A connection structure between an electric wire and a printed circuit board according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a connection structure between an electric wire and a printed circuit board according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is an explanatory view illustrating a method for assembling the connection structure between the electric wire and the printed board shown in FIG. FIG. 3 is an explanatory view for explaining the operation in the connection structure between the electric wire and the printed board shown in FIG. FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing a terminal fitting used in the connection structure between the electric wire and the printed board shown in FIG.

A connection structure 1 (hereinafter abbreviated as “connection structure 1”) between an electric wire and a printed board shown in FIG. 1 is a connection structure 1 that connects the electric wire 2 and the printed board 5 via a terminal fitting 6.

The electric wire 2 is a so-called covered electric wire in which a conductive core wire 4 is covered with an insulating covering portion 3. The electric wire 2 is a round electric wire having a round cross section. Furthermore, this electric wire 2 has the coating | coated part 3 of the terminal peeled off, and the core wire 4 is exposed.

The printed circuit board 5 is a known printed circuit board 5 in which a conductive pattern 52 is provided on the surface of an insulating substrate 51 formed in a plate shape. The printed circuit board 5 has a plurality of electronic components (not shown).

The terminal fitting 6 is obtained by punching or bending a conductive metal plate made of copper or a copper alloy (including brass, beryllium copper, etc.). The terminal metal fitting 6 has a board joint portion 6A joined to the printed board 5 and a wire connection portion 6B capable of caulking the electric wire 2.

As shown in FIG. 4, the substrate bonding portion 6 </ b> A includes a first bonding portion 63 formed in a flat plate shape and a second bonding formed in a flat plate shape with a space from the first bonding portion 63. And a connecting portion 64 that connects the first joint portion 63 and the second joint portion 65. Moreover, the 1st junction part 63, the 2nd junction part 65, and the connection part 64 are provided on the same plane.

In addition, the bottom surface of the first bonding portion 63 is bonded to the substrate 51 of the printed circuit board 5 by reflow bonding. Further, the bottom surface of the second bonding portion 65 is bonded to the conductor pattern 52 of the printed circuit board 5 by reflow bonding. Thus, by joining the terminal metal fitting 6 to the printed circuit board 5 by reflow bonding, the plurality of terminal metal fittings 6 can be joined to the printed circuit board 5 in a short time, so that productivity can be improved. Further, the connecting portion 64 is not joined to the printed circuit board 5 but is superimposed on the printed circuit board 5.

The reflow bonding is performed by melting a bonding material such as cream solder interposed between the terminal fitting 6 and the printed circuit board 5 in a reflow furnace, and using the molten bonding material, the terminal fitting 6 and the printed circuit board 5 The joining method of joining. The cream solder is a bonding material mainly composed of tin and silver not using lead.

The connecting portion 64 is connected to the first joint portion 63, and extends along a direction substantially orthogonal to the direction in which the first joint portion 63 and the second joint portion 65 are arranged, and a second joint portion. 2nd connection part 64b extended along the direction substantially orthogonal to the row direction of the 1st junction part 63 and the 2nd junction part 65, and it separated from the 1st junction part 63 of the 1st connection part 64a. The end portion is connected to the end portion of the second connecting portion 64b away from the second joint portion 65, and has a third connecting portion 64c formed in a linear shape.

Moreover, the 1st connection part 64a continues to the edge part near the 2nd junction part 65 of the 1st junction part 63, and is extended linearly. The second connecting portion 64b is connected to the end of the second connecting portion 65 near the first connecting portion 63 and extends linearly in the same direction as the first connecting portion 64a . By forming the connecting portion 64 in a meandering shape in this way, it is possible to make it difficult for the external force applied to the electric wire 2 and the first joint portion 63 to be transmitted from the first joint portion 63 to the second joint portion 65.

As shown in FIG. 4, the wire connecting portion 6B includes a flat bottom wall 60 that is flush with the first joint 63 and a pair of first caulkings that are erected from both ends of the bottom wall 60 in the width direction. It has a piece 61 and a pair of second caulking pieces 62 erected from both ends in the width direction of the bottom wall 60. The first caulking piece 61 and the second caulking piece 62 are arranged along the arrangement direction of the first joining portion 63 and the second joining portion 65 described above, and the second caulking piece 62 is more than the first caulking piece 61. Is also disposed closer to the first joint 63. That is, the 2nd junction part 65, the 1st junction part 63, the 2nd crimping piece 62, and the 1st crimping piece 61 are arrange | positioned along with the straight line in order.

The bottom wall 60 positions the electric wire 2 on the upper surface. The pair of first caulking pieces 61 are bent in a direction in which the tip portion approaches the bottom wall 60 with the electric wire 2 positioned between them, thereby caulking the covering portion 3 of the electric wire 2 so that the electric wire 2 is Secure to the wall 60. The pair of second caulking pieces 62 are bent in a direction in which the tip portion approaches the bottom wall 60 in a state where the core wire 4 of the electric wire 2 is positioned between them, so that the core wire 4 is caulked and electrically connected to the core wire 4. Connect to.

Further, the bottom wall 60, that is, the electric wire connection portion 6 </ b> B is disposed outside the outer edge of the printed circuit board 5. Thus, the work of bending the pair of first caulking pieces 61 and the pair of second caulking pieces 62 can be performed with a press machine, so that productivity can be improved. In addition, stress applied to the printed circuit board 5 when the pair of first caulking pieces 61 and the pair of second caulking pieces 62 are bent can be reduced.

Subsequently, an assembly method of the connection structure 1 having the above-described configuration, that is, a connection method will be described below.

First, the terminal fitting is sandwiched between the first joining portion 63 and the second joining portion 65 of the terminal fitting 6 (see FIG. 4) and the printed board 5 without the electric wire 2 attached thereto. 6 and the printed circuit board 5 are overlapped. Then, the terminal fitting 6 and the printed circuit board 5 are put in a reflow furnace to melt the bonding material, and the first bonding part 63 and the second bonding part 65 are bonded to the printed circuit board 5.

Then, as described above, the electric wire connecting portion 6B of the terminal fitting 6 (see FIG. 2) in which the substrate bonding portion 6A is bonded to the printed circuit board 5 is set in a not-shown pressing machine, and a pair of The first caulking piece 61 and the pair of second caulking pieces 62 are bent to connect the electric wire 2 and the electric wire connecting portion 6B. In this way, the electric wire 2 and the printed board 5 are connected.

According to the connection structure 1 described above, even when an external force is applied and the electric wire 2 is bent, stress can be prevented from concentrating on the board joint 6A, and the board joint 6A can be prevented from coming off the printed board 5. Can be prevented. In addition, since it is possible to eliminate the precise work of passing the core wire of the electric wire through the through hole of the printed circuit board and the soldering work in the through hole, the productivity can be improved.

When the electric wire 2 is bent or pulled and an external force is applied to the electric wire 2 or when the pair of first caulking pieces 61 and the pair of second caulking pieces 62 are bent and the electric wire 2 is caulked. Even when an external force is applied to the first joint portion 63, the external force can be prevented from being transmitted from the first joint portion 63 to the second joint portion 65, and the second joint portion 65 can be prevented from being detached from the printed circuit board 5. .

Further, even when the electric wire 2 is bent or pulled and the first joint 63 is detached from the printed board 5 as shown in FIG. 3, the connecting portion 64 is added to the electric wire 2 and the first joint 63. By absorbing the external force, the external force can be prevented from being transmitted from the first joint portion 63 to the second joint portion 65, and the second joint portion 65 can be prevented from being detached from the printed circuit board 5. Therefore, the connection structure 1 with high connection reliability can be provided.

In addition, embodiment mentioned above only showed the typical form of this invention, and this invention is not limited to embodiment.
