Claims (20)
- 患者をモニタリングする無線身体ネットワークシステムであって、
前記患者の生理機能に関するデータを収集し、かつ無線身体ネットワークに送信するよう構成され、前記患者に結合される少なくとも1つの無線ユニットであって、
サービスを特定するサービスタイプ・フィールドと前記サービスが提供されるか消費されるかを特定するポイントタイプ・フィールドとの少なくとも1つと、
前記無線身体ネットワークに対して一意である患者識別番号を含む患者識別フィールドと、
前記患者識別フィールドと前記サービスタイプ・フィールドと前記ポイントタイプ・フィールドとが同一であるとき、ある無線ユニットを別の無線ユニットと区別するポイント識別フィールドとを含むアドレッシング・スキームを利用する無線ユニットと、
前記アドレッシング・スキームを用いて、前記無線ユニットと通信するよう構成される物理デバイスとを有する、無線身体ネットワークシステム。 - 前記少なくとも1つの無線ユニットが、
前記一意な患者識別番号を前記無線身体ネットワークに送信するよう構成され、前記患者に結合される患者識別モジュールと、
データ処理要素、表示デバイス、データストレージユニット及びデータ送信要素のいずれかである物理デバイスとを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記アドレッシング・スキームが更に、
前記サービスを示す前記サービスタイプ・フィールドと、前記無線ユニットが前記サービスを提供するか消費するかを示す前記ポイントタイプ・フィールドとを共に含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記患者識別フィールド、前記サービスタイプ・フィールド、前記ポイントタイプ・フィールド、及び前記ポイント識別フィールドの少なくとも1つが、マルチキャストアドレス・フィールドとして指定可能である、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記無線ユニットが、サービスポイントと制御ポイントとを両方含む、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- ポイント識別値が前記無線ユニットに自律的に割り当てられる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- アドレスが一意でない場合、別の物理デバイスとの衝突を避けるよう、前記自律的に割り当てられるポイント識別値が前記無線身体ネットワークにより修正される、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記無線ユニットのサービスタイプが、心電計センサ、パルス酸素濃度計センサ、非侵襲血圧センサ、及び温度センサのいずれかである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ポイントタイプ・フィールドが、
前記無線身体ネットワークにサービスを提供するサービスポイントと、
別のサービスポイントにより提供されるサービスを消費する制御ポイントとのいずれかを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記アドレッシング・スキームが、
前記物理デバイスと前記患者との一方の特定の位置を示す位置フィールドを更に含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 複数の無線ユニットを含む、無線医療センサネットワーク内での通信のための方法において、
アドレッシング・スキームを利用して前記無線ユニットの少なくとも1つにブロードキャストするステップを有し、前記アドレッシング・スキームが、
前記無線身体ネットワークに対して一意である患者識別番号を含む患者識別フィールドと、
サービスを特定するサービスタイプ・フィールドと前記サービスが提供されるか消費されるかを特定するポイントタイプ・フィールドとの少なくとも1つと、
前記患者識別フィールドと前記サービスタイプ・フィールドと前記ポイントタイプ・フィールドとが同一であるとき、ある無線ユニットを別の無線ユニットと区別するためのポイント識別値を含むポイント識別フィールドとを含む、方法。 - 前記アドレッシング・スキームが更に、
サービスタイプ値を示す前記サービスタイプ・フィールドと、前記無線ユニットがサービスを提供するか消費するかを示す前記ポイント値を含む前記ポイントタイプ・フィールドとを共に含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記患者の特性に関する情報を監視し、かつ前記高性能な無線センサネットワークに送信するよう、前記無線ユニットの1つを患者に結合するステップを更に含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 患者識別モジュールを前記患者に結合するステップを更に含み、前記患者識別モジュールが、前記患者識別フィールドにおいて前記高性能な無線センサネットワークに対する一意な患者識別番号を持つ、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記無線ユニットを前記患者に結合した後、アドレスが一意であるかどうかを決定するため他のネットワークデバイスに対するポーリングを行うステップと、
前記結合された無線ユニットのアドレスが一意でない場合、割り当て可能な別のポイント識別値を選択するステップとを更に含む、請求項13に記載の方法。 - 前記患者の特性の監視を監視するステップが、心電計値、パルス酸素濃度計値、非侵襲血圧値、及び温度値の少なくとも1つを監視するステップを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記ポイントタイプ・フィールドが、前記無線身体ネットワークにサービスを提供するサービスポイントと、前記サービスポイントにより提供されるサービスを消費する制御ポイントとのいずれかを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記アドレッシング・スキームが、
前記無線ユニットと前記患者との一方に関する特定の位置を示す位置フィールドを更に含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記患者識別フィールド、前記サービスタイプ・フィールド、前記ポイントタイプ・フィールド、及び前記ポイント識別フィールドの少なくとも1つをマルチキャストアドレスとして指定するステップを更に含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 共通のサービスポイントを備えるすべてのユニットと、
共通の制御ポイントを備えるすべてのユニットと、
選択された患者に属するすべてのユニットと、
同じサービスタイプを提供する、選択された患者のすべてのユニットと、
同じサービスタイプを消費する、選択された患者に属するすべてのユニットと、
すべてのユニットとの何れかをあて先とするマルチキャストを行うステップを更に含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
