Claims (9)
- キーパッド構体部と論理部とを備える移動通信装置であって、
前記キーパッド構体部は、
印刷された複数のキーを底面に備えるガラスカバーと、
前記ガラスカバーの下方への変位を検出するアクチュエータと、
前記ガラスカバーと前記アクチュエータとの間において、前記ガラスカバーに直接接触することなく近接して配されたシリコンマットと、を備え、
前記論理部は、
前記キーパッド構体部内において入力位置を感知し、且つ
前記シリコンマットに接触し該シリコンマットを変形させるまで、前記ガラスカバーが下方へ変位したことを、前記アクチュエータが検出した場合に、前記感知された入力位置に基づいて入力キーを判定するよう構成されていることを特徴とする移動通信装置。 - 前記シリコンマットは、前記ガラスカバーが押圧された場合に、前記アクチュエータに接触するよう構成された突起部を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動通信装置。
- ディスプレイを更に備え、前記論理部は、更に、前記判定されたキーと関連する情報を表示するために前記ディスプレイを制御するよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動通信装置。
- 前記論理部は、更に、前記ディスプレイを介してメニューが表示された場合、前記キーパッド構体部の複数の入力位置を感知することによりスクローリング入力を判定するよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の移動通信装置。
- 前記底面は、液晶表示装置(LCD)を有し、前記複数のキーは、該LCD上に表示されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動通信装置。
- ガラスカバー上に印刷された複数のキーに対する入力位置を感知する工程を有し、突起部を備えるシリコンマットが、該ガラスカバーの背面とアクチュエータとの間において、該ガラスカバーに直接接触することなく配置されており、
前記シリコンマットに接触し、該シリコンマットを変位させる程度に、前記ガラスカバーが変位したことを、前記突起部の前記アクチュエータへの接触により検出する工程と、
前記変位が検出された場合に、前記感知された入力位置に基づいて入力キーを判定する工程と、
前記変位が検出されなかった場合に、前記入力位置を感知することにより、スクローリング入力を判定する工程と
を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記複数のキーに対する入力位置を感知する工程では、前記ガラスカバーの面上の容量性膜により前記入力位置が感知されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記入力位置は、ユーザの指を検出することにより判定され、前記方法は、
前記ガラスカバーまたはプラスチックカバーが傾斜することにより前記ユーザに触覚フィードバックを提供する工程を更に有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。 - 前記変位を検出する工程は、前記アクチュエータが電気信号を出力した場合に、実行されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
