(4)成膜層熱処理工程:前記成膜層形成工程を経て前記基板に形成された前記成膜層を、熱処理することで、前記基板に前記誘電体層を形成する。この成膜層熱処理工程における熱処理温度は、前記混合物熱処理工程以下の温度(例えば前記混合物熱処理温度が700℃以上であれば700℃以下)であることが好適である。
図1は、本実施形態に係る誘電体デバイスが適用されたフィールドエミッションディスプレイ(FED)100の概略構成を示す断面図である。
電子放出源装置110は、薄い平板状に構成されている。この電子放出源装置110には、本実施形態の誘電体デバイスとしての電子放出素子120が、2次元的に多数形成されている。
図3は、図1に示されている電子放出素子120に印加される駆動電圧Vaの波形を示す図である。図4及び図5は、図1に示されている電子放出素子120に対して図3に示されている駆動電圧Vaが印加された場合の動作の様子を示す図である。以下、電子放出素子120の電子放出原理について、図3〜図5を用いて説明する。
次に、上述の構成を有する電子放出素子120の製造方法の一実施形態について、図6の工程フロー図を参照しつつ説明する。なお、以下の説明において、電子放出素子120の各部に言及する際には、適宜、図1及び図2の符号を参照する。
次に、上述のような製造方法の実施例について、比較例と対照しつつ説明する。
なお、上述の実施形態及び実施例は、出願人が取り敢えず本願の出願時点において最良であると考えた、本発明の代表的な実施形態及び実施例が単に例示的に記述されているものにすぎない。本発明はもとより、上述の実施形態等に何ら限定されるものではない。よって、上述の実施形態や実施例に対しては、本発明の本質的部分を変更しない範囲内において、種々の変形が施され得ることは当然である。

Claims (2)
- 誘電体デバイスの製造方法において、
母材の粉末と、当該母材の焼結のための添加剤の粉末と、を混合する、混合工程と、
前記混合工程を経た、前記母材と前記添加剤との混合物を、熱処理する、混合物熱処理工程と、
前記混合物熱処理工程を経て得られた原料粉末を、基板に向けて噴射することで、前記基板に成膜層を形成する、成膜層形成工程と、
前記成膜層形成工程を経て前記基板に形成された前記成膜層を、前記混合物熱処理工程以下の温度で熱処理することで、前記基板に誘電体層を形成する、成膜層熱処理工程と、
を有し、
前記成膜層形成工程は、
亜鉛酸ニオブ酸鉛とチタン酸ジルコン酸鉛との固溶体(PZN−PZT)を含有する誘電体と、
ZnO−Bi 2 O 3 を含有する焼結助剤と、
を含むものであって、
Cu−Kα線の照射によって得られる粉末X線回折線のスペクトルにおける、(101)面のピークの半値幅が、回折角度2θで0.3〜0.5°である、
前記原料粉末を用いる
ことを特徴とする、誘電体デバイスの製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の、誘電体デバイスの製造方法において、
前記混合物熱処理工程にて熱処理された後の被処理物を粉砕することで、前記原料粉末を得る、粉砕工程を、さらに有することを特徴とする、誘電体デバイスの製造方法。
