Description
具体的にいえば、シール28の縁部近傍のデータは、あるべき温度より非常に低い温度を示しうる。これは、カメラのピクセル境界が実際のシールの境界と一致していないことに主として起因するが、さらに、隣接するより温度の低い領域中への熱の漏洩および他の要因に起因しうる。したがって、ソフトウェアは、シール28の境界に影響を与えるために、ブロッブ希薄ルーチン(blob thinning routine)またはブロッブ濃縮ルーチン(blob fattening routine)を用いうる。
Claims (18)
- 熱シールの欠陥を監視および検出するための装置であって、
少なくとも一つの直前に作成された熱シールを有する目的物を輸送するプロセスラインに沿って備え付けられている熱イメージ装置と、
入力部および出力部を有するコントローラと、
前記コントローラの前記出力部に通信可能に接続された出力装置と、を備え、
前記コントローラの前記入力部が前記熱シールの熱イメージデータを受け取るために前記熱イメージ装置に通信可能に接続され、
前記コントローラが前記熱シール上の高温ゾーンおよび低温ゾーンのうちの少なくとも一つのゾーンを検出し、該少なくとも一つのゾーンにおける目的物が静止している間の熱の変化率に基づいて、ノイズを除去した熱イメージを示す熱変化率情報を取得し、前記熱変化率情報を用いてブロッブパターンを作成し、該作成したブロッブパターンにより、前記熱シールが欠陥であるか正常であるかを検出するようにプログラムされ、
前記出力装置が前記シール検出の結果を示す、装置。 - 前記出力装置が、前記シール検出を示す表示装置である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記出力装置が、前記高温ゾーンおよび前記低温ゾーンの少なくとも一つを検出するとアラームを駆動させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラの外部に、インデックス装置をさらに備えており、該インデックス装置が、前記プロセスラインに沿って備え付けられ、前記熱イメージ装置に対して前記目的物をインデックスするように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラが、前記シールの熱イメージから作成された前記ブロッブパターンを薄めるようにプログラムされてなる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラが、前記シールの熱イメージから作成された前記ブロッブパターンを濃くするようにプログラムされている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記熱イメージデータと比較するための基準イメージをさらに備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラが、前記目的物の熱イメージから作成された前記ブロッブパターンを用いて、前記熱イメージ装置に対して前記目的物をインデックスするようにプログラムされている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記目的物の放射特性に厳密にマッチさせるためのスペクトルフィルタをさらに備えている、請求項1記載の装置。
- プロセスラインに沿って熱シールの欠陥を監視および検出するための方法であって、
前記プロセスラインで運搬されている目的物上の直前に作成された熱シールの第1の熱イメージを取得することと、
前記熱イメージを複数のピクセルに変換することと、
前記直前に作成された熱シールの第2の熱イメージを取得することと、
前記複数のピクセルのうちの少なくとも一つの熱変化率を取得することと、
前記熱変化率に基づいて、ノイズを除去した熱イメージを示す熱変化率情報を取得することと、
前記ピクセルを、前記熱変化率情報を用いて、少なくとも第1のグループと第2のグループとにグループ分けすることと、
前記第1のグループおよび前記第2のグループのピクセルを分析し、該分析した結果により、前記熱シールが欠陥であるか正常であるかを検出することと、を含む、方法。 - 前記ピクセルを分析することが、前記第1のグループおよび前記第2のグループのうちの少なくとも一つのピクセルを基準イメージと比較することを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 熱イメージ装置に対して前記目的物をインデックスすることをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記ピクセルから作成されたイメージを薄めることをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記ピクセルから作成されたイメージを濃くすることをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- プロセスラインで複数の材料を融合させることにより作成された熱シール用の欠陥検出システムであって、
熱イメージカメラと、
前記熱イメージカメラおよび出力装置に動作可能に接続されているコントローラと、を備えており、
前記コントローラが、前記熱イメージカメラから受け取るイメージを処理するようにプログラムされ、
前記コントローラが、前記イメージのノイズを除去した熱イメージを示す熱変化率情報を取得するようにプログラムされ、
前記コントローラが、処理された前記イメージを用いて前記熱シールが欠陥であるか正常であるかを検出するようにプログラムされている、欠陥検出システム。 - 前記熱イメージ装置が、標的材料の放射特性に厳密にマッチさせるために、スペクトルフィルタを備えている、請求項15に記載の欠陥検出システム。
- 前記コントローラが、少なくとも第1のグループおよび第2のグループの中に、前記熱イメージのピクセルを分離するようにプログラムされている、 請求項15に記載の欠陥検出システム。
- 前記コントローラが、前記熱イメージを基準イメージと比較するようにプログラムされている、請求項15に記載の欠陥検出システム。
