Description

Claims (17)
- 遠位端に画成されるループを有する長尺キャリアであって、前記ループは第1アームおよび第2アームを備え、前記ループの前記アームは、互いに少なくとも一部が電気的に絶縁されるようになした、前記長尺キャリアと;
前記ループの前記各アーム上に配置される少なくとも1つの電極と
を含み、
前記長尺キャリアは、管状部材によって形成され、
前記管状部材は、前記ループの前記少なくとも1つの電極用の導電体のための芯として働き、前記導電体は、前記管状部材の外周廻りに配置され、絶縁材料の皮膜で覆われており、
前記管状部材は、それ自体を折り返して、遠位ヘアピン、および前記ヘアピンから延びる一対のリムを形成し、前記各リムは近位端を有し、前記ループの前記アームは、前記ヘアピン対向面の前記リムの遠位部分により画成される、アブレーションカテーテル。 - 前記各アームは複数の電極を支持する、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。

- 温度測定機能は、前記少なくとも特定の導電体と関連させることができる、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記電極は、前記ループの外側だけで動作するように形成される、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記各電極は、半円筒形である、請求項7に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記少なくとも1つの電極は、前記長尺キャリア廻りに部分的にだけ配置される、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記少なくとも1つの電極は半円筒形である、請求項9に記載のカテーテル。
- アブレーションを発生させるエネルギー源は、高周波、マイクロ波、超音波、レーザーおよび凍結切除エネルギーを含むグループから選択される、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテル。
- アブレーションカテーテルを製造する方法であって、
(a)複数の導電体を管状部材の外周回りに配置し、前記複数の導電体を絶縁材料の皮膜で覆うステップ、
(b)前記管状部材を、ヘアピン形状になるようにそれ自体を折り返して、ヘアピンで接合された一対のリムを画成するステップ、
(c)絶縁材料の前記被膜を除去し、それにより前記複数の導電体を露出させ、前記複数の導電体と接続された電極を前記管状部材にコーティングするステップ、
(d)前記ヘアピンにおいて、前記管状部材と前記複数の導電体の少なくともいくつかを切断するステップ、及び、
(e)前記管状部材の切断した両端を電気絶縁して再結合するステップ、
によって長尺キャリアを形成するステップを含む、方法。 - 前記複数の導電体は、絶縁材料の前記被膜に埋め込まれている請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の導電体は、前記管状部材のルーメンの外周面の周囲に螺旋状に巻き付けられている、請求項12又は13に記載の方法。
- 前記電極は、半円筒形に形成されている請求項12に記載の方法。
- 形状形成部材を収容するチューブが前記管状部材のルーメンに挿入されている請求項12〜15のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記長尺キャリアは、導入部材に受容されている請求項12〜16のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
