Description
ロッカー耐チッピング材塗布→セッティング7分→中塗り塗布→セッティング5分→プレヒート80℃×3分pass→ベース塗布→セッティング5分→プレヒート80℃×3分pass→クリア塗布→セッティング7分→焼付140℃×18分Keep
リン酸亜鉛化成処理を施した冷延鋼板に、カチオン電着塗料(エレクトロンGT−10、商品名、関西ペイント社製)を乾燥膜厚20μmとなるように電着塗装し、170℃で30分間加熱して硬化させて試験用被塗物とした。
上記試験用被塗物に、水性中塗り塗料として、水酸基含有ポリエステル樹脂とメラミン樹脂を含有する熱硬化型中塗り塗料(WP−306T、商品名、関西ペイント社製)を、回転霧化型の静電塗装機を用いて、乾燥膜厚で35μmとなるように静電塗装し、7分間放置した。次いで、該試験用被塗物を、140℃に保持された乾燥炉内に移し、20分間保持して、中塗り塗膜を焼付硬化させた。
次いで、該試験用被塗物を140℃に保持された乾燥炉内に移し、20分間保持して、ベース塗膜及びクリア塗膜を焼付硬化させることにより試験板を作成した。
上記試験用被塗物に、耐チッピング塗料として、塩化ビニル共重合体と接着付与剤としてポリアミドを含有するプラスチゾル組成物(PT−187、商品名、セメダインヘンケル社製)を、エアレスポンプを用いて、乾燥膜厚で300μmとなるように霧化塗布し、7分間室温放置した。
次いで、該試験用被塗物を140℃に保持された乾燥炉内に移し、20分間保持して、ベース塗膜及びクリア塗膜を焼付硬化させることにより試験板を作成した。
上記試験用被塗物に、水性中塗り塗料として、水酸基含有ポリエステル樹脂とメラミン樹脂を含有する熱硬化型中塗り塗料(WP−306T、商品名、関西ペイント社製)を、回転霧化型の静電塗装機を用いて、乾燥膜厚で25μmとなるように静電塗装し、2分間放置後、80℃で3分間プレヒートを行った。プレヒート後の中塗り塗膜の塗料固形分は90質量%であった。
上記試験用被塗物に、耐チッピング塗料として、塩化ビニル共重合体と接着付与剤としてポリアミドを含有するプラスチゾル組成物(PT−187、商品名、セメダインヘンケル社製)を、エアレスポンプを用いて、乾燥膜厚で300μmとなるように霧化塗布し、7分間室温放置した。
上記試験用被塗物に、耐チッピング塗料として、塩化ビニル共重合体と接着付与剤としてブロックイソシアネートのみを含有するプラスチゾル組成物(PT−192、商品名、セメダインヘンケル社製)を、エアレスポンプを用いて、乾燥膜厚で300μmとなるように霧化塗布し、7分間室温放置した。
ロッカー耐チップ材として耐チッピング塗料が塗られている所と塗られていない所で黄色に差があると問題となる。よって、色差計を用いて黄色さの指標であるb値の差より黄変性の評価を実施した。つまり、黄変の強さは下記Δb値であらわされる。

Claims (5)
- 耐チッピング塗料が塗装された部材の上に、水性塗料で中塗りする中塗り(第1コート)工程と、中塗りされたウエット状態の部材を水性塗料でベース塗装するベース塗装(第2コート)工程と、ベース塗装されたウエット状態の部材をクリア塗装するクリア塗装(第3コート)工程と、塗装された3層(第1〜3コート層)を一度に焼き付け硬化させる焼付け(ベーク)工程からなる塗膜形成方法であって、該耐チッピング塗料が、接着付与剤として、加熱によりイソシアネートを再生するブロックイソシアネート化合物を含有することを特徴とする塗膜形成方法。
- 前記中塗り工程と前記ベース塗装工程との間に、中塗りされた前記部材を予備加熱(プレヒート)する第1予備加熱工程が設けられ、前記ベース塗装工程と前記クリア塗装工程との間に、ベース塗装された前記部材を予備加熱(プレヒート)する第2予備加熱工程が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の塗膜形成方法。
- 前記ブロックイソシアネート化合物が、ジ−又はポリ−イソシアネート乃至はこれらの混合物をブロック化剤と反応して得られるものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の塗膜形成方法。
- 前記耐チッピング塗料が、塩化ビニル重合体及び/又は塩化ビニル共重合体を主剤とすることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の塗膜形成方法。
- 前記部材が、自動車ボディを構成する部材であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の塗膜形成方法。
