Claims (20)
- 複数の視聴者を楽しませるための複数の画像ストリームを表示する方法であって、
複数の画像源から、複数のサイクルを含むインターリーブ型画像ストリームを生成する段階を備え、前記複数のサイクルの各サイクルは複数の画像フレームを有し、
前記インターリーブ型画像ストリームの複数のサイクルの各々に対応する共通の画像フレームを生成する段階を備え、各共通の画像フレームは、前記対応するサイクルの複数の画像フレームを組み合わせた後、共通でない特定のサイクルの複数の画像フレームに対する部分を削除して、1つ若しくは複数の空白部を形成することによって生成され、
第1の投映器を使用して表示装置上に各対応する共通の画像フレームを投映しながら、第2の投映器を使用して各投映された共通の画像の1つ若しくは複数の空白部内に前記インターリーブ型画像ストリームの対応するサイクルを投映する段階と、
を備える方法。 - 前記インターリーブ型画像ストリームの各サイクルは、前記複数の画像源の各画像源からの1つの画像フレームを含む請求項1記載の方法。
- 更に、前記投映されたインターリーブ型画像ストリームの各サイクルの複数の画像の1つ若しくは複数の画像が、前記複数の視聴者の少なくとも1人によってしか見えないように、前記投映されたインターリーブ型画像ストリームの各サイクルの部分をフィルタリングする段階を備える請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記フィルタリングする段階は、1つ若しくは複数の偏光レンズを使用して前記投映されたインターリーブ型画像ストリームをフィルタリングする段階を含む請求項3記載の方法。
- 前記フィルタリングする段階は、前記インターリーブ型画像ストリームのフレーム速度と同期して所定の期間にわたって開閉するように構成された複数のシャッタを使用する段階を含む請求項3記載の方法。
- 前記複数のシャッタの各々は約1/180秒にわたって開き、また前記フレーム速度は約30フレーム/秒である請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記インターリーブ型画像ストリームは、二次元画像を表示するように構成されているインターリーブ型画像ストリームである請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記インターリーブ型画像ストリームは、三次元画像を表示するように構成されているインターリーブ型画像ストリームである請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記複数の画像源は、前記複数の視聴者の少なくとも1人から入力を受け取るように構成されている請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記複数の画像源の1つ若しくは複数の画像源は、前記複数の視聴者の少なくとも1人から受け取った入力に基づいて前記インターリーブ型画像ストリームのストーリーの筋を変化させるように構成されている請求項9記載の方法。
- 複数の視聴者を楽しませるための複数の画像ストリームを表示するシステムであって、
少なくとも3つの画像ストリームをインターリーブして複数のサイクルを含むインターリーブ型画像ストリームを生成する画像マルチプレクサを備え、前記複数のサイクルの各サイクルは複数の画像フレームを有し、
前記インターリーブ型画像ストリームの複数のサイクルの各サイクルに対応する背景画像フレームを生成するように構成された画像源を備え、各背景画像フレームは、前記対応するサイクルの複数の画像フレームの共通部分を含むと共に、前記対応するサイクルの複数の画像フレームの共通でない部分について複数の空白部を含み、
表示装置上に各背景画像フレームを投映するように構成された第1の投映器を備え、
前記表示装置上に投映された各背景画像フレームの複数の空白部内に前記インターリーブ型画像ストリームの各対応するサイクルを投映するように構成された第2の投映器を備えるシステム。 - 前記インターリーブ型画像ストリームの各サイクルは、少なくとも3つの画像ストリームの各画像ストリームの中の1つの画像フレームを含む請求項11記載のシステム。
- 前記複数の視聴者によってそれぞれ使用される複数のフィルタリング機構を備え、前記フィルタリング機構は、前記複数の視聴者の各々が前記インターリーブ型画像ストリームの各サイクルの一部分しか見えないように構成されている請求項12記載のシステム。
- 前記フィルタリング機構は、偏光レンズと、前記インターリーブ型画像ストリームのフレーム速度と同期するそれぞれの所定の期間にわたって開閉する複数のシャッタとを含む請求項13記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のシャッタの各シャッタは、約1/180秒にわたって開く請求項14記載のシステム。
- 前記インターリーブ型画像ストリームのフレーム速度は約30フレーム/秒である請求項14記載のシステム。
- 前記インターリーブ型画像ストリームは、三次元画像を表示するように構成されているインターリーブ型画像ストリームである請求項11記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも3つの画像ストリームを生成するように構成された少なくとも3つの画像源を備え、前記少なくとも3つの画像源の各画像源は、前記複数の視聴者の少なくとも1人から入力を受け取るように構成されている請求項11記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも3つの画像源は、前記複数の視聴者の少なくとも1人から受け取った入力に基づいて各画像ストリームのストーリーの筋を変化させるように構成されている請求項18記載のシステム。
- 前記複数の視聴者にそれぞれ付属する複数のユーザ入力装置を備え、前記複数のユーザ入力装置の各々は、前記複数の視聴者の少なくとも1人から前記少なくとも3つの画像源の1つ若しくは複数の画像源へ入力を供給するように構成されている請求項18記載のシステム。
