【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、いわゆるプリントクラブなどの画像生成装置を利用した通信遊技システムに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、いわゆるプリントクラブなどの画像生成装置を、ＩＳＤＮなどの通信回線を介してサーバに接続し、画像生成装置によって生成された画像を含むホームページを作成できるように構成された遊技装置が提案されている（たとえば特開平１０−２７４８０５号公報参照）。

また、上記のような遊技装置を各所に設置して、ユーザが遊技装置によって自己の上半身などを撮影し、さらに遊技装置にホームページの登録操作を施すことによって、撮影画像と背景画像との合成画像を含むホームページが作成されるように構築されたシステムが既に存在する。このシステムにおいては、第三者が端末装置からインターネットを介してホームページを閲覧し、そのホームページ宛に電子メールを送信できる。また、遊技装置によってホームページを作成したユーザは、端末装置からインターネットを介してホームページを閲覧し、電子メールが着信している場合、自己のホームページ宛に返信の電子メールを送信できる。この返信の電子メールは、ホームページを管理しているサーバから、最初に電子メールを送信した上記第三者のメールアドレス宛にインターネットを介して送信される。

しかし、上記従来のシステムでは、ホームページを作成したいユーザが、上記遊技装置の操作部に所定の情報を入力して、ホームページの登録操作を施す必要があり、この登録操作のために遊技装置を使用している時間が長くなり、遊技装置の利用効率が低下するという課題があった。

また、遊技装置によって自己のホームページを作成したユーザは、その後、端末装置からインターネットによって自己のホームページを閲覧できるものの、インターネットを介して端末装置から自己のホームページを自在に編集することができないので、興味が持続しにくいという課題があった。

【発明の開示】
本発明は、上記した事情のもとで考え出されたものであって、画像生成装置によって生成された画像を含むウエブファイルを、インターネットを介して任意の端末装置から指示することにより自動的に作成でき、かつ、作成された自己のウエブファイルをインターネットを介して任意の端末装置から自在に編集できる画像生成装置を利用した通信遊技システムを提供することを、その課題とする。

上記の課題を解決するため、本発明では、次の技術的手段を講じている。

本発明の第１の側面によれば、インターネットを含む通信網に接続可能な端末装置と、被写体を撮影することにより得られた撮影画像、あるいはその撮影画像と予め記憶手段に格納されている背景画像とを合成した合成画像と、その撮影画像あるいは合成画像を特定するための識別情報とを生成し、それら画像と識別情報とを前記通信網に出力する画像生成装置と、前記通信網に接続されて、前記画像生成装置から前記通信網を介して受信した前記画像を、前記識別情報とを対応付けて蓄積するサーバとを備え、前記サーバは、前記通信網を介して前記端末装置から前記識別情報を指定してウェブファイルを作成すべき旨の要求があったときに、指定された識別情報に対応する前記画像を表示画像の一部として含みかつ前記端末装置により前記通信網を介して閲覧可能なウエブファイルを作成して蓄積し、さらに前記サーバは、前記通信網を介して前記ウエブファイルにアクセスしている前記端末装置から供給される書き込み文書を含む編集情報に応じて、前記ウエブファイルの内容を編集し、前記ウエブファイルに書き込まれた文書を分析することにより、前記ウエブファイルにアクセスし前記編集情報を供給する前記端末装置のユーザ毎に、前記ユーザ個人の要求、旅行の嗜好、生活スタイル、友人との付き合い頻度、プレイスポット、性格、思考、趣味嗜好、金銭感覚に関する情報を蓄積したデータベースを構築するとともに、種々の業種の企業のニーズに応じて、商品開発、市場開発、マーケティング、広告、コンサルティングなどのための前記データベースの分析を行う構成としたことを特徴とする、画像生成装置を利用した通信遊技システムが提供される。

好ましい実施の形態によれば、ウエブファイルは、画像生成装置によって生成された画像であってユーザによって指定された画像の集合であるマイアルバムのページを含む。

好ましい他の実施の形態によれば、ウエブファイルは、ユーザによって書き込まれた文書の集合である日記のページを含み、この日記のページには、画像生成装置によって生成された画像であってユーザによって指定された画像を挿入可能である。

本発明によれば、サーバが、通信網を介して端末装置から識別情報を指定してウエブファイルを作成すべき旨の要求があったときに、指定された識別情報に対応する画像を表示画像の一部として含みかつ端末装置により通信網を介して閲覧可能なウエブファイルを作成して蓄積する構成としたので、画像生成装置によって生成された画像を含むウエブファイルを、インターネットを介して任意の端末装置から指示することにより自動的に作成できる。

また、サーバが、通信網を介してウエブファイルにアクセスしている端末装置から供給される編集情報に応じて、ウエブファイルの内容を編集する構成としたので、作成された自己のウエブファイルをインターネットを介して任意の端末装置から自在に編集できる。さらに、サーバが、ウエブファイルにアクセスし編集情報を供給する端末装置のユーザ毎に各種の情報を蓄積したデータベースを構築し、かくして得られた各ウエブファイルに対応するユーザ毎に作成された各種のデータベースを、あらゆる業種のあらゆる企業のニーズに応じて、商品開発、市場開発、マーケティング、広告、コンサルティングなどのために分析するため、各ユーザの本音を正確に反映した貴重なデータを得ることができ、業種を問わずあらゆる企業活動に有効に利用できる。ここで、サーバが構築するデータベースとして、各ウエブファイルに対応するユーザ毎に、各個人の要求に関するデータベース、旅行の嗜好に関するデータベース、生活スタイルに関するデータベース、友人との付き合い頻度に関するデータベース、プレイスポットに関するデータベース、性格、思考、趣味嗜好に関するデータベース、および金銭感覚に関するデータベースなどの各種データベースを例示できる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の好ましい実施の形態を、図面を参照して具体的に説明する。

図１は、本発明に係る画像生成装置を利用した通信遊技システムの概略全体構成図であって、インターネットを含む通信網１には、サーバ２、画像生成装置３、および端末装置４が接続されている。サーバ２には、記憶装置５が接続されている。

通信網１は、有線、無線、アナログ回線、ディジタル回線、公衆回線、専用回線などの種別を問わず、インターネットを含む全ての通信網である。

サーバ２は、通信遊技システムの中核をなすものであって、画像生成装置３からの撮影画像や合成画像を蓄積する。またサーバ２は、端末装置４からの指示に応じて、撮影画像あるいは合成画像を用いたウエブファイルを生成し、蓄積し、編集する。さらにサーバ２は、蓄積したウエブファイルの内容を分析し、各種のデータベースを生成する。

画像生成装置３は、いわゆるプリクラと呼称されている写真シール払出装置に通信機能を付加したものであって、全国各地に設置されている。これら画像生成装置３の通信機能は、具体的にはＰＨＳ(personal handypone system) によって実現されており、インターネットを介さずにサーバ２と接続される。

端末装置４は、全国各地のユーザが使用するものであって、インターネットに接続可能な装置であれば、その種類は問わない。たとえば、パーソナルコンピュータや携帯型電話装置はもちろんのこと、インターネットに接続可能なゲーム装置や家庭用電気機器などを含む。これら端末装置４は、インターネットを介してサーバ２に接続される。

記憶装置５は、たとえば複数のハードディスクを有機的に管理するハードディスク装置からなり、画像生成装置３からサーバ２に送信された撮影画像あるいは合成画像、サーバ２によって生成されたウエブファイル、サーバ２によって生成された各種のデータベースなどが格納される。

図２は、画像生成装置３の概略回路ブロック図であって、画像生成装置３は、ＣＰＵ１１、ＲＯＭ１２、ＲＡＭ１３、インターフェイス回路１４、撮影部１５、印刷部１６、表示部１７、操作部１８、コイン検出部１９、通信部２０、記憶部２１、および音声発生部２２を備えている。ＣＰＵ１１、ＲＯＭ１２、ＲＡＭ１３、およびインターフェイス回路１４は、相互にバス接続されている。

次に動作を説明する。ユーザが画像生成装置３のコイン投入口に所定のコインを投入し、撮影部１５に自己の上半身などを撮影させ、所望の背景画像を選択すると、ＣＰＵ１１により撮影部１５による撮影画像と背景画像との合成画像が生成され、表示部１７に表示される。ユーザが背景画像を所望しない旨を選択した場合は、撮影画像が表示部１７に表示される。ユーザが操作部１８に対して確定操作を施すと、撮影画像あるいは合成画像が印刷部１６によって印刷され、画像生成装置３の払出口から印刷された写真シールが払い出される。以上の動作は、いわゆるプリクラと呼称されている一般的な写真シール払出装置と同様である。

ユーザが操作部１８に対して撮影画像あるいは合成画像の登録操作を施した後に、確定操作を施すと、ＣＰＵ１１が、画像を特定するための識別情報を生成する。そしてＣＰＵ１１が、印刷部１６を制御して、識別情報を写真シールの一部に印刷させる。さらにＣＰＵ１１が、通信部２０を制御して、画像と識別情報とをサーバ２に送信させる。

画像生成装置３から画像と識別情報とを受信したサーバ２は、受信した画像を識別情報と対応付けて記憶装置５に格納する。

一方、端末装置４からインターネットを介して本システムの管理者が開設している所定のホームページにアクセスすると、「利用ガイド」「新規登録」「直接指定」「サーチ」のいずれかを選択する選択画面が端末装置４の表示画面に表示される。以下、表示画面が移り変わる様子を図３ないし図５の流れ図を参照して説明する。

「利用ガイド」を選択すると、特に図示しないが、本システムを利用するためのガイダンスが表示される。

「新規登録」を選択すると、図３のＳ２に示すように、ユーザが画像生成装置３によって得た写真シールに印刷されている識別情報を入力する画面が表示される。この識別情報は、具体的には複数桁の数字であって、全国各地の画像生成装置３によって生成された各画像毎に、それぞれ異なる番号が割り当てられている。

ユーザが識別情報を入力すると、端末装置４は、その識別情報をサーバ２に送信する。サーバ２は、受信した識別情報に対応する画像を記憶装置５から読み出し、端末装置４に送信する。端末装置４は、図３のＳ３に示すように、受信した画像を表示する。この表示画面の一部には、「ＯＫ」「ＮＧ」「マイページに追加」のいずれかを選択するためのボックスが表示されている。

識別情報に対応する画像が記憶装置５に格納されていない場合、図３のＳ６に示すように、画像が存在しない旨の表示画面が表示される。この表示画面の一部には、「戻る」を選択するためのボックスが表示されており、ユーザが「戻る」を選択すると、図３のＳ２に示す識別情報の入力画面に戻る。

画像の表示画面において、ユーザが「ＮＧ」を選択すると、図３のＳ２に示す識別情報の入力画面に戻る。

画像の表示画面において、ユーザが「ＯＫ」を選択すると、図３のＳ４に示すように、ホームページを作成するための情報入力画面が表示される。この情報入力画面には、氏名、住所、年齢、性別、および自己紹介を書き込むためのボックスと、作成したホームページを一般に公開するかあるいは本システムで作成したホームページが現に存在している登録会員のみに公開するかを選択するためのボックスと、「ＯＫ」「ＮＧ」を選択するためのボックスとが表示される。

情報入力画面において、ユーザが「ＮＧ」を選択すると、図３のＳ３に示す画像の表示画面に戻る。

情報入力画面において、ユーザが所定の書き込みおよび選択を行い、「ＯＫ」を選択すると、それらの情報が端末装置４からサーバ２に送信される。サーバ２は、受信した情報に基づいてウエブファイルを作成し、それを記憶装置５に格納する。このウエブファイルには、ユーザによって入力された識別情報に対応する画像が一部に含まれている。さらにサーバ２は、このウエブファイルを閲覧したときに先頭ページとして表示されるホームページにアクセスするためのパスワードを発行し、端末装置４に送信する。端末装置４は、図３のＳ５に示すように、受信したパスワードを表示する。この表示画面の一部には、「ＯＫ」を選択するためのボックスが表示される。ユーザが「ＯＫ」を選択すると、本システムのホームページすなわち先頭ページに戻る。

以上の動作により、画像生成装置３のユーザは、端末装置４を操作して、自己のウエブファイルを自動的に作成できる。このウエブファイルの詳細については、さらに後述する。

システムのホームページで「直接指定」を選択すると、図３のＳ９に示すように、端末装置４の表示画面にパスワードの入力画面が表示される。この表示画面の一部には、「ＯＫ」「ＮＧ」を選択するためのボックスが表示される。

ユーザが「ＮＧ」を選択すると、システムのホームページに戻る。

ユーザが自己のパスワードを入力し、「ＯＫ」を選択すると、パスワードが端末装置４からサーバ２に送信される。サーバ２は、受信したパスワードに対応するウエブファイルの先頭ページを記憶装置５から読み出し、端末装置４に送信する。端末装置４は、受信したウエブファイルの先頭ページすなわちホームページを表示画面に表示する。もちろん、ユーザが予め教えられている友人のパスワードを入力した場合、その友人のホームページが表示され、ウエブファイルを閲覧できる。このようなパスワードの入力によるウエブファイルの閲覧は、そのウエブファイルの作成時に「非公開」が選択されている場合でも可能である。

図３のＳ１０に示すように、本システムのホームページで「サーチ」を選択すると、端末装置４の表示画面には、図３のＳ１１に示すように、サーバ２の記憶装置５に蓄積されているウエブファイルの一覧が表示される。ただし、作成時に「非公開」が選択されているウエブファイルは一覧表示されず、作成時に「公開」が選択されているウエブファイルのみが一覧表示される。ユーザが一覧から所望のウエブファイルを選択すると、そのウエブファイルを閲覧できる。したがって、ウエブファイルの作成時に「非公開」を選択しておけば、本システムの登録会員以外の者、すなわち記憶装置５に自己のウエブファイルが現に存在しているユーザ以外の者にウエブファイルを閲覧されることがない。

次にウエブファイルの詳細について説明する。以下の動作は、ユーザが端末装置４の表示画面を見ながら端末装置４の操作部を操作して行うので、その旨の記載を省略する。ウエブファイルを閲覧したときの先頭ぺージ、すなわちホームページには、「プロフィール」「マイアルバム」「ダイアリ」「掲示板」「メイルボックス」「メイル」「仮想空間」のいずれかを選択するためのボックスが画面の一部に表示される。

ホームページの表示画面でユーザが「プロフィール」を選択すると、図４のＳ２２に示すように、パスワードの入力画面が表示される。この表示画面の一部には、「ＯＫ」「ＮＧ」のいずれかを選択するためのボックスが表示される。

ユーザが「ＮＧ」を選択すると、図４のＳ２１に示すユーザのホームページに戻る。

ユーザが自己のパスワードを入力して「ＯＫ」を選択すると、図４のＳ２３に示すように、プロフィールの更新画面が表示される。このプロフィールの更新画面には、氏名、住所、年齢、性別、および自己紹介を書き込むためのボックスと、自己のホームページを一般に公開するかあるいは本システムの登録会員のみに公開するかを選択するためのボックスと、「ＯＫ」「ＮＧ」を選択するためのボックスとが表示される。すなわち、このプロフィールの更新画面は、ウエブファイルの作成時における情報入力画面と同一であり、このプロフィールの更新画面を呼び出して書き込みを行うことによって、自己のプロフィールや「公開」「非公開」の区別を何度でも変更できる。

ユーザが「ＮＧ」を選択すると、ユーザのホームページに戻る。

ユーザが所定の書き込みを行い、「ＯＫ」を選択すると、書き込まれた情報が端末装置４からサーバ２に送信される。サーバ２は、受信した情報に応じて、記憶装置５に格納されているウエブファイル中のプロフィールのページを更新する。表示画面はユーザのホームページに戻る。

ホームページの表示画面でユーザが「マイアルバム」を選択すると、図４のＳ２４に示すように、パスワードの入力画面が表示される。この表示画面の一部には、「ＯＫ」「ＮＧ」のいずれかを選択するためのボックスが表示される。

ユーザが「ＮＧ」を選択すると、図４のＳ２１に示すユーザのホームページに戻る。

ユーザが自己のパスワードを入力して「ＯＫ」を選択すると、図４のＳ２５に示すように、ウエブファイル中のマイアルバムのページが表示される。このマイアルバムのぺージは、ユーザが指定した任意数の画像をアルバムのような形式で表示するぺージである。このマイアルバムのページの一部には、特に図示しないが「追加」を選択するためのボックスが表示される。

ユーザが「追加」を選択すると、図４のＳ２６に示すように、マイアルバムのページに画像を追加するための情報を入力する画面が表示される。ユーザが画像生成装置３を使用することにより得られた写真シールに印刷されている識別情報、あるいはユーザの氏名を書き込むと、その識別情報あるいはユーザの氏名が端末装置４からサーバ２に送信される。サーバ２は、受信した識別情報あるいはユーザの氏名に基づいて記憶装置５を検索し、対応する画像を読み出し、端末装置４に送信する。端末装置４は、図４のＳ２７に示すように、受信した画像を表示画面に表示する。この表示画面の一部には、「ＯＫ」「ＮＧ」のいずれかを選択するためのボックスが表示される。

ユーザが「ＮＧ」を選択すると、図４のＳ２６に示すマイアルバムのページに画像を追加するための情報入力画面に戻る。

ユーザが「ＯＫ」を選択すると、端末装置４からサーバ２にその旨の情報が送信される。サーバ２は、読み出した画像をマイアルバムのページに追加し、端末装置４に送信する。端末装置４は、図４のＳ２５に示す受信したマイアルバムのページを表示する。

ホームページの表示画面でユーザが「日記」を選択すると、図４のＳ２８に示すように、パスワードの入力画面が表示される。この表示画面の一部には、「ＯＫ」「ＮＧ」のいずれかを選択するためのボックスが表示される。

ユーザが「ＮＧ」を選択すると、図４のＳ２１に示すユーザのホームページに戻る。

ユーザが「日記をつける」を選択すると、図４のＳ３０に示すように、文書を入力するための画面が表示される。この表示画面の一部には、「写真をつける」を選択するためのボックスと、「ＯＫ」「ＮＧ」のいずれかを選択するためのボックスとが表示される。

ユーザが「ＮＧ」を選択すると、図４のＳ２９に示す日記のぺージに戻る。

ユーザが所望の文書を書き込み、「ＯＫ」を選択すると、ユーザによって書き込まれた文書が端末装置４からサーバ２に送信される。サーバ２は、受信した文書をウェブファイルの日記のページに追加し、端末装置４に送信する。端末装置４は、図４のＳ２９に示す受信した日記のページを表示する。

ユーザが「写真をつける」を選択すると、図４のＳ３１に示すように、日記のページに画像を追加するための情報を入力する画面が表示される。ユーザが画像生成装置３を使用することにより得られた写真シールに印刷されている識別情報、あるいはユーザの氏名を書き込むと、その識別情報あるいはユーザの氏名が端末装置４からサーバ２に送信される。サーバ２は、受信した識別情報あるいはユーザの氏名に基づいて記憶装置５を検索し、対応する画像を読み出し、端末装置４に送信する。端末装置４は、図４のＳ３２に示すように、受信した画像を表示画面に表示する。この表示画面の一部には、「ＯＫ」「ＮＧ」のいずれかを選択するためのボックスが表示される。

このように、本システムでは、画像生成装置３によって生成された画像を含むウエブファイルを、インターネットを介して任意の端末装置４から指示することにより自動的に作成できる。したがって、ユーザが画像生成装置３に対してホームページの登録操作を行うシステムと比較して、ユーザはいつでも好きなときに所望の場所で自己の端末装置４に対してホームページの登録操作を行うことができるので、たいへん便利である。このことは、画像生成装置３の稼働時間のうちホームページの登録操作のための時間が無くなるということなので、画像生成装置３の稼働効率が向上し、画像生成装置３の設置者にとっても好都合である。

図９に示すように、Ｓ３３００の「プロフィール」からは、Ｓ３３１０の「ハウスメンテナンス」に進み、さらにＳ３２２５の「マイアルバム（選択用）」を呼び出してプロフィールに用いるプリクラ画像を更新することができる。また、Ｓ３３００の「プロフィール」からは、Ｓ３３２０の「ハウスキャラプロフィール表示」やＳ３３３０の「ハウスメンバーの表示」に進むことができる。このＳ３３２０の「ハウスキャラプロフィール表示」では、すでに登録した自己のハンドル名やプロフィールを確認することができ、Ｓ３３３０の「ハウスメンバーの表示」では、自分を含め同じハウスに属するメンバーの顔アイコンやハンドル名などを確認することができる。Ｓ３３３０の「ハウスメンバーの表示」からは、所定のリンク部分をクリックしてＳ３３４０の「プロフィール」、Ｓ３３５０の「個人プロフィールを変更」、Ｓ３３７０の「メンバーを増やす／減らす」に進むことができる。

Ｓ３３４０の「プロフィール」では、所望とするハウスメンバーのプロフィールや顔アイコンを確認することができる。Ｓ３３５０の「個人プロフィールを変更」では、生年月日や性別、さらにはお気に入りのジャンルなどの自己プロフィールのほか、ハンドル名、ログインパスワード、顔アイコン、メールアドレスなどを登録したり変更したりすることができる。なお、顔アイコンについては、Ｓ３２２６の「Photo Box （選択用）」を呼び出してすでに登録済みの顔アイコンの中から所望とするものを指定することができる。Ｓ３３７０の「メンバーを増やす／減らす」からＳ３３７１の「ハウスメンバー追加」に進んだ場合、Ｓ３３７２の「ハウスメンバー追加完了」を経てＳ３３３０の「ハウスメンバーの表示」に戻る。その一方、Ｓ３３７０の「メンバーを増やす／減らす」においてメンバーを削除する所要の操作を行えば、Ｓ３３７３の「本当に消してもいい？」といったダイアログ形式の警告画面が表示され、それに応じて「ＯＫ」をクリックすると、Ｓ３３７４の「削除完了」を経てＳ３３７０の「メンバーを増やす／減らす」に戻る。
