Description

The present invention relates to a combustion burner device for boilers and the like that can use, as fuel, waste oil in which lubricating oil such as engine oil has been used.

Lubricating oils used for engine oils and machine hydraulic oils generally have a high viscosity, and so far, they have been disposed of as waste oil after use.
Disposing of waste oil as waste not only costs money, but also has the problem of becoming an environmentally hazardous substance.
Therefore, if waste oil can be used as a fuel, it will generate great added value as a valuable material, not industrial waste. However, as described above, waste oil has high viscosity, high ignition point, and high flash point. It could not be used as a common fuel like kerosene or heavy oil.

Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-46313 discloses a waste oil combustion apparatus for combusting waste oil. However, the waste oil as a waste is combusted and is a complicated apparatus.

Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-46313

An object of the present invention is to provide a combustion burner device that can effectively use waste oil as fuel and can be easily incorporated into a conventional heavy oil boiler.

The present invention is a combustion burner for a boiler using waste oil as a fuel, and the combustion burner of the boiler includes a high-pressure fuel injection nozzle, a combustion chamber for the injected fuel, and a preheating means for waste oil fuel supplied to the injection nozzle. It is characterized by having.
The preheating means is preferably provided with a coiled pipe around the combustion chamber and preheated with combustion heat by passing waste oil fuel through the coiled pipe.

Waste oil such as engine oil has high viscosity, so it is better to inject fuel under pressure. Depending on the size of the boiler, high pressure of at least 50 kgf / cm 2 is good, ideally 100 kgf / cm 2 or more .
Further, the waste oil has an ignition point of about 180 ° C. or higher, and it can be seen how hard it is to burn compared with heavy oil having a temperature of about 10 ° C.
Therefore, in the present invention, the waste oil is preheated before being supplied to the injection nozzle as fuel.
Here, since the ignition point of the waste oil is about 180 ° C., the preheating temperature is preferably 200 ° C. or higher.
Usually, the preheating temperature of waste oil is preferably about 300 ° C.
Moreover, you may provide the fin for stirring air in an air discharge port so that the air supplied as auxiliary combustion gas may be easily mixed with fuel.

It goes without saying that electric energy such as an electric heater may be used as the preheating means for the waste oil. However, it is structurally simple to use the radiant heat of the flame in the combustion chamber, which also saves energy.
Therefore, it is preferable to use heavy oil temporarily as fuel until the radiant heat of the combustion chamber is sufficiently generated in the initial stage of operation of the boiler and the coiled piping section reaches 200 ° C. or higher.
In this case, it is preferable to provide a supply switching means between heavy oil and waste oil.

In the present invention, even waste oil having a high ignition point can be burned very efficiently by preheating before fuel injection.
Conventionally, compared with the case where waste oil has been disposed of as industrial waste, the present invention can be utilized as a new energy resource, and contributes to downsizing of a boiler as a high-temperature heat source.

An example of a combustion burner device according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
The combustion burner apparatus according to the present invention can be developed for various uses by being incorporated in an apparatus that requires a heat source, but is effective when used in a combustion burner apparatus for a boiler.
FIG. 1 shows a system configuration example according to the present invention.
Waste oil (lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, etc.) such as used engine oil collected from a gas station or a repair shop is stored in a waste oil tank 40, solid foreign matter is removed by a strainer 50, and then about 100kgf / It is supplied to the combustion burner 10 via the fuel pipe 15 at a high pressure of cm 2 .
In addition, heavy oil is stored in the heavy oil tank 30 as operation start-up fuel, and switching is possible with the electromagnetic valves V1 and V2.
High pressure pumps and combustion fans (air blow devices) are controlled by inverters so that heavy oil during preheating is sent at low speed, and when switched to waste oil, high speed and high pressure are achieved.

An enlarged view of the combustion burner 10 is shown in FIG. 2, and a schematic cross-sectional view in the vicinity of the combustion chamber 16 is shown in FIG.
The combustion chamber 16 has a substantially cylindrical shape with an opening at the front, and an injection nozzle 11 for injecting fuel at a high pressure is disposed at the center of the rear.
Although the detailed structure of the injection nozzle is not shown in the drawing, the same structure as that used for the liquid fuel boiler is used, but a type that can withstand high temperatures is preferable.
A feature of the present invention resides in a fuel piping system for waste oil supplied to the injection nozzle 11.
The fuel pipe is formed into a coiled pipe concentrically around the combustion chamber 16, and the preheating unit 12 by the radiant heat of the combustion flame is provided.
The preheating part is covered with a heat insulating material 18 so as to be in the range of 200 to 400 ° C., ideally around 300 ° C., and is kept warm in the casing 17.
When the temperature exceeds 400 ° C. due to combustion, the ring blow device 14 is operated, and air is blown from the air injection pipe 14b to control cooling.
This ring blow device 14 is also used as pilot burner air used at the time of burner ignition, and the piping in that case is shown as 14a.
In addition, an air guide pipe 13a is provided behind the injection nozzle 11 and an air blow device 13 is connected to the pipe.
In this case, in order to promote the agitation and mixing of the air with the fuel, a rectifying plate 19 having a radial and inclined blade tip as shown in FIG. 4 is attached.
When stopping combustion of the burner, the waste oil valve V1 is closed, the heavy oil valve V2 is opened to make the contents of the coiled pipe heavy oil, and the return pump 21 is operated to remove the heavy oil in the coil pipe.
This returns to the initial state.

After opening the electromagnetic valve V2 of the heavy oil tank 30 and operating the combustion burner so that the preheating portion was about 200 ° C., the electromagnetic valve V2 was closed and the electromagnetic valve V1 was opened to switch to waste oil supply.
The analysis result of the waste oil used in the experiment is shown in FIG.
The waste oil is burned as fuel, the combustion gas is drawn from the flue of the boiler, and the results of analyzing the exhaust gas are shown in FIGS.
