰する、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 第一炭化水素油が真空ガスオイルである、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 第二炭化水素油が、212°Fで0.3cStより小さい動粘度を有する、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 第二反応領域の条件が、少なくとも約350°F〜約600°Fの範囲の温度、及び少なくとも約1000psig〜約3500psigの範囲の圧力を含む、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 第VIB族金属が、タングステン及びモリブデンからなる群から選択されている、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
