(8)前記複数の弾性部材が互いに編み込まれるように重ね合わされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のトロカール。
(9)前記複数の弾性部材が、互いに組み付けられる前に非平面形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のトロカール。
(10)前記複数の重ね合わされた弾性部材が半円状であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のトロカール。
(12)前記シール組立体が、第1の硬質リング及び第2の硬質リングを含み、前記重ね合わされた弾性部材がこれらの硬質リング間に当接して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のトロカール。
(13)前記シール組立体が、フロート手段に取り付けられた外周部を有することを特徴とする実施態様(12)に記載のトロカール。
(14)前記重ね合わされた弾性部材が、実質的に前記シール組立体の中心に開口が形成されるように配置されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のトロカール。
(15)前記複数の弾性部材が互いに編み込まれるように重ね合わされていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のトロカール。
(17)前記複数の重ね合わされた弾性部材が半円状であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のトロカール。
(18)前記重ね合わされた弾性部材が約180度〜270度の円周を有することを特徴とする実施態様(17)に記載のトロカール。
(19)前記シール組立体が、第1の硬質リング及び第2の硬質リングを含み、前記重ね合わされた弾性部材がこれらの硬質リング間に当接して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のトロカール。
(20)前記複数の弾性部材が互いに編み込まれるように重ね合わされていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のトロカール。

Claims (10)
- 患者に処置を施すためのトロカールにおいて、
(a)先端部、および基端部を有する中空カニューレと、
(b)前記カニューレの前記基端部に取り付けられた先端部、および、貫通孔を有する壁部が取り付けられた基端部を有するハウジングと、
(c)前記ハウジング内に配置されるシール組立体であって、第1の実質的に硬質のリング、第2の実質的に硬質のリング、および該リング間で圧迫される分離した半円状の複数のシールセグメントを備え、各前記シールセグメントが180度〜270度の外周部を有する、シール組立体と、
を備え、
前記複数のシールセグメントが、外科器具が挿通された場合に、前記シール組立体のほぼ中心に開口が形成されるようにそれぞれ重ね合わされて配置され、
前記複数のシールセグメントが、互いに組み付けられる前に非平面形状を有するように成形されている、
トロカール。 - 請求項1に記載のトロカールにおいて、
前記複数のシールセグメントが、円錐形を形成する、トロカール。 - 請求項1または2に記載のトロカールにおいて、
前記複数のシールセグメントが、基端側フランジ部分、および前記フランジ部分から先端側に延びている、内側に延びる部分を備え、
前記基端側フランジ部分が、前記リング間に配置され、かつ前記リングに当接する、トロカール。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載のトロカールにおいて、
前記シール組立体が、フロート手段に取り付けられた外周部を有する、トロカール。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1つに記載のトロカールにおいて、
前記シール組立体が、前記シールセグメントの基端側に配置された複数のプロテクターを含む、トロカール。 - 患者に処置を施すためのトロカールにおいて、
(a)先端部、および基端部を有する中空カニューレと、
(b)前記カニューレの前記基端部に取り付けられた先端部、および、貫通孔を有する壁部が取り付けられた基端部を有するハウジングと、
(c)前記ハウジング内に配置されたシール組立体であって、第1の実質的に硬質のリング、第2の実質的に硬質のリング、および該リング間で圧迫された重ね合せられた複数の弾性部材を備え、前記複数の弾性部材は、任意の1つの弾性部材の開始エッジが隣接する弾性部材の最終エッジの上にそれぞれ重なるように前記貫通孔の周辺に配列される、シール組立体と、
(d)前記第1のリングおよび前記第2のリング、ならびに前記弾性部材を連結する複数の突出部と、
を備え、
前記複数の弾性部材が、外科器具が挿通された場合に、前記複数の弾性部材のほぼ中心に開口が形成されるように配置され、
前記複数の弾性部材が、互いに組み付けられる前に非平面の形状を有するように成形されている、
トロカール。 - 請求項6に記載のトロカールにおいて、
前記重ね合わされた複数の弾性部材は、円錐形を形成する、トロカール。 - 請求項7に記載のトロカールにおいて、
前記弾性部材は、基端側フランジ部分、および前記フランジ部分から先端側に延びている、内側に延びる部分を備え、
前記基端側フランジ部分が、前記リング間に配置され、前記リングに当接する、トロカール。 - 患者に処置を施すためのトロカールにおいて、
(a)先端部、および基端部を有する中空カニューレと、
(b)前記カニューレの前記基端部に取り付けられた先端部、および、貫通孔を有する壁部が取り付けられた基端部を有するハウジングと、
(c)前記ハウジング内に配置されたシール組立体であって、第1の実質的に硬質のリング、第2の実質的に硬質のリング、および該複数のリングの間で圧迫された半円状の複数の弾性部材を備え、前記弾性部材が、互いに編み込まれるように重ね合わされているパターンで前記貫通孔に外接する、シール組立体と、
を備え、
前記複数の弾性部材が、外科器具が挿通された場合に、前記複数の弾性部材のほぼ中心に開口が形成されるように配置され、
前記複数の弾性部材が、互いに組み付けられる前に非平面の形状を有するように成形されている、
トロカール。 - 請求項9に記載のトロカールにおいて、
前記弾性部材は、基端側フランジ部分、および前記フランジ部分から先端側に延びている、内側に延びる部分を備え、前記基端側フランジ部分は、前記リング間に配置され、かつ前記リングと当接する、トロカール。
