Description
Claims (19)
- 長手軸に沿って延びる固定部材の頭部の上面に形成された凹部であり、前記凹部は、
螺旋形に形成された駆動面を画定する半径方向内方に延びる複数のローブからなり、前記駆動面は前記長手軸方向において前記ローブの外向き上面から前記凹部の底部に向かって延び、前記駆動面は前記固定部材を前記長手軸の回りに取付方向又は取外方向に回転せしめるための駆動工具と係合するように形成され、
前記凹部はさらに、
前記固定部材頭部の上面に凹みとして構成され、円筒形であり前記長手軸と同心に形成されて、前記複数のローブの外側上面を含むカウンターボアと、
前記複数のローブの各々の前記外側に面する表面上に形成された複数の非駆動の斜面と、からなり、
前記非駆動の斜面の各々は、
頂部を有し、かつ前記頂部から半径方向内方に前記取付方向の円周方向に延び、かつ半径方向及び円周方向における複合角で前記頂部から下方傾斜する取付傾斜部と、
頂部を有し、かつ前記頂部から半径方向内方に前記取外方向の円周方向に延び、かつ半径方向及び円周方向における複合角で前記頂部から下方傾斜する取外傾斜部と、からなり、
前記取付傾斜部及び取外傾斜部は取付方向若しくは取外方向どちらかにおいて回転駆動工具と前記駆動面との係合を促すことを特徴とする凹部。 - 前記取付傾斜部は前記カウンターボアの所定の円周長だけ延びる第一の扇形を形成し、前記取外傾斜部は前記カウンターボアの所定の円周長だけ延びる第二の扇形を形成し、前記第一の扇形の円周長は前記第二の扇形の円周長より大きい請求項1記載の固定部材の凹部。
- 前記第一の扇形の円周長と前記第二の扇形の円周長の比はほぼ2対1である請求項2記載の固定部材の凹部。
- 前記第一の扇形は60°であり前記第二の扇形は30°である請求項2記載の固定部材の凹部。
- 前記取付傾斜部は所定の角度で円周方向に下方傾斜する請求項1記載の固定部材の凹部。
- 前記所定の角度は2°から6°の範囲である請求項5記載の固定部材の凹部。
- 前記取外傾斜部は所定の角度で円周方向に下方傾斜する請求項1記載の固定部材の凹部。
- 前記所定の角度は1°から2°の範囲である請求項7記載の固定部材の凹部。
- 長手軸に沿って延びる固定部材の頭部の上面に凹部を形成するためのパンチの作成方法であって、前記凹部は螺旋形に形成された駆動面を画定する半径方向内方に延びる複数のローブを有し、前記駆動面は前記長手軸方向において前記ローブの外向き上面から前記凹部の底部に向かって延び、前記駆動面は前記長手軸の回りに取付方向又は取外方向に回転せしめるための駆動工具と係合するように形成され、前記方法は、
金型ブランク内に円筒形であり前記長手軸と同心の穴を形成する工程と、
前記固定部材凹部の前記複数の駆動面を画定するために前記穴内に半径方向内方に延びる複数のローブを形成する工程と、
前記金型の前記複数のローブの各々の前記外側に面する表面上に形成された複数の非駆動の斜面を形成する工程と、からなり、前記非駆動の斜面の各々は前記穴内のカウンターボア内に所定値窪まされ、前記非駆動の斜面の各々は、
頂部を有し、かつ前記頂部から半径方向内方に前記取付方向の円周方向に延び、かつ半径方向及び円周方向における複合角で前記頂部から下方傾斜する取付傾斜部と、
頂部を有し、かつ前記頂部から半径方向内方に前記取外方向の円周方向に延び、かつ半径方向及び円周方向における複合角で前記頂部から下方傾斜する取外傾斜部と、からなり、
前記取付傾斜部及び取外傾斜部は取付方向若しくは取外方向どちらかにおいて回転駆動工具と前記駆動面との係合を促すように形成され、
前記方法はさらに、
前記金型内へパンチブランクをプレス加工することによりパンチを冷間形成する工程を有する製造方法。 - 前記複数のローブの各々の外側に斜面を形成する工程は、
前記カウンターボアに一致するように形成され、係合面を有し、ほぼ円筒形のワイヤーEDMプローブを形成する工程と、
前記取付及び取外傾斜部の複合角を形成するために前記係合面のローブの数に一致する一連の形成面を形成する工程と、を含む請求項9記載の方法。 - 前記一連の形成面を構成する工程は9度及び15度の複合角で4つの形成面を機械加工する工程を含む請求項10記載の方法。
- 長手軸に沿って延びる固定部材の頭部の上面に凹部を形成するためのパンチであって、前記凹部は螺旋形に構成された駆動面を画定する半径方向内方に延びる複数のローブを有し、前記駆動面は前記長手軸方向において前記ローブの外向き上面から前記凹部の底部に向かって延び、前記駆動面は前記長手軸の回りに取付方向又は取外方向に回転せしめるための駆動工具と係合するように形成され、前記パンチは、
螺旋形の駆動面を形成するように配置されたローブを有する頂点の方に軸部から外に延び、軸部において第一の直径を有するパンチ頭部からなり、パンチ頭部は
第二の直径を有する円筒形であり前記長手軸と同心の基部からなり、
前記基部は前記パンチの軸部の外側に形成され、前記第二の直径は前記第一の直径よりも小さく、前記ローブは前記基部から前記頂点へ外側に突きだし、第二の直径まで半径方向に延び、前記ローブは外側に向かう翼状面を各ローブの間の前記基部に形成し、
各前記翼状面上に非駆動の斜面が構成され、各前記斜面は、
谷部を有し、かつ前記谷部から半径方向内方に前記取付方向の円周方向に延び、かつ半径方向及び円周方向における複合角で前記谷部から下方傾斜する取付傾斜部と、
谷部を有し、かつ前記谷部から半径方向内方に前記取外方向の円周方向に延び、かつ半径方向及び円周方向における複合角で前記谷部から下方傾斜する取外傾斜部と、からなることを特徴とするパンチ。 - 前記取付傾斜部は前記基部の所定の円周長だけ延びる第一の扇形を形成し、前記取外傾斜部は前記基部の所定の円周長だけ延びる第二の扇形を形成し、前記第一の扇形の円周長は前記第二扇形の円周長より大きい請求項12記載のパンチ。
- 前記第一の扇形の円周長と前記第二の扇形の円周長の比はおおよそ2対1である請求項13記載のパンチ。
- 前記第一の扇形は60°であり前記第二の扇形は30°である請求項13記載のパンチ。
- 前記取付傾斜部は所定の角度で円周方向に傾斜する請求項12記載のパンチ。
- 前記所定の角度は2°から6°の範囲である請求項16記載のパンチ。
- 前記取外傾斜部は所定の角度で円周方向に傾斜する請求項12記載のパンチ。
- 前記所定の角度は1°から2°の範囲である請求項18記載のパンチ。
