Description
Claims (10)
- それぞれ光を伝導するように構成された長手方向コア(110)を有し、導波路束軸(114)の周囲で離間し該導波路束軸(114)に沿って実質的に整列された複数の光導波路(104)、(106)を含む光導波路束(102)を備える光検出装置であって、
2つの該光導波路はそれぞれブラッグ反射器(118)、(120)を含み、該ブラッグ反射器は、前記導波路束軸を実質的に横切る方向から前記光導波路へ入射する光を、伝播モードで結合するように構成され、
前記2つの光導波路それぞれは、該2つの光導波路それぞれからの光を別個に検出するように構成された光検出器(126)、(128)と光通信する光検出装置。 - 前記ブラッグ反射器のそれぞれは方位を有し、該方位は前記導波路束軸の周囲で離間しており、
該ブラッグ反射器それぞれは、前記導波路束軸を実質的に横切る異なる方向から入射する光を結合するように構成される、
請求項1に記載の光検出装置。 - 前記光導波路は、該光導波路間に挿入されたコア(116)によって、前記光導波路束内に整列して保持される、請求項1に記載の光検出装置。
- それぞれ光を伝導するように構成された長手方向コアを有する2つの各光導波路と一体にブラッグ反射器を形成するステップと、
導波路束軸の周囲で離間し該導波路束軸に沿って実質的に整列された前記2つの光導波路を含む光導波路束を形成するステップであって、該2つのブラッグ反射器それぞれは、該導波路束軸を実質的に横切る方向から該2つの光導波路のうちの1つへ入射する光を、伝播モードで結合するように構成される、前記光導波路束を形成するステップと、
前記2つの光導波路それぞれを該2つの光導波路からの光を別個に検出するように構成された光検出器と光通信させるように設置するステップと、
を含む光検出方法。 - 前記光導波路束を形成するステップは、前記ブラッグ反射器のそれぞれが方位を有し、該方位は前記導波路束軸の周囲で離間し、前記ブラッグ反射器それぞれは前記導波路束軸を実質的に横切る異なる方向から入射する光を結合するように構成される、ステップである、
請求項4に記載の光検出方法。 - 前記光導波路束を形成するステップは、前記光導波路を前記光導波路間に挿入された導波路束コアと整列して配置するステップを含む請求項4に記載の光検出方法。
- 光源方位情報を決定する方法であって、
装置を提供するステップであって、該装置は、それぞれ光を伝導するように構成された長手方向コアを有し、導波路束軸の周囲で離間し該導波路束軸に沿って実質的に整列された2つの光導波路を含む、光導波路束を有し、該2つの光導波路それぞれは、該導波路束軸を実質的に横切る方向から該光導波路へ入射する光を伝播モードで結合するように構成されるブラッグ反射器を含み、前記2つの光導波路それぞれは、該2つの光導波路それぞれからの光を別個に検出するように構成された光検出器と光通信する、前記装置を提供するステップと、
検出される光源に露出するために前記光導波路束を配置するステップと、
前記導波路束軸を実質的に横切る方向から該2つの光導波路の内の1つへ入射する光を検出することによって光検出データを生成するステップと、
前記光検出データを光源方位情報に統合するステップと、
を含む光源方位情報を決定する方法。 - 装置を提供するステップは複数のブラッグ反射器を提供するステップであって、該複数のブラッグ反射器それぞれは、該導波路束軸の周囲で離間している方位を有するとともに、前記導波路束軸を実質的に横切る異なる方向から入射する光を結合するように構成された、複数のブラッグ反射器を提供するステップを含む、請求項7に記載の光源方位情報を決定する方法。
- 装置を提供する前記ステップは、前記光導波路間に挿入されたコアによって該光導波路束内で整列して保持された光導波路を含む光導波路束を提供するステップを含み、
装置を提供する前記ステップは、1以上の選択された波長の光を光導波路に結合するようにブラッグ反射器それぞれを構成し、かつ前記1以上の選択された波長で実質的に光を伝導しないように前記コアを構成するステップを含む、
請求項7に記載の光源方位情報を決定する方法。 - ブラッグ反射器方位データを提供するステップと、
前記光検出データを統合するステップは、該ブラッグ反射器方位データおよび光検出データを前記光源方位情報に統合させるステップと、
を含む請求項7に記載の光源方位情報を決定する方法。
