Description
本例は、図2に示す手順で光触媒溶液を調製し、ポリエステル製(色:アイボリ)の部材にスプレーコート法で塗布し、乾燥させてコーティングした試験例1である。その際、コーティング量が、0g/m2(ブランク)、3g/m2(比較例1)、5g/m2(実施例1)、10g/m2(実施例2)、20g/m2(実施例3)、30g/m2(実施例4)、40g/m2(実施例5)、45g/m2(比較例2)となるようにした。すなわち、微粒子濃度が1.0%の光触媒溶液なので、乾燥塗膜における過酸化チタン−シリカ微粒子の単位面積あたりの付着量は、0.03g/m 2 (比較例1)、0.05g/m 2 (実施例1)、0.1g/m 2 (実施例2)、0.2g/m 2 (実施例3)、0.3g/m 2 (実施例4)、0.4g/m 2 (実施例5)、0.45g/m 2 (比較例2)となる。コーティング後、紫外光を照射すると共に、表面の水接触角を測定した。その他の条件を以下に示す。
・過酸化チタン−シリカ微粒子濃度:1.0%
・基材の水接触角(コーティング前):91.3°
・スプレーノズル径:0.6mm
・吐出圧:0.4〜0.5MPa
・乾燥条件:常温24時間
・UV光源:1mW/cm2
本例は、前述した試験例1において色差(ΔE)を測定した試験例2である。その結果を図5に示す。
2 部材
Claims (5)
- 光触媒機能を備えた過酸化チタン−シリカ微粒子を含有するコーティング材によって、乾燥塗膜における過酸化チタン−シリカ微粒子の単位面積あたりの付着量が0.1g/m2〜0.4g/m2となるように表面がコーティングされたことにより、表面の水接触角が40°〜60°の准撥水性に制御されていることを特徴とする准撥水性の部材。
- 前記コーティング材はさらに光触媒機能を備えたアナタース型酸化チタン微粒子を含むが、前記アナタース型酸化チタン微粒子の含有量は、過酸化チタン−シリカ微粒子を基準にして過酸化チタン−シリカ微粒子:アナタース型酸化チタン微粒子=7:3(質量比)を超えないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の准撥水性の部材。
- 前記コーティング材がコーティングされる部材の下地面は、水接触角が80°〜95°の撥水性であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の准撥水性の部材。
- 前記准撥水性の部材は、サイディング基材であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の准撥水性の部材。
- 部材の表面特性を准撥水性に制御するコーティング方法であって、
光触媒機能を有する過酸化チタン−シリカ微粒子を含有する光触媒溶液を、
スプレーノズル径が0.3mm〜2.0mm,吐出圧が0.2MPa〜0.5MPaの塗布条件で前記部材の表面にスプレーコートし、乾燥塗膜における過酸化チタン−シリカ微粒子の単位面積あたりの付着量が0.1g/m2〜0.4g/m2となるようにコーティングすることによって、水接触角が40°〜60°の准撥水性にすることを特徴とするコーティング方法。
