Description
The present invention includes a main body case that has a connecting portion connected to an engine and accommodates a rotating electrical machine, and an inverter case that is provided integrally with the main body case and accommodates an inverter that controls the rotating electrical machine. This invention relates to a hybrid drive device.
Recently, so-called hybrid vehicles equipped with an engine and a rotating electric machine as a drive source for vehicles have attracted attention in terms of fuel consumption, environmental protection, and the like. In such a hybrid vehicle, the rotating electrical machine acts as a motor that generates electric power from the battery and transmits the driving force to the traveling mechanism side to perform motor traveling, and obtains the driving power from the engine to generate the generator. In some cases, the battery can be used for charging. Further, during braking, a so-called regenerative operation is performed in which the inertial force that the car has is recovered as electric power. Furthermore, a rotating electrical machine may be used for starting an engine.
The operation of the rotating electrical machine is controlled by an inverter. For inverters for motors, the DC power supplied from the battery is converted to AC power by switching action (for three-phase, U phase, V phase, W phase) and supplied to each coil. . On the other hand, for the generator, the alternating current generated in each coil is converted into a direct current power source by a switching action or the like and supplied to the battery. At this time, in order to reduce the size of the hybrid drive device mounted on the vehicle as much as possible and to reduce the distance between the inverter and the rotating electrical machine to be controlled as much as possible to suppress the generation of electromagnetic noise, the rotating electrical machine is accommodated. Conventionally, a hybrid drive apparatus having a structure in which a main body case and an inverter case for accommodating an inverter are integrally provided has been proposed.
By the way, since an inverter is comprised by electronic components, such as a switching element, a diode, and a control circuit, when a water | moisture content mixes in an inverter case, an electric circuit may be damaged by a short circuit etc. In order to avoid this, the inverter case may have a liquid-tight structure. However, in this case, no matter how much liquid-tight structure, when the temperature in the inverter case rises due to the switching action of the inverter, the air in the case expands and leaks out of the case to some extent, and is cooled again. In this case, the air in the case contracts and the pressure decreases, so that moisture may enter the case through a minute gap in the inverter case.
In order to reduce the influence of air expansion and contraction, the inverter case is usually provided with a breather for reducing the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the case by communicating the inside and outside of the case. The breather is configured so that, as a rule, only gas can pass and solids or liquids cannot pass through, but still it is not always possible to completely prevent the mixing of moisture. Therefore, it is preferable to provide the breather itself at a position where the possibility of contact with moisture is as low as possible.
As an example in which the position of the breather in the inverter case is devised so that water does not easily enter the inverter case, for example, the following Patent Document 1 is cited. In the motor driving device described in Patent Document 1, the breather is formed on the bottom surface of the inverter case, and the opening to the outside of the case is formed on the boss portion formed concentrically with the motor shaft on the side surface of the main body case housing the motor. It arrange | positions so that it may oppose. The breather is formed by combining two vertical passages extending in the vertical direction with respect to the bottom surface of the inverter case and a horizontal passage extending in the horizontal direction. That is, the motor driving device described in Patent Document 1 is configured such that moisture cannot be mixed into the interior of the inverter case unless it passes through a complicated bent path that connects the inside and outside of the inverter case. In addition, regarding the ventilation on the main body case side, a slight gap is formed around the metal rod that penetrates the bottom surface of the inverter case and extends between the inverter case and the main body case, and the gap, the inverter case, and the breather are connected to each other. Thus, ventilation is possible between the inside of the main body case and the outside of the motor drive device.
When the breather is provided on the bottom surface of the inverter case and is opposed to the side surface of the main body case that accommodates the motor, the waterproof property is higher than the structure provided on the upper surface and the side surface. However, the bottom area of the inverter case is increased by an amount corresponding to the area occupied by the breather, and the drive device as a whole is also increased in size.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a hybrid drive device that can reduce the possibility of mixing of foreign substances such as moisture without increasing the size of the entire drive device. .
In order to achieve this object, the present invention has a connecting portion connected to the engine, and a main body case that houses the rotating electrical machine, and an inverter that is provided integrally with the main body case and controls the rotating electrical machine. characteristic feature of the hybrid drive system including an inverter case, the that has an inverter breather for communicating the inside and the outside of the front Symbol inverter case, the coupling portion in the axial direction of the output shaft of said engine, said Arranged between the engine and the inverter case, the inverter breather is provided on a side wall portion of the inverter case on the side of the connecting portion in the axial direction and overlaps with the upper portion of the connecting portion. There is in point.
In the present application, the “rotary electric machine” is used as a concept including any of a motor (electric motor), a generator (generator), and a motor / generator functioning as both a motor and a generator as necessary.
According to the above characteristic configuration, since the inverter breather is provided on the side wall portion of the inverter case on the connecting portion side, which is a portion where the engine is connected to the main body case, the inverter breather is provided on the side wall portion of the inverter case. Will be opposite. Therefore, the engine functions as a kind of protective wall, and water or the like can be suppressed from being directly applied to the inverter breather from the engine side. At this time, since the inverter breather is provided not on the bottom of the inverter case but on the side wall, it is not necessary to increase the bottom area of the inverter case. Therefore, it is possible to provide a hybrid drive device that can reduce the possibility of contamination by foreign substances such as moisture without increasing the size of the entire drive device.
Further, according to the above characteristic configuration, the main body case and the engine are connected to each other at the connecting portion, and the inverter breather is disposed above the main body case and the engine, so that the main body case and the engine are integrated to form a kind of protective wall. It is possible to suppress the water from being applied to the inverter breather from below the drive device. Therefore, it is possible to suppress splashes or the like splashed during traveling of the vehicle from being applied to the inverter breather from below.
Here, the inverter breather is preferably arranged at a position lower than the engine and overlapping the engine in the front-rear direction.
According to this configuration, since the inverter breather is provided at a position lower than the engine and overlapped with the engine in the front-rear direction, the inverter breather reliably faces the engine at the side wall portion of the inverter case. Therefore, the engine functions as a kind of protective wall, and water or the like can be suppressed from being directly applied to the inverter breather from the engine side.
Here, a partition that separates the space in the inverter case and the space in the main body case, a connection body that penetrates the partition in a liquid-tight state, and electrically connects the inverter and the rotating electrical machine, It is preferable that the main body case includes a main body breather provided at the uppermost part of the space in the case.
According to this configuration, since the connecting body penetrates the partition wall in a liquid-tight state, the space in the inverter case and the space in the main body case are separated and formed without communication. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the oil circulating in the main body case from being mixed into the inverter case for the purpose of cooling the heating element and lubricating the rotating member. At this time, since the connecting body penetrates the partition wall to electrically connect the inverter and the rotating electrical machine, the path length for the electrical connection can be shortened as much as possible, and the entire driving device is reduced in size. In addition, the generation of electromagnetic noise can be suppressed.
Since the main body case is provided with the main body case breather in addition to the inverter breather, the influence of the expansion and contraction of the air in the main body case can be reduced. The breather for the main body case is provided at the uppermost part of the space inside the case of the main body case, so that the possibility of foreign matter such as moisture entering the main body case is reduced and the oil scattered in the main body case is It can suppress applying to the breather for cases.
Here, further comprising a current sensor for detecting the magnitude of the current flowing through the connection body, the current sensor is disposed adjacent to the side wall portion on the connecting portion side of the inverter case, the inverter breather, In the height direction in the inverter case, it is preferable that the inverter is provided at a position that does not overlap the current sensor.
A certain amount of ventilation space is required around the opening inside the case of the inverter breather. According to this configuration, since the inverter breather and the current sensor do not overlap in the height direction in the inverter case, it is not necessary to provide a special space between the opening of the breather and the side surface of the current sensor. Therefore, the inverter breather can be provided without increasing the size of the inverter case.
Further, the inverter case is provided with a connector for connecting the power source and the inverter to a convex portion formed by protruding the side wall portion on the connecting portion side outward, and the inverter breather is provided with: It is preferable to be disposed adjacent to the convex portion.
According to this configuration, the connector necessary for connecting the inverter and the power source that supplies power to the inverter is housed in the convex portion, and the convex portion is adjacent to the inverter breather and partially connected thereto. By covering, it is possible to further prevent the inverter breather from being splashed with water or the like.
Further, the inverter breather includes an outer opening that opens in a direction substantially parallel to the side wall portion on the connecting portion side, and around the inverter breather in the inverter case to a position higher than the outer opening. It is preferred if an extending cylindrical wall is provided.
According to this configuration, since the outer opening is opened in a direction substantially parallel to the side wall portion on the coupling portion side, it is assumed that water or the like is applied from a direction substantially perpendicular to the wall surface of the side wall portion of the inverter case. The water or the like can be prevented from reaching the outer opening directly. Further, even if water or the like is splashed around the inverter breather, the cylindrical wall can prevent the water or the like from reaching the inverter breather through the wall surface of the inverter case. Therefore, even in such a case, it is possible to prevent water and the like from being immediately mixed into the inverter case.
Here, it is preferable that the cylindrical wall has a notch in a vertically downward direction.
According to this configuration, even if water or the like reaches the space formed by the wall surface of the side wall portion of the inverter case and the inside of the cylindrical wall provided there, the water or the like is vertically downward from the notch portion. Can be discharged efficiently. Therefore, possibility that water etc. will mix in an inverter case can further be reduced.
In the hybrid drive apparatus described so far, the inverter breather includes a through hole provided in the side wall portion of the inverter case and communicating between the inside and the outside of the inverter case, and the breather inserted into the through hole. It is preferable to have a cap.
According to this configuration, the inverter case is provided with only a through hole and a breather cap having a desired shape is formed as a separate body, and the breather cap for the inverter can be formed by inserting the breather cap into the through hole. Thus, it is possible to easily form an inverter breather having a desired shape.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of a hybrid drive device according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a side view of a hybrid drive device 2 (hereinafter simply referred to as drive device 2) to which a
1. Configuration of Drive Device First, the configuration of the
In the present embodiment, the driving
As shown in FIG. 3, the
A
Further, as shown in FIG. 3, an
The cooling structure has a hydraulic oil flow path Ro through which hydraulic oil circulating inside the
The hydraulic oil that has reached a high temperature by circulating inside the
The
The

The
Here, the

The boosting
The step-up
The smoothing
The

4). Arrangement of Inverter Breather An
In the present embodiment, the lateral direction of the vehicle means the axial direction of the first axis A1 (see FIG. 3) of the
Therefore, in the case of the FF layout in which the
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 6, the
As for the arrangement of the
Further, in the present embodiment, the
The first
A space for ventilation is required to some extent around the opening of the
5. The structure of the inverter breather As shown in FIG. 8, the

The
A
As shown in FIG. 9, a

(4) In the above embodiment, the
(5) In the above embodiment, the example in which the
